_ Setchi _
Aloe glared down at all of us, trying to look tough as she walked around us. "I shouldn't be in this," Winter spoke out.
"But you are a part of this, right? Or is it a lie you pull?"
"I didn't pull anything! I just want to go back to my training." Winter hissed, turning to glare at her.
"An icolk training, for what? Trying to join to help defend the colony?" Aloe asked though it sounded like she was mocking her instead.
"None of your business." Winter hissed.
"Just let her go, she's not relating to us at all," Paradise shouted, glaring at her.
"Please ... this is ... pointless, Aurora," I told Aurora. "We didn't do anything to Purity, we just put up with her when she was the one who disrespected us in the first place."
Aurora slowly looked over at me, looking like she didn't trust my words but she softened her eyes. "But I cannot let you guys go unpunished."
"WHAT IS THERE TO PUNISH US FOR?!" I asked, breathing out smoke as she flinched and stepped away. "Why the hell would we cause trouble on our first week into the colony when we know it's gonna kick us out? We're just trying to settle into this colony and be peaceful with everyone instead of trying to cause trouble. But instead, Purity had to worsen that and decide that we don't deserve peace and that we deserve eternal suffering. For the last time, we didn't do anything. Why is that so hard to grasp when you don't have evidence."
"And do not believe a single word that your daughter told you. That is not evidence." I hissed, spotting her mouth move before I stated that.
"He is right, Aurora. You know that." Akakku nodded his head in agreement.
"..." Aurora turned over to Sutato before glancing back at me. "You're worried about Sutato?" I guessed, folding my arms. "Let me ask you this. Did anyone report you that some ... demonic waste seep through and cause sickness or anything that demons do to this colony this first week?"
"... No, there haven't been any reports on that," Aurora answered, narrowing her brows.
"If there hasn't, why are you still worried that Sutato might cause harm?" I asked. I opened my mouth again before she could even answer my question, "Is it because he looks like a demon? As I said before with our first greetings he might be an artificial demon who truly doesn't have the true powers of a demon. Along with the behavior of one too---" I elbowed someone who grabbed my neck, I shoved them away, glaring at Aloe as she glared down at me.
"You should know when to shut up."
"Don't you guys have enchantments to know when someone is lying or not? Or are you guys just not using those enchantments because you think they're completely lying without using your powers?" Castit asked, pulling Paradise over to Sutato before walking forward.
"You guys are lying---"
"Yeah, I know that is the answer from you Aloe. But mom?" Castit turned towards her. "Are you really going to continue listening to Aloe's words?"
Aurora stared at him, frowning slightly. "But what if she's telling the truth?"
"She's not." He said coldly. "If she would have told a truth, then she wouldn't do all of this shit towards us." He turned his head over to us, asking, "What did she say to you guys that made this meeting happen?"
"Wait, you have no part of it?" Aurora asked.
"No. I know nothing of what has happened this week." Castit answered, and gazed back at his mother.
"Aloe told us to have Purity in our group and she threatened to do harm to Bambi if we refused to have her in our group," I responded, jumping away from Aloe when she tried to reach out for me.
"Aloe ..." Aurora turned towards her sister.
"You're really going to believe this folk?" Aloe asked, walking over to her. "He's lying. They harmed your daughter!"
"You're the one who's fucking lying." Castit hissed, glaring at Aloe as she glared back.
"Believe us for once, Aurora," Akakku told her. "Aloe's has been trying to take over while you weren't looking."
A long silence was there as the leader decides on what to do. Aurora turned towards him before turning back to her sister. "... You all are dismissed, except for my council leaders."
I widened my eyes as Castit turned towards his mother, looking surprised too. Soon the rest of the group widened their eyes in shock as they nodded. Aloe glared at her sister, hissing as she turned and stormed off. Aurora narrowed her eyes, "Trap." She spoke as I turned over and saw Aloe freeze in place. I blinked in awe, turning back to her who turned towards Carla. "Release."
Carla gasped for air as she sighed in relief, turning towards us as she widened her eyes at Aloe frozen in place. I walked over to her and smiled before pulling her over to the others. I could see that Winter already left us. That's fine, I suppose. I turned over to Castit who stood there, unbelievably shocked. I turned and walked over, poking his shoulder as he flinched and turned towards me. "Come on!"
He slowly nodded and walked back over to the group. Soon I led the way out of the massive platform and back over to the residential lobby area. "In our home, where we could relax--- ..." I paused, staring at the giant wolf I see in the background. The giant wolf noticed my stare and padded forward. "... I don't know if I trust you."
"Yeah ... you sure we can trust you?" Carla asked the wolf.
"I'm sure you can." The giant wolf said.
Carla narrowed her eyes as Paradise spoke up, "Let's forget about this problem and go into the house to explain. The wolf can stay on the first floor---"
"Or how about not following us." Castit glared down at it.
"Aww, am I not that trustworthy to you guys?" The giant wolf asked, drooping its ears.
"We just dealt with Purity who possibly made us believe that some folks may be like her," I said.
"Eh, more like a copy of Aloe." The giant wolf spoke, looking disgusted. "I won't be like that, just give me a chance as Castit did."
"Don't bring my name into this!"
"It's true..."
"Fine," I grunted, turning and walking over to the third house on the right side of the platform. I crossed the bridge and opened the door, allowing the folks inside. I padded forward and sighed, turning around to see the group enter. Paradise guided Sutato over to the couch and sat him there while sitting next to him to calm him down. He looked like he was about to have another shutdown. Bambi bounced over to help. Carla was in awe at the place, swirling around and checking out the place. Castit was staring at the place, blinking with surprise as the wolf beside him was doing the same. I blinked in awe when one of the wolf's tails grabbed the doorknob and closed it behind itself.
I shook my head before turning and leaning on the couch's back part before staring at the spiral staircase. "Okay, I'm fixing some tea for everyone!" Paradise announced. "Bambi, you go settle everyone upstairs." They told him before getting up and walking over to the kitchen. Bambi nodded and turned toward Sutato who huddled quietly. "Sut, did you know Setchi is a dragon?"
"WHAT?!" I shouted, making everyone in the room jump as Sutato turned towards me with wide eyes. "I AM NOT!" I glared at Bambi who huffed.
"But ... but dragons blow smoke out of their mouths! You clearly are!"
"I am not! It's just an effect I like to do when I'm mad!" I huffed, glaring him down.
"... I hope you realize that I have a built-in 24/7 liar detector that can tell if you're lying or not," Castit whispered to me as I squealed, jumping 20 feet into the air and turning towards him. He glared at me as he dropped the glare and leaned against the couch. "Why are you lying about your race?"
I frowned slightly, lowering my tail to the floor. I noticed everyone was gathering around as I sighed, "Maybe because I don't want to let everyone know ... that I was a gonolk."
Bambi gasped and climbed over the couch to me, sitting on the couch's back, and smiled, "I love dragons! I once saw one flying above the rabbit colony and everyone panicked and thought that the dragon was going to eat us. But I knew it wasn't. It was too far up in the sky to even see us!"
I blinked at him, quite surprised as I turned over to the others before getting grabbed and pulled away from the couch. "You're a Gonolk?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" Carla shouted, shaking me repeatedly while jumping up and down as I was completely confused.
"... This is not the reaction I was ... expecting," I mumbled.
"What were you expecting?"
"Frightened expressions," I muttered.
"Gonolks ... are terrifying creatures," Paradise said, walking over to us. "... but they're rare to come by."
"Dragons don't even have humanoid forms!" Bambi chirped.
"Indeed they don't." The giant wolf said. "Their true forms are always their dragon forms. So this tells us that you're a dragon shifter--- which is one of the extremely rare creatures in this world."
"OH MY GOD, SETCHI!" I flinched from Carla's shout as she hugged me tightly. "YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS RIGHT?"
"Shut it with your shouting." I hissed, lashing my tail before pushing her away gently.
"It means we can set Aloe on fire!"
I snorted, "I don't want to show my form all of a sudden and scare half of the colony away. And I don't want to shift back into my form since ... it's quite bigger than this house."
"Awwww." She huffed.
I stuck my tongue at her before turning over to the couch potatoes. Sutato was peeking over the couch with curious eyes as Bambi was telling him about what happened. I snickered quietly before walking over to the two. "dragon?" Sutato asked, glancing up at me.
"... uh, yeah. I am." I nodded. "And I'd like to keep this a secret from ... everyone besides us, I'd like it that way," I added on before turning my gaze at Castit. "I don't want your aunt to know about my race."
"To be honest ... you could look like a gonolk to her already," Castit spoke, tilting his head. "And she's just keeping quiet until she snatches you at the right moment."
I frowned, lowering my tail, "Even if she tries she can't go against a dragon shifter. especially me."
"... Neptune, what is a dragon shifter?" Castit asked, turning towards the wolf. "Besides the whole shifting."
The giant wolf sat down, flickering its tails, "A dragon shifter is a powerful being that has all sorts of powers--- well ... some powers. Those powers can range from shapeshifting, and immunity to certain powers from others, new ones and old ones. A dragon shifter can have multiple powers and he might have some of those powers."
"Then why do you think she can't go against you?" Castit asked, turning back to me.
"It's because I'm immune to enchantments." I grinned as I watched his eyes go wide. "Aloe's an enchanter, right? So ... she can't harm me with her enchantments."
"... I didn't know that is possible." Castit looked shocked.
"It is!" The giant wolf chirped, nodding its head.
"There's a lot out there that you might not know, Castit." I smiled widely, folding my arms.
"I don't know everything." Castit glared at me. "Or ... wait--- let me correct myself. I don't really ... know anything."
"No one really knows anything either," I said, lashing my tail. "We just have to learn it on our own or from other people. SPEAKING OF THAT--- I wanna know how to read!" I chirped, bouncing up and down. "So I can read Sutato's sentences."
Castit dropped his glare and snorted, "We can do that in the next days."
Bambi gasped, "Does that mean all of us can learn to read!"
"And write." The giant wolf added in.
"And write!"
"Sure, if you want," Castit said, smiling a little.
"help. can help." Sutato spoke, smiling alongside Bambi.
"That would be grateful of you." Castit nodded to him.
"... I can ... help with some books to aid you..." The giant wolf slowly spoke as I turned over to it.
Castit did the same as he raised his brows. "Or you can help too."
The giant wolf perked up before nodding its head. "You'll have to deal with my teasing then~"
Castit glared down at it before trying to kick it which it dodged and snorted. "Don't make me change my mind." Castit hissed.
"Alright, teacher." The giant wolf grinned. I swear ... I feel like that wolf was doing more than just teasing. I shook my head slightly before holding my hands together and turning towards Castit.
"So, when are we starting?"

_ Sutato _
"Fluffy!"
I blinked at the voice, turning around to take a look at my surroundings. I was in a garden, sheltered by a beautiful tree. I turned over to two familiar caolk-feaolk children who were sitting next to each other. I tilted my head, crouching down next to them to hear their conversations.
"Fluffy! Don't cry! Those kids don't know what they're saying!" The one who had a pink shirt was comforting his twin brother who wore a purple shirt.
"But ... speak funny? Don't? ... I?" The purple shirt boy whimpered, hugging onto his brothers, almost clinging sort of. He was shaking and looked like he would break down, similar to how I was with my shutdowns. Poor kid.
"You don't! Like I said! Those kids don't know what they're saying!" The pink shirt boy said, pulling his brother up to his feet. "You are perfect the way you are!" He continued to shout at him.
The purple shirt boy sniffed before blinking, "Can no shout face?"
"You done crying?" The pink shirt boy asked, rubbing his shoulders.
"N ... n-no." The purple shirt boy sniffed.
"Well let's get papa on those kids! He once kicked those kids' asses---"
"NO." The purple-shirt boy smacked his brother in the face. "BAD WORD."
The pink shirt boy laughed and fell to the ground, holding their stomach. "QLFKH! Don't take after f-f-f-father! Bad words! Bad words!" The purple shirt boy said, stomping his foot on the ground, which the name was blurred out for me. I blinked, tilting my head. Why was it blurred out?
I blinked as my surroundings were disappearing, making me assume I was waking up. I don't know why those dreams are occurring but I like seeing them. It might be telling me something but ... I don't know what it's telling me. Maybe I could tell it to the others. I don't know.
I stretched out my limbs, waking up as I let out a yawn. I sat up and turned over, blinking at Bambi who opened his eyes and glanced up at me. "You're awake! Finally! The group is waiting for you upstairs! Well ... they're not but they are! They didn't ... want to wake you up when you were stressed out ... but ... you can come up there, right?"
I tilted my head and looked over at the spiral staircase. Yeah ... these days have been fun and happy with everyone getting along really well. The first day of teaching the group to read and write was difficult but we tried to make it all fun. Paradise was quite good at writing the words she learned. Bambi ... Bambi is getting there. He keeps writing dragon over and over and it's adorable. He apparently loves the word "dragon" and loves Setchi so much. Speaking of him, Setchi is learning quite well and he tries to help Bambi learn more words than just dragon.
He succeeds on the third day, and on the third day ... something interesting happened!
The giant wolf that was helping us and being one of ... the weird teachers, had a second form which surprised all of us. Well ... except for Castit and I assumed he has seen the wolf's humanoid form before. It was interesting that Neptune was another hybrid other than the two hybrids children I saw in my dreams. He was part wololk and part foxolk. He explained some parts of himself--- such as the multiple tails. It was very nice and he ... I think grew closer to us as friends.
I still don't know why he teases us but I think that's his way of befriending people.
Also, I don't know what happened to that council leader during these past few days. I didn't seem to bother to ask any of them as ... I don't like that council leader.
"Are we going?!" Bambi asked, getting up to his feet.
I nodded my head to him, getting up and grabbing my book and my writing tool. I walked over to the spiral staircase, looking over my shoulder as I watched Bambi climb up them. I followed him and arrived on the second floor. I looked over to my right to the hang-out area. I watched Bambi run over to the others as the others greeted him before turning over to my presence. I walked over slowly, holding my book close to my chest, and halted next to the sofa.
Oh. I forgot to say something. I learned some words from the two, helping me with some sentences or ... for ... example--- the two same kids in my dreams are called twins. I may have said the word before but ... I don't remember thinking about it.
"How was your nap, Sut?" Carla asked, smiling as usual.
I gave a thumbs up to her before smiling as well. I turned over to the others, seeing Paradise writing something on a piece of paper while Castit was sitting next to them, watching in quiet. Bambi hop over to Setchi and jumped into his lap. Setchi complained but allowed the kid to stay in his lap. Neptune looked like he kept to himself, sitting in his humanoid form with a book in his hands on one of the sofa chairs. I watched his tails wave on their own as they got me distracted by their movements.
"... You're worse than me, Sut." I heard Carla say, blinking out of the trance and over to her. "We both get distracted over the simplest things!"
I shrugged before taking a seat on the sofa. "Maybe something is more interesting than just learning about WORDS," Setchi grunted. I turned over to him and I gave a small smile.
"Jeez, I guess you can just read picture books instead---"
"SHUT IT WOLOLK." Setchi hissed at Neptune who just snorted.
"YEAH!" Bambi tried to hiss along with him.
Neptune looked up from his book and stared down at the child, "... I'm not so sure if that child knows what he's hissing at for."
"YOU KEEP TEASING DRAGON! STOP IT." Bambi stood up and walked onto the medium-sized sofa, glaring down at him.
"Oh. So you--- AKDF" Neptune was smacked by Castit from using a book.
"Leave the kid alone." Castit glared down at him. Neptune rubbed his head and looked up, he soon grinned as he perked his ears. "Or what? What are you gonna do?"
"Oh my god, that is the fifth time I see you doing your "sweet" talks. STOP IT." Setchi hissed, lashing his tail.
"You mean lovely talks," Carla commented.
"NO. WHA--- HOW CAN YOU SEE THAT AS THAT?!" Setchi hissed, glaring at her. Why is Setchi so mad over how Neptune talks?
"Something is wrong with you." Paradise eyed Carla, looking up from their writing.
"What?" Carla said, smiling nervously as her cheeks were red. Is she embarrassed about something?
Castit slowly turned towards her, shaking her head, "You know ... I will never understand how your attraction can be so fucked up."
"HEY! I like to find people attractive. IT'S NOT MY FAULT I'm like THIS!" Carla huffed, folding her arms.
"You find me attractive and yet I continue to "harass" your friends ... I think Castit is right on this one," Neptune said.
"DON'T AGREE WITH HIM." Carla huffed.
"Oh? Was I supposed to agree with someone who's into me? No. I don't think I will." Neptune said, shaking his head.
"WHAT?!" Carla shouted, becoming completely red.
"As I said, I don't know how you can fall for someone based on their looks," Castit said, turning and walking back over to Paradise.
"It just happens. I'm sure you felt it before." Carla spoke.
"No. I've never fallen in love with another person," Castit answered. I tilted my head, confused about what they were talking about.
"Good. Keep out of that range." Paradise told him. "It's very horrible when you fall in love with someone."
"IT'S NOT!" Carla protested. "It's actually nice when you like someone else."
Paradise looked disgusted for a moment before sighing in defeat, "I suppose it is ... but only when you find the right person for you."
"I don't think that will happen to me," Castit said.
"That's a lie," Setchi spoke as he received a glare from Castit. "You don't know your future so you can't really tell if it will happen or not."
"What he said!" Carla huffed, glaring at Castit. "You may never know if you find a girl really attractive."
"Or a guy."
"Or a--- wait what." Carla blinked with confusion.
"Or any gender in existence or ... just no gender in existence," Castit added on.
"No ... what?"
"You're confusing us Castit." Paradise commented.
"I don't find genders attractive," Castit said.
"Well ..." Carla trailed off, looking a little lost. "Who do you find attractive or how do you find something attractive."
"... The person," Castit said after a moment of thinking. "For their insides, personality, and who they are, but ... I might get over that and return to being straight."
"... Ya see, I never got over my gayness because I accepted the fact that I was gay. You shouldn't do the same thing to yourself, Castit." Neptune said.
Castit slowly turned towards Neptune, staring at him for a moment, "... Is that ... no. Nevermind. I don't know ... I don't ... I ... With the current mindset that I have, I don't want to go with any label but I know that it will change and I'll just become straight again."
"Do you know the definition of being straight, Castit?" Setchi asked. "It means you like the opposite of your gender. You don't seem to be like that at all."
"Even if it seems like that, I know it will change," Castit said.
"... Okay, don't come running to us when you experience a crush on someone ... familiar." Neptune shrugged, picking up his book again.
"love?" I asked and all heads turned towards me. "question?"
I saw some of their eyes go wide as they looked surprised. "You don't know what ... love is, Sutato?" Carla asked.
"yesh," I spoke, nodding my head.
"You do?"
"No."
"Okay." Setchi nodded to himself. "Well ... love is complicated."
"It's best if you experience it," Carla said, waving her hand in the air as most turn their attention to their work. I frowned slightly before blinking at the voice of the wololk humanoid's.
"It feels like you like something very much and you want that thing in your life. For example, you love your book very much which you want in your life." Neptune began. "So, for this "love" for another person, you want that person in your life. Though love can be ... different all sorts of love. Such as friend love, pet love, family love, and romantic love. But those are just the common ones that I know. Experiencing romantic love--- is what they are talking about it's something you need to ... feel romantic feelings. And feeling romantic feelings is ... painful. It's a very nice feeling but it hurts when you lose it and ... well, heartbroken begins."
I stared at him as I looked at everyone who stared wide-eyed at him. "Okay, you know a lot of about this stuff than we do," Carla commented.
"You don't say after his whole love story in one go," Castit spoke.
"Please, I would love to have a better love story than my last one." Neptune grinned widely, staring at Castit.
"Fuck off."
"LANGUAGE," Setchi shouted at Castit while Neptune snorted before laughing.
"I'm going downstairs to cool off." Castit hissed, walking away from the hangout area.
"Aww, I made our special feaolk mad." Neptune snickered.
"I think you might make him madder in the future if you keep trying to flirt with him," Carla said, grabbing pieces of paper.
"I'm just teasing, I'm not really flirting with him ... but ... I think I might just do that so good idea, Carla."
"NO!" Carla hissed. "IT WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA."
"At this point, ignore the wololk and continue with your work. He's just gonna be more annoying as time goes on." Setchi said.
"Good idea, Setchi." Carla nodded before going back to her stuff. I blinked as Neptune shrugged and went back to reading his book. I tilted my head before turning over to Setchi.
I don't know what just happened but I'm going to help my friends learn some words. And write them.
