_ Neptune _
Remind me to never fall for smart guys. Because it happened to me in these past few days, and last week. I still remember that conversation between me and him when I said I only follow orders or what I can do is follow orders. I was ... hinting at the fact that I was following someone's orders rather than his but ... his sounds so much better than the one I am working for. For one, I get to hang around Castit all the time, two, I get to help folks when dangers come and three, it's harmless and I don't get punished. Buuut ... Sparrow's orders ... he has my brother and I can't abandon him there at that place. But ... Sparrow mentioned I would only get to see him, not set him free. I pawed the ground in my large wolf-fox form, staring down at the snow prints I made.
... Why can't I just break his orders and gather up a group and destroy his place? I know the teleportation spot and symbol to teleport there. I sighed and looked up to the fog that was high up. I wish I could see the sky, I miss seeing it.
I frowned, lowering my ears as I stood up and walked forward. I exited the residential area, padding past the plus section and into the walking section of this place. I looked around, hearing chatter from folks that stared at me with disgust written on their faces. I shook my pelt out and continued. I glanced at an area of a platform that had stands, marked with sheets hanging down from the top. I tilted my head and padded forward, entering the place. It was medium-sized with folks around the clothing stands. Oh. It's ... well, I don't know if it's a clothing shop area. They could be making all sorts of things here with cloths.
I walked over to a seat and jumped on it, seeing it much higher than what I used to see. I looked over to my left, seeing some ... flags on a stand. They were a few inches away from where I sat. The one in front of me looked like clothes hanging on there while the right one had something else in them but I couldn't tell what they were. I turned back to the left one and jumped down. I dragged the chair all the way over to the stands and climbed on it, staring down at the flags.
"... Did you really have to do that, bro?" I heard an folk say, making me look up. The folk was a light yellow-haired wolf--- which, I had to double-check he didn't have heterochromia for a second. But at last, he did. One was green while the other was orange. I widened my eyes, perking both of my ears up. The folk placed a hand on his hips, tilting his head. "Are you going to say something, bro? Or do I need to dig deep down as to why you're just sitting there after not seeing your brother for two years?"
I dropped my jaw as I widened my eyes. "You didn't know I was your brother, you fool?" He said, looking disappointed. "It just says for your lack of concern."
"... I thought Sparrow still had you!" I shouted, pinning my ears.
"Why would you think that? That monster didn't have me at all." Lithe said. Lithe is my brother that I've been trying to get out of the place that Sparrow captured him in. Seeing him in person and not captured is strange.
"... Did ... Did Sparrow trick me?" I asked, frowning.
"Probably so if Sparrow never told you of my escape." He said before blinking in realization. "Wait ... if he never told you ... then ... for two years straight, you've been blindly working underneath him for no reason at all! Are you still working for him right now?!"
"... I ... I ... I don't know." I whimpered, drooping my ears.
"Well, you should not anymore, little brother. You are free now." He told me.
"You make it so easy but ... but ... it so ...--- I'm sorry. It's difficult to decide right now." I said, frowning.
"Of course it is." He sighed and shook his head. "I would hug you if I could, but I'm on work duty. I can come over to your house and we can finally talk about what happened these past two years."
I nodded, smiling up at him as my six tails begin to wag. "I'd like that."
"Maybe then, you'll decide by then." He said, giving me a small smile. "So, did you want a flag?"
"What are these flags- no. What are these flags?" I asked.
"You said---"
"Answer the question, big brother," I growled. I hate his smartass butt.
Lithe rolled his eyes, smirking a little before dropping it. "These are GSRM flags. Each and every one is crafted to match each one. You have one of the homosexual ones which ... this one contains green on top and purple-blue on the bottom with white in the middle. I'm sure you'll love this one."
"Stop it," I said, smiling warmly.
"You can take one for yourself if you want." My brother teased me, grabbing the flag and handing it to me. "It'll also be better for you to be in your humanoid form."
"Get me a bag." I barked at him.
"Fine." He rolled his eyes and turned away. He returned with a bag and placed the gay flag in there. "What else?"
I gave him a look before looking down. "... Hmmm ... Which one of these is the asexual and aromantic flag?"
He raised his brows. "You don't need to gift me you know."
"They're for friends who are that," I said, looking up at him.
"Oh, now I'm hurt."
"Oh, get your own flag." I rolled my eyes.
He grinned before grabbing the one with black first, grey second, white third, and purple last. He placed it in the bag before grabbing the other one with green first, light green second, white third, grey fourth, and black last. He placed that one in the bag and stood up. "Is that all?" He asked.
... I wish I knew what Castit went with. I think he said before he didn't care for the gender so ... what was that again? "... Pan?" I said. "What was with pan?"
"I don't have a pan, sorry." He joked as I glared at him. He chuckled and turned over to the flag with hot pink, yellow, and blue. He placed it in the bag as I blinked, remembering about Paradise. Would they be non-binary? Hmmm... "And ... Non-binary too," I added on.
"At least, your adding things when I'm reaching for things." He commented, reaching for a flag that had yellow, white, purple, and black. He placed it in the bag. "Is that all now?"
"Yes." I nodded with a smile.
"Well, I hope these friends of yours aren't fake as the last ones were and they are happy with these gifts." Lithe said.
"Oh trust me, they're not," I said, grabbing the bag with my jaw and carrying it.
"They better be. Speaking of that ... do I need to meet them?" He asked. "To see if you aren't sure they're fake and just using you."
I frowned, dropping the bag on the chair. "They're not like my ex-boyfriend, alright?" I reassure him. "Besides ... I think he had every right to ... out me in that last colony."
"But he broke you, Seiro. Then that monster had to beat you into the shape of his missions so you could go out again. That period was--- ... it took a lot out of you." Lithe frowned, lowering his ears as he looked concerned for me.
I turned away from him and over to the bag. "... I know it did. I know. It's... I don't know. I just know they're not like him. I wanna hope they're not." I turned back to him. "Also it's been so long since I've heard my real name."
Lithe gave me a look. "I think it's about time to ditch the fake name and go with your real name."
"Can I keep the fake name as a nickname?" I asked, smiling innocently.
"... Whatever. Do what you must." He rolled his eyes.
"Thank you, big brother!" I chirped, grabbed the bag with my jaw, and hopped down. I waved to him with one of my tails before exiting the area. Okay, Plan B. Ditch Sparrow and join the group. It seems so easy all at once, but ... when I think about joining the group, all I feel is this voice shouting at me in the back of my head not to. "Sparrow gonna punish you! You will regret this!" Some shit like that. But ... I don't want to work for him anymore, I found my brother. I'm going to introduce him to the others, I... I want to continue hanging out with the group, and ... well ... be around him.
Ughh... Lithe gonna kill me when I tell him I have a crush on Castit. After I recovered from my depression after my ex dumped me, he scowled at me for not having another boyfriend. Well, Lithe. I can't control my attraction and you know what! Castit is a cute guy! I can't help it. I chuckled to myself, bouncing with excitement.

...
"Well ... here comes Neptune in all of his glory." I turned over to the voice, recognizing its owner. Verde. Oh god... I hate him so much. "How is that feaolk holding up? Is he suffering underneath your insults?" The light green-grey-haired man added on with a grin that I wanted to tear off of his face. "He better be. After I saw him with a dude, it's ..."
"Disgusting right?" I asked, dropping the bag in front of me and sitting down. "I know what you say in these situations. What are you really here for?"
"I'm just checking on our feaolk. I'm hoping he'll suffer for it." He said.
"... Well. Since you're so against gay people, new flash, you made me fall for him." I told him.
He stared down at me with a confused expression before it twisted into a disgusted one. "I didn't realize you were one of those freaks."
"I didn't know either in my teen years but here we are. All alive and awake." I said dully.
"You're disgusting."
"Yes, yes, yes. Loving another guy is disgusting, yes. I wanna hear all of your hate for me." I said, grinning up at him. And get your attention off of Castit, he doesn't need your attention. "I can't believe your views on me changed that fast when I say one thing you don't like. I wonder how does that work for you? Do you love losing friends who are different from the sexuality you are born with?"
"... Why should I answer your questions?" He hissed. "I shouldn't be answering them at all."
"That's fine I guess, it's just a question I have for all homophobic folks. I just wonder why they hate us so much." I said. "Well, good day, Verde. Hope you aren't trying to poison the food and water supply to get rid of us gays." I added on, grabbing the bag, turning, and rushing away.
"You... YOU LITTLE WOLF!"
I looked over my shoulder, shaking my head as I continued my way down the residential area. I'm not little, I'm a large wolf-fox hybrid. I chuckled to myself before realizing what I needed to do to join the group. Castit said I needed to be my true self, didn't he? Or ... prove myself to join the group. Well, I have flags for some who are a part of certain identities. I hope that one point for my requirements. The others are just things I need to reveal and ... that is gonna be hard to do. I think ... I'll reveal them to him first ... but once again, it's gonna be hard as it's a scary experience to go through.
I just hope he doesn't out me to the entire colony as the last one did.
I arrived in the residential area, bouncing over to the flying-like house. I call it that because it's made for flyers alike. I halted in front of the bridge and crossed it with careful steps. I stopped in front of the door, smiling widely before setting the bag down and putting a paw on it. I lifted it and knocked on it, sort of. I think I was slamming my paw on it rather than knocking on it. I lowered my paw and grabbed the bag, looking up with a patient smile, feeling my tails wag happily.
The door opened and I saw Purity first before seeing Carla poke her head in, "Oh. Hello Neptune. What--- ... Oh, what do you got here."
"Gifts!" I chirped.
Carla widened her eyes, "Gifts?"
"Well, for certain folks in this house," I said.
Carla nodded, letting Purity step to the side as she pushed the door wide open. "Come on in then." She turned and walked forward. I smiled warmly before walking inside. I was sort of skipping as I couldn't hold down my excitement anymore. I watched Purity close the door and followed me curiously. I turned to Carla who showed me the way upstairs. We arrived there as the others were in the cozy area. "Hey! We got a visitor!"
"Oh, who is it now?" Setchi called back as I skipped over to them.
"... The hell, Neptune?!" I heard Carla say. "Why are you skipping?"
"Oh? Was I skipping something on the floor?" I halted and turned towards her.
"..." She stared at me before sighing with annoyance. "YOU know what I'M TALKING ABOUT."
I chuckled and turned, jumping over and into the couch. I heard Bambi gasp as he turned towards me with curiosity in his eyes. "What's in the bag, Mr. Wolf?"
"Just some gifts, that's all." I smiled at him.
"Gifts? Did I hear correctly?" Setchi asked, sounding confused.
"Yep." I chirped, smiling at him.
"... What is going on with him?" Setchi asked Carla.
"I don't know, he's oddly happy, which we rarely see in him," Carla said, staring at me. "Too happy almost."
"Sorry if it seems strange," I said.
"No, no, I like this Neptune better than the last one," Paradise said, walking over to me. "So, what were these gifts for?"
I dropped the bag into their hands before shifting into my humanoid form. They let me grab it back and I opened it up and pulled out the flags. I set them on the armchair, all hanging out. "Ooooo, they're colorful!" Paradise said.
"... I have seen these before. In that Fruity Times book."
"GSRM Book." I corrected Setchi.
"GSRM Book." Setchi rolled his eyes. "Which one is which because I forgot."
I grabbed the asexual one, standing and walking over to him. "This one is asexual," I said, handing it to him.
He widened his eyes and looked up at me. His jaw dropped slightly as he was surprised. "... THIS is for me? AFTER I insulted you constantly, you gifted me this?"
"You didn't trust me so ... I didn't really count it towards our relation," I said as he grabbed it from me.
"Well, I love it." He said, giving me a smile. I smiled widely as I turned and grabbed the non-binary flag. "I love this Neptune a whole lot!" I heard him add on. "But you may be still suspicious with that happy attitude.
"So you still don't trust me?" I asked.
"... Yeah. I still don't." He huffed behind me.
"That's fine. You still have time to trust me or not." I said, handing it to Paradise. "Would you ... call yourself non-binary?"
They blinked, grabbing the flag and staring down at it. "Non-binary is ... something ... not female or male?"
"Yeah." I nodded.
They smiled and glanced up at me. "Thank you. I will enjoy this quite a lot." They added before walking back to their spot.
"Do I get one?" Carla asked.
"... I dunno. What identity did you go with?" I asked, grabbing the aromantic one. I turned over to Sutato who was looking at me with curious eyes.
"... I ... don't know. What are the different types of identities out there?" Carla asked.
"... Don't choose one to pretend to be one, please. Just go with the one that fits you perfectly and the way you feel. We have Gay, Bi, Pan, Ace, Aro, Omni, Trans, Non-binary and more." I said, walking over to Sut and holding out the aro flag to him. "This is the aromantic flag."
Sutato stared down at it, grabbing it and staring at it. He slowly nodded, gripping it tightly as he looked up at me with a small smile. "Thaanks."
I nodded and turned towards the flags as Carla was eyeing them down. "What's the blue one?"
"That's mine and it's the gay flag for men," I said, grabbing the pan flag and staring down at it.
"Oh... YOU HAVE A PRETTY FLAG." Carla huffed with jealousy written on her face before replacing the expression with confusion. "I don't know what I feel with. I think ... I'll go with your suggestion of picking out dates for me."
I snorted, "Well, I'm glad you could consider it." I glanced over at her.
"What is that last flag for?" She asked.
"... Castit. But since he isn't out yet, I might as well keep it until he is." I answered.
"Oh. What is it?"
"The Pan flag, the one where people don't care about genders all that much. But some do." I answered.
"That fits Castit perfectly from the way he described his romantic attraction last time." Setchi pointed out.
"You don't say." I shook my head. "But I'm going to keep it until he is out."
"And what if he's not pan?" Carla asked. "Will you let me have it?"
I stared at her as she smiled nervously. "I like its colors, not because of the identity. I just like its colors." She said.
"... I'll think about it," I spoke, putting it back into the bag, as well as my flag. I tied the bag up and sighed quietly. Okay ... what else is next?
"How should I wear this? On my head?" Setchi asked, placing his flag on his head.
Paradise snorted, "Find a small pole and hang it there, you dork."
"Mr. Wolf. Can I get a pretty flag?" I turned down to Bambi, who looked up at me with puppy dog eyes. Oh ... god. I don't know if ...- He intensed his stare up at me as I frowned, drooping my ears. I sighed.
"Alright, you can get one next time," I said, crouching down to meet his eyes.
Bambi smiled brightly, swung his arms around me, and hugged me tightly. "Yay! Thank you!" I hugged him back as he bounced up and down on the couch. He released me as I got up to my feet. "Wanna guess what sign language word I'm speaking?" He asked me, doing some signs I don't know.
"... Uh ... I don't think I'm going to guess all of them," I told him.
"I'll make it a fun game!" He smiled up at me.
I softened my eyes and sighed, sitting down on the couch. I crossed my legs and turned towards him. "Alrighty then, rookie. What do you got?"
Bambi beamed and turned towards Sutato who gave him the sign language book. "I got lots!" He flipped through some pages and landed on one, putting it on the table and turning towards me. "Be prepared!"
I chuckled and prepared.

...
"So... explain to me why you have freeze part of your house." I turned my head over to my brother's voice, who was currently in his wolf-fox form, but he looks more like a fox rather than a wolf-like like mine was. It was evening and the darkness was creeping in slowly.
"So I can find it again. I'm terrible when it comes to finding my own stuff." I answered.
"You always had that within you, little bro." Lithe said, turning towards me. "Do you have any roommates?"
"Yep. You might meet him if he's not in his room." I answered, walking forward and onto the bridge. Please don't be in your room, I know how much you told me your nightmares hurt you, but please don't. It's not healthy.
"Is this one of the first of your friends?"
"... Yes? I'm not so sure if he's my first friend." I told him, holding a bag in my jaw. Last time he said we weren't friends but I think that's a lie when he messed with me during that staircase scene. But it's fine if he doesn't consider me as one if he's not ready to accept me as one. ... I hope tonight I can try and ... tell him all of it.
"Well, if he's not, then he's your roommate either way." He told me.
"Yeah." I nodded, opening the door with one of my tails when we neared. I walked inside and turned towards my brother, walking backwards as he walked inside. He turned and closed the door with his own tail. I smiled before halting and turning toward the familiar person in the mini-library room.
"... I see you're back," Castit spoke, lifting his head up from the book. "And ... you got a bag."
"Yeah. I do." I smiled before turning and walking down the hallway and over to my room, which was upstairs. I placed the bag on the bed and turned, running out of the room and downstairs. I returned to the mini-library room and saw my brother inside it.
"Now that you're back at last, who is this?" Castit asked me, eyeing him down. I walked inside and sat by him.
"He's my brother."
"Your big brother you mean." Lithe spoke, looking around the room. "And dang, I didn't realize you were so like me. You have a whole collection of books!"
I rolled my eyes, turning my head away from him. "Go look if you want." I saw him shift into his humanoid form and darted for the first bookshelf on the far right.
"... I see ... he's a bookworm."
"Yep," I said. "I'm not much one myself. I only collect these books to get to know the world a lot more."
"I didn't ask, but ... that's interesting." Castit nodded slowly, staring at me weirdly.
I smiled nervously up at him, flickering one of my ears. I shifted into my humanoid form as I crossed my legs, placing my hands on my lap. "Am I acting too weird for your senses?"
"... You're oddly happy and I really want to know what's going on," Castit said, closing the book and moving it aside. "What made you this way? Why aren't you ... hiding your true self?"
"Oh please, you were the one who asked if I was going to show my true self. Wouldn't you be happy then?" I asked, giving him a look of 'what else do you want?'
"No... because you haven't told me anything of your suspicious ways." He said, returning the look back at me but it wasn't the same one as mine.
"Oh ... that ... well, I'm willing to share if you want to hear," I said, frowning as I drooped my ears.
He blinked and stared at me, looking puzzled. "... You'll understand when I tell you all of it," I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked, looking concerned. "You don't seem too pleased about it."
"Yes ... but I must tell. Or else ... someone might force me to say it all out at once. And I don't want to collapse into a panic attack when it happens." I said.
"IF you even DARE to attack him for it. I won't hesitate to kill you myself, "roommate."" I heard Lithe threaten Castit from behind me.
"I won't!" Castit put his hands up with a shocked expression. "I'm quite open to those things."
Lithe squinted his eyes, staring at him intensely with books in his arms. "Good. I'm watching you." He turned back to his books and went back to his work.
I chuckled quietly, turning back to Castit. "It's so weird having him back."
"... Really? It's weird?" He stared at me with a slight curiosity in his eyes. "How so?"
I cleared my throat, opening my mouth ot begin. "Well, it all started with us being with our parents. We were one big happy family. Though we had our differences, our parents made sure we could get the best life that they couldn't get when they were young. One day, my brother and I decided to venture-"
"YOU FORCED ME OUT OF THE DEN WHEN I TOLD YOU TO WAIT FOR OUR PARENTS." Lithe shouted as I squealed, snorting.
"LET ME FINISH," I shouted back. I heard him grumble before turning back to Castit who was raising his brows at our shouting. "As I was saying, one day ... I 'FORCED' my brother out of the den when our parents were hunting. Now I know I was a stubborn little brother, but I knew my big brother had my back if any animal dared to attack us. Well ... I didn't expect humis to be near and surround us in seconds. They were about to kill us until they realized we were both different from regular animals. So they captured us and took us far away from our home."
"They took us somewhere hidden, knocked us out, and then woke up the next in front of a tall ... scary figure. We both thought he was a human but no... he wasn't. He ..." I trailed off, frowning as I felt fear rising within me.
"He was a Dark Elemental who had black scleras and creepy-ass red-dotted eyes." My brother finished my sentence. "There you go, brother. You sure you can finish the rest?"
"... I... I-I'm sure." I nodded, gulping down my fear. "He was that. He greeted us with a twisted smile that ... I seem to ... can't get out of my head. He told the humis all around us to collar us. I didn't know what that meant at first but when I saw the aftermath of them putting a collar on my brother, I immediately begged for them to release us or at least ... leave him be. They continued to ignore me but I kept on begging and soon reached a point where I would do anything for them to get us freed or ... something."
"The Dark Elemental didn't take that so he ordered the humis to collar me anyway. However, the use of the collar didn't work on me somehow. So eventually, he had to take my offer up, using me for one of his ... playthings before moving onto missions that worked outside of the base that he raised me in---"
"THAT MONSTER DID NOT RAISE YOU." Lithe hissed. "HOW DARE YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!"
I frowned, holding my hands together.
"Shut up would you?" Castit told him off. "Let him finish before you go off on him."
"Fine. But I stand what I go by." Lithe growled.
Castit sighed and turned back to me. "Can you continue?"
I nodded quickly. "It ... feels like he raised me Lithe because he was using ... methods to keep me close to him. But ... I did something that made him push me away from him and I knew that, after that movement, I had to figure out some way to break you out and free you. So, when I still had missions that were given to me around the base, I tried to look for any cracks and anything to break you free. But once Sparrow knew what I was doing ... he ... punished me. Not going into details because that traumatized me."
"After that, I was sent on spy missions where my only task was to spy on colonies who rescue The Folks. For ... six years I completed his missions and some of those rewards allowed me to see my brother where the other rewards ... were ... uh ... back to that ... uh .. plaything method. Though ... two years ago, Sparrow disable me to see my brother and said that I needed to work harder to see him again. So I did, like the mind-controlled zombie I was."
"But now seeing the truth that Sparrow never had Lithe in the first place ... makes me kind of mad but ... I can't really do anything about it. So in conclusion. I ... was a spy for him." I finished, looking down at the ground.
"... Tell me what is a Dark Elemental first off..., secondly ... you were a spy for this ... Sparrow guy?" Castit asked.
"A Dark Elemental is a living being where it takes the life forms out of everything. It drains their energies and leaves them for good. For dead, at least. But they can also control the darkness and shadows of others. As well as summoning dark clouds." I explained. "And yeah ... I was. Sparrow is ... the main target that keeps sending out these humis squads to attack colonies like these."
"... You don't seem like a spy to me anymore since you're doing the opposite of what you were supposed to do." He told me.
"That's because I declared today that I wasn't one anymore," I said.
"No, there were times before that you didn't even do what a spy did. A spy never interacts with--- well, they sometimes do so, but they never get close to someone and suddenly ... becoming friends with them to the point they can't let go of that person." He pointed out.
"He has a point, little brother." Lithe called. "You're a terrible spy."
"You don't say, after the last one." I hissed, turning back to Castit.
"The last spy?"
"No, no... I ... uh ..."
"His ex-boyfriend out him when he told him the truth about this all." Lithe said.
"Stop answering for me," I said, turning to glare at him.
"I'm just giving you a push, little bro." He said, looking up at me from the book he was reading.
I shook my head and turned back to Castit who slowly nodded. "Oh. So, should I do the same?"
I frowned, drooping my ears. "... If you want."
"Hell no, I'm not!" He said which shocked me. "Why would I ever out you for this? You were forced."
"But I gave information to the enemy! Surely I deserve some sort of punishment." I frowned.
"Okay. Since you think you deserve some punishment." Castit turned and grabbed the same book he was reading before and hit me with it. "There. Is that better?"
I rubbed my forehead, frowning. "... No."
"I'm not going further than this, Neptune," Castit said, giving me a stern look. "I'm not going there with you."
"... But..."
"Accept his invitation, little bro. He's doing the dream you always told me." Lithe said.
"But it feels too real." I whimpered.
"Yeah, yeah, I got that feeling too with my sister. But once you fade into the real truth of it, you'll know It'll be worth it later down the line." Castit told me, putting the book down.
I stared at him with a frown before nodding. "Okay, but ... what do I do with the others?"
"I'll ... help you with that. Setchi might be quick to kill you." He said, looking nervous. "Paradise ... may question you. Carla ... might try to understand you and Sutato ... uh."
"Might listen to his guts since ... last time he defended me. Along with Bambi too. That little bug is so adorable." I chuckled at what happened today.
"... Who is Bambi and what age is he?" Lithe asked.
"Bambi is a child of 7 years old," Castit told him.
"Ah ... I didn't know you were great with kids, Seiro." Lithe said, saying my real name. "And yes, Mr. Roommate. That is his real name. Neptune is a fake name, but since he wants it to be a nickname, it shall be a nickname."
"... You are the worse when letting me speak my own things," I grumbled.
"I'm just getting them out so you won't forget it." He told me.
I growled before turning over to Castit who had wide eyes. "Seiro?"
"Yes ... that is my real name." I nodded, smiling nervously.
"You don't need to be so nervous anymore." He told me softly.
"... Well ... it happens," I said, shrugging. "... I'm afraid my past mistakes may come running close to me again."
"They won't." Lithe said, appearing right beside me. "Any trauma that is haunting you won't come and kill you. You're stronger than that."
"... I know that!" I glared at him. "You don't need to remind me." I rolled my eyes, turning towards Castit who looked sad. I perked my ears, looking concerned. "You okay, Castit?"
He looked up at us, "... I'm fine. Just something comes up, that's all."
"You sure?"
"I'm sure." He nodded slowly.
You're not sure, I can see it through you. But I won't force it out of you if ... you're not ready. I nodded before turning over to Lithe who stared at him. "And you." He opened his mouth, glaring at Castit.
"... What?"
"If you have any trauma, don't let you affect you either. Infact, everyone's trauma of the past shouldn't allow it to affect their work or their current self." Lithe told him. "You're lucky you have my blushy brother to support you."
"WHAT?!"
"You don't notice yourself blushing?" Lithe turned to me, eyeing me down.
I panicked as I blinked, "I'm blushing? FOR WHAT?!"
"Damn, you're really blindsided."
"OH, shut up." I hissed at him.
"You should really control your emotions ... it's making me ... wish this roommate wasn't alive." Lithe darkened his face as I panicked.
"OKAY. OUT THE DOOR!" I shouted at him. "You've done enough threatening for today!"
"JEEZ, I wasn't going to do it-"
"OUT. THE. DOOR."
"Oh relax, Ne--- Seiro." Castit snorted. "I think he was fine. It's how his brotherly senses were. He's worried about his little brother." He smiled, which made my heart jump out of my chest.
I squeaked before getting up and rushing out of the room. Okay, I need a time-out. Lithe can stay for all he wants. But I need a time out, I didn't realize I was blushing. Gosh, I just let the excitement run out free today, didn't I? I sighed and leaned against the couch. I rubbed my cheeks as I realized how warm they were. Yep, I'm blushing. Why ... why did Castit say anything about them?! I could have hidden it so my brother didn't realize it. But ... does that mean he knows? I don't wanna ask him that.
I want him to come to his own terms and ... realize it. Maybe then, things will be better than the past.
