By the next morning, the fires had finally run their course and the survivors were left in the ruined village. The Hunters ship remained standing on the hill as a testament to their loss. It took a few hours after the battle to clean all the bodies off the floor. Those who were villagers were mostly given a proper burial, although they were unable to do so for those whose bodies were mutilated beyond recognition. For the next three days, they continued to clean up the remains of the destroyed village, while still trying t find a way off the planet.
Jinola got at least ten of the surviving villagers to start scavenging parts of the ship to rebuild their communication device which had been destroyed in the fire. By the end of the week, they had a working radio and Zita was back to trying to get someone to get us off the planet. After two days, we had finally got transport for us and the remaining villagers of the planet, along with getting the message out that the hunters in the area had been destroyed. The transport finally arrived 6 days later and those who could still walk helped the survivors onto the transport.
By the time they returned to Federation space, news of the goings-on in the outer rim, and in Regime space had spread throughout the galaxy. The regime had undone much of the diplomatic work between the two governments, and was beginning to move troops to their border, although they had no plans of actual invasion. It seemed that things may go south faster than expected.
NB-213’s POV:

“I’d like to thank you forgiving me you’re time.” He said. “I know you’re a busy man these days.” I nodded mindlessly, still lost in thought. “But I think we may have found something that will help us against our enemies. We had to wear protective suits, and as we entered.
The room was blank, although covered with some small parts of machinery, and filled with scientists with similar looking protective suits. in the middle, was a force field surround what an area that appeared distorted, and curved, letting out blasts of electricity, in front of which was a control panel reading the energy levels. “Yes.” He said. “This may help.
