My party was awesome.
Everyone had so much fun, and we were all singing our hearts out to One Direction, Lauv, a bunch of Chinese songs, Taylor Swift and 'Thick of It'. Don't question our music tastes.
We ate Domino's pizza and cake (I cut the cake badly and had my joke moment about how my math teacher didn't teach me shit) and we were so happy. My best friend got me lots of matching bestie stuff (a T-shirt, a necklace and a writing set), another of my friends got me a speaker, another one got me a book, yet another got me my first Nike T-shirt (it's got a funny bulldog on the back, one got me stationary, another friend got me a French mug and finally I got a knitting set.
The two other people have presents that haven't arrived yet.
So yeah, it was so nice. I got way better presents this year than last year. And apparently my brother is buying me a present too, so that's fun.
Then I went to my bestie's house and we watched the School for Good and Evil. I already read the series but the movie is actually really well-adapted based on the books. Tedros is still an asshole, Sophie is just as unlikeable as in the books, Gregor still goes missing (I love him, though), Hort is everyone's favourite villain and Agatha is so like me it's not funny.
Ah, to the days where I obsessed over the School for Good and Evil.
Speaking about obsessing, I might just read some fanfictions from that fandom while I'm at it. I mean, I had a writing spree: wrote an entry for a competition, wrote a long chapter for Take Me to Church and now this? Wow! I am on a roll!
Also, the dinner went surprisingly well. The kids were respectively 11 (a boy), 8 or 9 (a girl) and 6 (a girl). All three were super well-behaved, and once I took out the Game of Life and explained the rules, they immediately trusted me and started yapping like a bunch of teenagers. I started yapping a bunch too, and didn't even want to go listen to the adults.37Please respect copyright.PENANANtnwVj0jvy
For once, a dinner was interesting.
Don't get me wrong, because I was the oldest (and it was my house), I had to play waitress and carried all the food to and from the adult table, switch between French and English (it's complicated) so that the kids understood, cut ice cream, cut cake, play piano and look good.
Life is crazy.
Today is more of a chill day, thankfully. I've written a lot, so I'm happy. Why am I always so unproductive until my parents force me to turn off my music because I'm supposed to be taking a nap?
I love my life.
