The hatch springs open and Bernard Sullivan is the first to jump into action. He darts to the purple trail of flames in the sky which read off as a trail left by War Hawk.
Through his helmet, Bernard's communication system links to Supremeo's universal communication system. He tells the droid, "On my way Supremeo! Sorry for the late arrival! You'll have company in this fight soon. Hopefully, another fighter is enough to bring Victor back to us."
The reply from Supremeo comes in. He says to Bernard, "Your assistance is appreciated, my friend. Especially now since the massive ship hauling the entire fleet of golden dragons seems to only be focusing on us! I don't mean to complain, but We are reaching a disadvantage point where the numbers will be too much for all our allies to handle. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but where is the rest of the backup?"
As soon as Supremeo says this he hears the tides of battle changing below him. Golden dragons are being destroyed by the dozens. Below him Supremeo sees Zachary, Erik, Ryan, and Rainer charging through the Golden dragons with pirates guarding their blindside.
Supremeo then hears Bernard telling him, "Sorry Supremeo. I rushed out a little bit too early. But the backup that's arrived should be more than enough to even the odds!" Supremeo looks in the distance at the battle that his friends are currently locked in. And sees for himself that Bernard is right. With the pirate King and his brother leading the charge. They leave a trail of mayhem loud and disruptive enough for their allies to regroup and rejoin in the fight. Seeing this brings Supremeo's worries at ease. He smirks and puts all his focus back into his fight with War Hawk.
As this is happening Bernard Sullivan has quietly reached Supremeo's whereabouts. Through his borrowed armor he scopes out the scene focusing on Supremeo and War Hawk's fight specifically. He aims his armored gauntlet which turns into an arm cannon and aims it towards the battling droids.
Bernard charges a blast as he waits for the right moment to strike. Then, he sees it!
Supremeo hits War Hawk with a charged blast from his cannon. Only to be surprised by a counterattack. As the blast heads towards War Hawk, To Supremeo's Surprise, his enemy has drawn his blade.
The hi-tech sword meets with Supremeo's blast head-on. Only for Supremeo's attack to be absorbed within the blade. This brings a look of shock to Supremeo's face because he now sees War Hawk hovering over him with a blade engulfed in a Roaring flame boosted with an attack from his own cannon.
With a cold glare behind the lenses of his helmet War Hawk raises his blade and strikes the incoming attack from Bernard Sullivan. Through the lenses in War Hawk's helmet, he was warned of incoming interference approaching his way.
frustrated, Bernard Sullivan curses to himself and prepares for another attack. Now War Hawk's eyes are locked on Bernard. The droid charges headfirst towards the hero. War Hawk is hit from behind by a cannon blast that stuns him.
He looks and sees Supremeo charging towards him. Next he looks back to Bernard who has another clear shot ready for War Hawk. Then a whistling sound can be heard by everyone. It whips through the air so fast the tech in everyone's helmet registered it a few seconds too late. Then to the shock of all parties, Bernard Sullivan is hit across his body causing the charged blast intended for War Hawk to shoot off into the sky. The whistling sound was caused by a large sheathed sword being thrown towards the Hero. It plants itself into the ground as Bernard hits the floor.
War Hawk is hit across his face by Supremeo as well. As the two droids fall they see exactly who is the new entry to the fight they're currently entangled in is.
The culprit is none other than Amaro Midas! As War Hawk falls to the ground with Supremeo, they both See Amaro grinning with a look of sadistic joy on his face as he finds himself in a standoff against the legendary hero Bernard Sullivan over the cliff he was hiding on.
Through using their communication tech, Amaro reaches War Hawk. He tells the droid, "Leave the old man to me. You concentrate on the droid."
Both droids land loudly on the ground creating a dust cloud. Within the cloud War Hawk replies to Amaro telling him, "I understand master." This statement surprises Supremeo.
Now from within the dust, he tells War Hawk, "Master? Now I know for sure you're not your normal self Victor. From the memories I have of you, that would be the last thing you'd call anyone who isn't your father or mentor."
War Hawk tells Supremeo, "Yes Supremeo! Highlight that your memories you have were GIVEN. How much of what you know is a true experience, and not something that was given to you? Any sympathy you have for me. Means nothing to me when I know who the true holder of your memories were!" The battle between the two opposing droids intensifies within the dust cloud. They both catch air and fly again kicking up more dirt in the atmosphere. An intense glow of blue and orange from the eyes of Supremeo and War Hawk shine from behind the dust cloud that now rises beyond the cliff where Bernard faces off against Amaro.
The sounds of the clashing super droids ring through the skies, while the echos of battle below them combine with the sounds of chaos from above.
On the cliff where Amaro and Bernard are positioned. They're still at a standstill. Bernard has a charged blast from his cannon ready, while Amaro still has a sadistic look of joy on his face. Amaro is the first to speak. He tells Bernard, "Gonna make a move? Or should I? Sorry about that cheap shot earlier. I just wanted to get your attention. If it matters that sword also has a flamed laser blade. I chose to not ignite it because I'm pretty sure my Sword woulda took your head clean off. Especially with that outdated-looking suit of armor. What happened to the shiny green and grey one that you had in Edenn?" Amaro pauses for a moment. Then he realizes something and says, "Ahhh! Something tells me you were thinking there was a chance you'd be compromised in battle. And your armor would've been stolen and back-engineered! Still smart even at your advanced age I see! Well, I'll tell you right now. I've been looking forward to our rematch ever since we met in that hidden dimension. And we would've left your armor alone after our fight. Because we already got what we need to win as you can see!"
Amaro motions his arms to the sky above and the grounds below. Bernard sees his friends locked in battle with hoards of golden dragons. While Supremeo fights with War Hawk in the air.
Then to Bernard's surprise he tells him, "And to show you how serious I am of this rematch. I'll fight you without wearing my chest plate armor. Since ya know. What you're currently equipped with is severely out of date." Then, just as the soldier said so. Amaro begins to take off his chest piece. He then tells the hero, "Our weapons well use will be anything equipped at our waist or gauntlets. Fair enough?"
Before Amaro can get an answer, Bernard unleashes the blast from his cannon. Luckily for the soldier of war, his reflexes were quick enough to activate a protective force field that covered his exposed upper body.
Then from the smoke of the blast, Bernard comes charging in with his hands reaching for the soldier's throat. With a look of bloodlust in his eyes. The sheer force of him barging in, breaks the force field. He screams at the soldier while choking him. He says, "This isn't a sparring match boy! People are dying around us. Where is your humanity!"
Amaro tries to activate his force field again but gets his left gauntlet smashed before Amaro can reach the button for it. Now with one hand gripped like a vice around his throat. Amaro can be heard laughing saying, "Not fair. I rid myself of my armor. And you should too. Haha!" The sadistic grin on Amaro's face leaves a bothered look on Bernard's face, but quickly turns to rage as he delivers a swift headbutt right between Amaro's eyes. This draws blood from the soldier as it shoots from his nose like a geyser.
Bernard releases Amaro from his grip. As the soldier collapses to the ground. Bernard readies another charged blast from his arm cannon. Unluckily for the hero, the mere seconds Sullivan took to charge his cannon gave Amaro enough time to get back on one knee and roll out of the blast's way, and take cover behind a boulder.
Another unlucky moment begins to happen for the hero. Because of the blood that's been drawn from his broken nose. The bloodlust virus coursing through the soldier's veins begins to rev up and begin to heal and strengthen him while he is still crouched behind the boulder. The mad soldier lifts his head and shows a sadistic grin while preparing himself for his next strike.
Amaro waits for Bernard to show himself. To his shock, the hero appears above him! Bernard shoots a blast of energy from his arm cannon. But because of Amaro's bloodlust taking over. His reaction to the attack is much quicker. The mad soldier activates the tech in his armored boots to launch himself at a safe distance from the hero's blast.
Then Amaro reveals an arm cannon on his gauntlet that launches a blast strong enough to blow the legendary hero off the cliff! As Bernard Crashes down to the floor of the battlefield. The armor softens the blow but begins to break open and burn itself in the process. Once he lands he notices his armor is broken. His helmet has split in half as well.
Bernard tears off his helmet, then begins to take off the upper parts of his burning armor. Once he rids himself of the broken tech, he sees Amaro begin to approach him. The mad soldier jumps off the cliff and lands in front of the hero of legend. Through the use of the tech in his boots, the soldier lands safely in front of Bernard.
With his arms open and a grin on his face he tells the hero, "See! Now we can get to our fight! The legendary Hero and the fallen soldier!" The hero's brow furrows and he balls his fists up. The soldier takes his fighting stance. The engines ignite within their high-tech boots and both fighters are launched towards each other.
The first thing to hit its target is Bernard's fist against Amaro's jaw, as the hero swiftly blocks a knee aimed for his gut. He counters with another Right cross to the face of the mad soldier. This quick and powerful attack shocks Amaro as he is launched a few feet back. He spits the fleshly drawn blood from his mouth then wipes his face clean of it with his armored gauntlet. He grins at the hero and with more blood continuing to drip from the open wound in his mouth he says to the hero, "Ahh the speed and that power! Makes me wonder how fierce your fighting spirit must have been in its prime! Either way, mine is boiling to a point it hasn't been in years! I'm anxious to see if this will end in the perfect death I've been looking for. Or if you'll just be another opponent. Well, you should still be proud I guess, because you're about to see me push my limits to a point I haven't shown to any opponent in a very long time!"
Amaro begins to rub the blood from his mouth all over his body. Then right before Bernard's eyes, a trait of the bloodlust virus unseen by many opponents begins to show. The blood appears to spread and cover Amaro's whole body. It's as if it were "crawling."
Then again with his arms wide open and a grin on his face. The soldier tells the hero, "Ahh transformation complete! Forgive me in advance, Bernard. This is a trait of the medicine your old war developed. It's called the bloodlust virus. In battle the more I am caused to exert my body. The more this virus strengthens me. Nanobots simultaneously heal me causing me to have unlimited stamina. BUT! As a bonus, if I was to spill blood. Like how you just happened to make me to. An ability from the virus gets activated if I choose so. The nanobots replicate at an intense speed. They begin to cover my body like so. Providing me with a thin, but near unbreakable armor that can bend to my will! I know I said no armor for this fight Bernard, but this is something that's bonded to my body! Hahaha! Complain if you'd like but it's like you said, This isn't a sparring match!"
Bernard remains silent with a cold look on his face. Then in a flash to Amaro's surprise, a punch landed across his jaw shattering the armored glove from his gauntlet. This luckily also shatters the newly armored coating of "blood" covering Amaro's face that was applied from the blood lust virus from the fallen soldier's body.
Amaro's shock in his eyes can be seen from Bernard as he continues to give the same cold look. Before the virus can begin its healing process Bernard instantly attacks the opening spot. This rocks Amaro, but instinct kicks in as he headbutts the hero temporarily dazing him as well.
Amaro recovers from the attack quickly and instantly throws punches to Bernard's body as he tries to recover from the attack he suffered.
A volley of punches are thrown smacking and smashing against the hero's exposed torso, arms and face. As the punches begin to pile up the hero begins to bleed and bruise up.
However the cold look on the hero's face does not change at all. He dives back into the pit of battle and this time exchanges punches and kicks against the mad soldier.
In the middle of the battlefield of a sea of golden dragon droids. And underneath the Roaring thunder of the fight with the most advanced battle droids. A chorus of blows between two old-school warriors is added to this melody of violence.
Minutes pass and this melody continues with no sign of slowing down. Until Amaro sees something. A slight dip in the intensity of Bernard's attack causes Amaro to raise the intensity of the blows he begins to deliver. Then, almost to the soldier's shock. He lands 20 consecutive blows. This causes Bernard to use the tech in his boots to fly back.
The legendary hero was the first to step back in this fierce exchange that lasted for 25 minutes. Amaro looks towards the hero. Bernard is bruised, Cut, bleeding, and visibly tired.
Amaro says, "Wow you've really gotten old huh? I know you've been in a constant fight for weeks now. But still. With the stories I've heard. I expected more!" The cold look is still on Bernard's face which even causes the mad soldier to hesitate for a second. Then Amaro calls Bernard's bluff and Charges head-first towards Bernard. The hero Puts his hands up once again in a defensive posture and hears the soldier tell him, "GOODBYE LEGEND! WE WILL BUILD A MORE UNITED COMMUNITY ONCE THIS BATTLE IS OVER! I'LL BE KNOWN AS THE MAN WHO DIDN'T WELCOME YOU IN IT!"
