Parent Student Teacher Conferences today.
Basically, for five minutes, one of your teachers yaps about you. In English, she was really happy with me. In Physics, he was very happy. In Maths, my dad asked him so many questions that he barely had time to talk about me.
But hey, I hate him!
Even my dad agreed that I should have mixed feelings about him because apparently he 'lacks rigour for a Maths teacher'. I have no idea what that means, but as long as it means that I'm allowed to hate on him, than I'm happy.
I also had band practice, so I missed my Music teacher yapping about me, my Drama teacher yapping about me and my Mandarin teacher yapping about me.
The only teacher I'm mad at is my Mandarin teacher because he mentioned extra homework.
Hell no.
Anyway, I think I'll probably have to do it, so that's great. Not really, but I'm trying to be optimistic. If it means that I'll get better in Mandarin, I suppose that it's good, right? I need all the help I can get in Mandarin, especially as I don't want to pay for a tutor outside of school.
Too expensive.
My dad is my Maths tutor, so no fees there. I should probably get a Science tutor at this point, but I think I can escape it if I perform well enough in the upcoming test. I just need to go over some things from previous lessons.
My teacher was surprisingly happy with me!
Now, I have to go. But I guess today's message is that even if you're convinced someone hates you (like my Music teacher), they actually may not hate you.
They might even like you!
