Skye
It had been almost an hour, but we were finished with the tour, and this place was absolutely amazing.
There were three floors that were all the same length and width as the others, though the top floor consisted of hundreds of large bedrooms, and in the middle section there were four even larger rooms; the piano room, the library, a smaller kitchen, and a theater!
Not only that, but the bottom floor had so much more! A dining hall with an abnormally large table, a living space with gorgeous couches, a ball room, hundred-car garage, kitchen, arcade, aquarium, infirmary, study, pool room, TRAINING room, and a freaking BAR!
How rich was this man?
And that wasn't even all!
They had a rooftop terrace for sightseeing as well as a greenhouse! And there was a basement that consisted of another training room, a wine cellar, an ice rink, a children's play area, and a fricking BILLARD room!
What WAS he? Did fallen angels literally give birth to money?
I stared off as Sebastian walked me back to my room, questioning everything and if my sanity was depleting yet.
I didn't know him, though this entirely surprised me; his existence surprised me, and I still wasn't sure if he was the best to be around, but I just... I couldn't help myself.
I was too curious, and I was wandering closer to his danger, and I'd been trying to pull away, but it was as if his body itself kept grabbing me and drawing me back.
"How did you find so much money?" I asked him then, and he glanced over at me with a smirk.
"I own a couple clothing companies, and a couple computer companies," he told me, looking entirely smug that I was so impressed. "And I don't even have to do anything, all the money just comes to me."
I gazed up at him as we walked up the stairs to the top floor. "How did you get the company?"
He smiled. "You don't want to know the answer to that, Sweetheart."
A chill passed through me, and I knew he was implying he did something bad or... illegal, but I still got even more curious.
"Do you have any other siblings?" I asked him then.
He glanced over at me, something in his gaze switching, but he replied, "No."
I nodded then, gazing back up. "Who else lives here?"
"Uhm," Sebastian said, gazing up. "Me, my sister, my two friends Jake and Jaden—who are brothers, by the way—and Chris."
I blinked. "Wait... Chris? The guy I tried to hook Neveah up with earlier?"
He nodded, smirking.
I pursed my lips, staring off. "Huh." I then glanced back up. "Are all of you fallen?"
"Me and my sister are, and Chris, too, but Jake and Jonah are half-human."
"I see..." I whispered, looking back ahead of me.
My lips parted then, and my eyes widened.
"What?" Sebastian said.
I then ran forward, making him suck in a breath, but I just crouched down in front of a white fluff ball that lay right next to one of the unused bedrooms.
I felt something inside me warm when the fat cat lifted his head off the ground and regarded me.
"Who's this?" I asked Sebastian, holding my hand out so the cat could sniff me.
He did, and then gazed back up, and I pet his little head.
He turned his face into my hand, purring slightly.
It may have been my imagination, but Sebastian looked slightly surprised.
"That's our cat," Sebastian said, stopping a bit away from us. "We named him Lucipurr."
I gazed up then, alarmed. "Why would you name him after the literal devil?"
"Are you kidding?" Sebastian said, almost looking concerned for my health. "That thing's a demon! He bit me the other day and walked off!"
"Awwww..." I said, petting the kitten's head. "He's not bad. He's cute!"
"He has demon eyes," Sebastian commented, pointing to his eyes as an indication. "Seriously, they're freaking red. I swear he's the reincarnation of the devil. He's a freaking demon."
I sputtered my lips and continued petting Lucipurr. "He likes me. See?"
"That's a surprise," Sebastian commented. "He hates everyone. He just walked in our house one day and we couldn't get him out. He treats himself like a princess by eating our food, and we bought treats for him at one time to train him, and he just wacked it out from my hand and ate it off the floor."
"So he's sassy," I said, smiling as he kept purring.
The cat just gazed up at Sebastian and flicked his tail, licking his chops before gazing back at me.
"Very sassy," Sebastian said, brows raised.
"He's also chunky," I said, giggling as Lucipurr raised his head, still purring. "He needs some exercise."
Sebastian scoffed. "Good luck. I tried to walk him on a leash once, and it did not end up well."
I gazed up at him. "What happened?"
"Let's just say I looked like someone sliced me with a knife all over my body."
I laughed.
"Hey!" he said, pointing an accusing finger at me. "That thing is genuinely a psychopath! I swear!"
I laughed again. "Are you afraid of him?"
"You're not?" he said, brows raised.
I just giggled and picked Lucipurr up, and he clutched onto my shoulders as I started carrying him back to my room.
"Psychopath," Sebastian said, following after me, "I swear."88Please respect copyright.PENANAJ1kNpF4mqD
