Nake's POV:
The gunfire slowly died down outside. I still remained sat alongside a wounded Zangar, a mildly panicking Zakarune, and around 20 people who had been wounded, although at least six people were near death. A few of the soldiers who had been fighting in the hour previous were slowly being dragged back into the room to heal, but our forces were slowly being overwhelmed. When the gunfire finally died down completely, I checked the cameras to see what they were doing, but I couldn't find anything. We all sat in tense silence for a few minutes, until Zakat, who was a scaled alien named the Gan decided to try and get help.
Although the rest of us tried to warn him away, he got the door open. The moment he stepped outside, an explosion happened, killing him instantly, and wounding several of the others in the room. I rushed to the door and saw what appeared to be the remains of a mine where he was standing. searching the area, I discovered signs of even mines around the room, meaning that the hunters had to have left at some point, and left several mines throughout the room, meaning we are just as stuck as we were before!555Please respect copyright.PENANAFoMToUzsDS
Darvos's POV:
We continued slowly towards the chapel. Since we knew the hunters were all mostly cloaked, and with no way of finding them, The entire unit was tense from not knowing when we are about the be attacked. We slowly passed the ruins of the cafeteria, with hundreds of bodies now clogging the seating area, with most completely mutilated, some burned beyond recognition and the classic "Hunted" Notice on the other end of the room. As we passed, one of our men was blown up suddenly, sending our new troops into a renewed panic.
3 more were blown up, and I discovered several mines dotted around the entire hallway. I called for the entire unit to back u and scanned the area for mines. The entire area was covered with the thing, with no easy way of getting through them, at least through this part of the station. Quickly, we moved to other paths, and hallways, but still was unable to find any way through to the chapel. With no other options, I backed my unit to another roomgrabbed a bit of rubble from the floor, and tossed it into the minefield.
After repeating this action, I was able to blow a path through the minefield, and arrive at the chapels door. Inside, we destroyed some more minds, and were able to help most of the remaining survivors out, although someone too injured and had to be left behind, awaiting further transport. We guided the remaining residents through the path in the minefield, all the way to the cafeteria. There we were able to spread them out, since the minefield finally ended, but just as we did, Zangar was taken out with a sniper shot. All of the soldiers began firing in the direction the shit came from, but it soon became clear that we were surrounded, as hunters started to uncloak themselves all around us, weapons at the ready.
Zita’s POV:
I paced the room for a couple of hours, as I waited for the troops to get back. Although most of the others were still sitting around the table watching the cameras for action, I had decided to step away a few hours ago, not feeling like watching much further than the minefield. I wasn’t even supposed to still be here, but we went into lockdown before my transport could arrive. I heard chatter coming from the table, and as I rushed towards it, a massive explosion erupted from the table.
