In a month, my school ends.
I will finally have my well-deserved Christmas break!47Please respect copyright.PENANA1zSPfuZOJe
But first, there are a bunch of things happening in my life. Namely all my performances. This weekend, there are the three shows for Footloose! It's going to be a long, long weekend. And throughout this week, I have had and will have Hansel and Gretel rehearsals.
Hansel and Gretel will be performed on the 3rd of December.
And I'm going to see SIX. And I'll have my drama class production. And I'll have a whole lot of tests at school.
So yeah. It's going to be a very action-packed end of year.
I like having a lot of things going on at the same time because I don't feel bored or lazy. There's always something to do, somewhere to go, someone to call for help or for advice. That way, I feel nice.
Like I'm doing something.47Please respect copyright.PENANAjG53wF6fMB
I know how to crochet a little bit, so I'm looking forward to learning how to crochet better next year, in 2025, when I'll have less productions because my school's production will be performed a week after I'm leaving to France, so I can't join it.
My friends are good at crochet, so I might be able to learn from them.
All in all, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm doing well. Working out, taking care of myself, having a lot of friends and acquaintances. I'm always trying to be nice and to smile, because that's always what's going to get people to like you.
Usually, just after my birthday, I immediately start wishing that I was a year older. When I turned 9, I remember wanting to be 10. When I turned 10, I wanted to be 11. When I turned 11, I wanted to be 12. When I turned 12, I wanted to be 13.
13 is a great number for me. I've finally reached the online majority (on most websites) and I have a lot more freedom. I feel like adults take me more seriously, way more than they did even a month or two ago.
I remember when I was 10 that I wanted to go to the pool, and my little cousin was 8. No adult wanted to accompany us, so I proposed that I take her by myself. Mind you, we were on a camping site. The bungalow was right next to the pool. All the adults refused, saying I was too young.
Now, all of them take me seriously because I'm 13 and apparently you get taken seriously when you're 13. It's like when you turn 16 or 18. 16 is the consent age, so people start to take you even more seriously, and of course when someone turns 18 they're legal, so that also influences things.
I don't feel old, per say. Nor do I feel young.47Please respect copyright.PENANAhtjyrWiTlJ
