I smiled a little when the bedroom door creaked open, but I slowly brushed my hand over Suki’s head, trying to keep her asleep.
A figure stepped in the room, glancing around before looking down at the bed.
His brows drew together. “Who the hell are yo—”
I immediately flipped a finger up, and a cloth ripped from the curtains, wrapping around his mouth immediately.
He then was slammed against the wall with inhuman force, rattling the tabled and bedframes with the force.
He gazed up at me in horror, struggling as if he was bound there.
“Shhh…” I cooed then, gazing down at Suki as my eyes glowed a bright red, “she’s sleeping.”
He fought against my magic, but it didn’t even falter in the slightest.
“She gets very little sleep, you know,” I said then, voice low in hopes not to disturb her. “And you are not making this easy.”
He muffled something from the cloth covering his mouth, but I could barely register it.
“I don’t care what you have to say,” I said then, still running my fingers through her hair. “You are disturbing my Angel’s peaceful sleep, and I do not appreciate that.”
I then flipped another finger up, and his neck snapped.
He then dropped to the floor, deceased.
“That was the third disturbance tonight,” I said then, sighing. “He surely has problems, hmm?”
Suki just turned further into the mattress, making my lips part, but she just wrapped her arms around me and buried herself in my hold.
“Warm…” she murmured sleepily.
I just smiled, setting my cheek a top of her head. “Stay asleep, my Angel.”
“Okay…” she said gently.
