Once I got into the building I went upstairs and unlocked the door. I was holding a sleeping Ellie and my weapons bag on my back along with her Doc Mcstuffins bag. I opened the door and Donte was sitting at the dining table with some girl.
"Hey Erica", Donte said and I closed the door behind me.
"Hey"
I went upstairs up to my room and laid Ellie down on my hammock. I tossed our bags next to the computer table. Then went into the kitchen and warmed up some pizza.
"Who is she", the girl said.
"I'm Erica his roommate"
"You have a kid", the girl said.
"No a little sister", I said grabbed the pizza got the microwave and eating it.
"You never told me that you stay with an another girl", the girl said.
"Actually I'm renting out his work room"
I tossed my plate in the trash and took a shower then bathe Ellie. I changed her into her pajamas and laid down in the hammock. I had Ellie laying on my chest and fell asleep with her.

I woke up hearing my alarm clock going off and the girl that was here last night in my face.

I looked down to see Ellie still fast asleep so I woke her up and stood up. I turned off my alarm and stretched.
"Get the fuck out my room", I said pointing to the steps.
She just looked at me like I was crazy.
"Get to stepping", I said pushing her to the stairs.
I heard my phone ringing and answered it without checking the caller ID.
"Erica here"
"Did you forget about our meeting", I heard boss say.
"Shit I'll be there in a little bit"
"Did you hear about last night", boss said.
"Ellie go get dressed for school in the bathroom", I said taking the phone away from my ear.
"C'est où", Ellie said still sleepy. (English- Where is it)

"Okey dokey", Ellie said grabbing her clothes running to the bathroom.
I pressed the phone back to my ear to hear boss talking about what happened last night.
"You know other than Orlando being killed some officers got killed", boss said.
"I guess you heard about last night", I said scratching the back of my neck.
I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom. I opened the door to see Ellie standing in the sink brushing her hair with my brush. She was all dressed but had socks on.
I locked the bathroom door and put the phone on speaker. I set the phone on the side of the sink and got dressed.

"Yes I heard about last night everybody did it was all over the fucking news", boss yelled into the phone.
I'm surprised Ellie doesn't curse with all the people around her cursing.

Ellie stood on the side of the sink and kept brushing her hair.

I started brushing my teeth and pulled out an extra toothbrush for Ellie. I put toothpaste and everything on it and gave it to Ellie. I took my brush back and started brushing my hair.

Then I heard someone knocking on the door.

"Open the goddamn door", it sounded like the girl from yesterday.
"You're going to have to wait we're getting ready"
"It sounds like you're busy so come straight to my office when you're done", boss said and hung up.
I sat my brush down and took the toothbrush from Ellie since she was done. Then placed it next to mine and picked her up so she could rinse out her mouth.
She grabbed my brush and started back brushing her hair. Before she stood back in the sink I took a towel and dried the sink. I grabbed my phone and opened the bathroom door.
"You can use the bathroom after she's done brushing her hair and don't you fucking touch her"
I walked into the kitchen and made 2 pancakes for Ellie. I sat them on the counter with some syrup and went to my room to take the clothes out of Ellie's bag. I tossed them on my computer chair.
"Can you get out the bathroom", the girl said.
"No I'm not done", Ellie said.
"Ellie venir manger vos crêpes" (English- Ellie come eat your pancakes)
Then I heard a thud and little footsteps going into the kitchen. I grabbed Ellie and my bags. I got the weapons bag and my school bag. I went downstairs and gave Ellie her bag. I washed the dishes and grabbed my car keys. I grabbed my bags and walked over to the door.
"Hey girl", the girl from last night said.
"I have a name use it"
"Can you give me a ride to the nail salon then the hair salon and then the mall", the girl said.
"Hell no I'm not your chauffeuse"
"What's a chauffeuse", the girl said.
Donte sure does choose the dumb ones. I ran up to my room and locked the computer.

I'm sitting in boss's office while he goes on and on about how I'm a dumbass for what I did last night. He's been talking for 3 goddamn hours about last night I mean I know I fucked up but no need to rub it in. I dropped off Ellie 3 hours ago at school with some lunch money.

I went to mission floor and got my money from yesterday's job. Then down to the 4th floor to pay Tyler a visit.

I grabbed his neck and started to choke him. He started punching me in my sides trying to get up. Just then Elijah and Dominic came and started stomping me in my head and side. I had let go of Steph and Troy pulled Steph off of me.
I managed to get up a little to sweep kick both Dominic and Elijah making them fall onto the floor. I jumped on top of Dominic and started rapidly punching him in the stomach.
"What the fuck are you doing", I heard boss's voice.
"That bitch called me out", Troy said.
"Someone get her before she kills the poor lad", boss said and I felt arms wrap around my waist.
It felt like two people pulling me. I snatched my arms out of their grasp and turned around to see Troy and Steph. Then boss cleared his throat and we all turned to look at him.
"What are you boys doing", boss said.
"We were just training with Erica here", Troy said and I spat the blood out of my mouth on his shirt.
I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.
"Bitch", Troy said pushing me.
"Don't quit your day job cock sucker I see it pays you well"
I quickly punched Troy in the stomach and when he bent over I elbowed him in the back. He fell onto the ground and boss cleared his throat again. I looked back up at him and he looked angry.
"Erica go home I'll see you tomorrow and boys I would like to have a talk with you in my office", boss said and left the room.
I grabbed my jacket and got in the elevator going to the 4th floor.
"You okay", Tyler said.
"Yeah just give me my bags"
"You should go to a doctor or something to pack up that gash over your eyebrow", Tyler said.
"I can manage", I said taking my bags from him.
"Alright hope you feel better tomorrow", Tyler said.
"Yeah me too"
I got on the elevator and went down to my garage. It's right above the basement. Since at the apartment there are no garages I decided to leave them here. All I have to do is pay boss a small fee every month. I pressed in the password in the keypad and there they were.
I have a 2016 Jaguar F-Type Coupe, 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S, 2017 Subaru BR-Z, 2017 Audi TT, 2017 Aston Martin Vanquish and some other ones in my other garages across Los Angeles.
I got in the Jaguar and tossed my jacket in the backseat along with my bags. I plugged up my phone to the car and blasted Do it Myself by Russ throughout the car. I rolled down the windows and drove off.
