Weeks had passed, almost months, and Doctor Jen came back a month later, I found out the hard way why I wasn't healing fast enough.
My ankle was broken.
Ugh.
But—luckily—she was all stocked up on her medications that healed me instantly, and after she gave them to me, I passed out.
I woke up in my bed a day later, and Sebastian was next to me, on his phone. He explained to me that I passed out because of how fast I was healing; my body needed rest.
After I healed up, we trained more; he taught me amazing moves on jumping off high things, landing correctly, and dodging attacks and moves.
He'd been training me for over three months—every day.
Eventually... he finally gave me it...
The angelic dagger.
I was so excited, and he trained me how to fight with the dagger; I was amazing at holding it, it was like I was born to use it.
I kind of was; I was half-archangel.
But I wasn't focused on that right now.
Right now? I was playing air-hockey with Neveah again, and this time, I was kicking her ass.
The second the puck slid into her side, she groaned in annoyance, dropping her head back.
"Yes!" I yelled, raising my hands in victory. "That's what you get boyyyyyyyy!"
"I'm a girl," she replied in amusement, "sexist."
"I'm not sexist," I replied, smirking. "You're just a sore loser."
"Says the girl who lost once today and threw the puck at me," she told me then, shaking her head. "So violent."
"You're just a sore loser," I replied, sticking my tongue out at her.
She only rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'm done playing, anyway." But she turned back around. "Hey, Skye... your boyfriend has an arcade in his house; why do we always come here?"
I shrugged. "I just like getting out of that mansion. Also this place is nostalgic to me, too."
She smiled slightly then. "You didn't tell Sebastian you were coming here, did you?"
I sputtered my lips, waving away her question. "He doesn't need to know every place I go. I can protect myself now, thank you."
She arched a brow. "Someone is a little too confident. May I remind you that a psychopath is chasing us?"
"Eh," I said, waving away her question again, "I can just watch him explode with my weapon." I smiled darkly. "It's exciting."
She shook her head in defeat. "You make me sad."
"You make me glad!" I replied, laughing. "Haha, yes, I rhymed."
"You're such a child," she said; annoyed.
"Yes," a voice said from behind me, "a child, she is."
I screamed and spun around, gasping when I took in Sebastian's form from behind me; I slid my hand in my pocket and grasped the hilt of the dagger.
But the moment I saw that little rune spiraling up his neck, I eased back into myself, pulling my hand away.
He gave me a look. "Were you about to kill me?"
"Maybe," I replied vaguely.
He sighed, shaking his head. "So violent."
"Stop jump-scaring me then!" I yelled to him. "It scares the shit out of me!"
He smiled in response. "I know, that's why I do it."
I rolled my eyes and faced back toward Neveah who was smirking. "He's a psychopath, I swear."
Sebastian just locked his arms around me, pressing his face to the back of my neck as he whispered, "Stop fleeing from me, and maybe I'll stop following you."
"You're horrifying," I replied honestly, "if I didn't know who you were I'd be running right now."
"Oh?" he said.
"Yes," I told him, "your smile is menacing, your stance is horrifying, and your eyes are too dark for comfort."
He chuckled low in my ear. "I scare you this much?"
I turned then, making him smile as I faced him. "What's your body-count?"
He smirked.
"Killing," I said rolling my eyes. "How many people have you killed, not had sex with?"
He laughed softly, though replied, "Two million."
I rolled my eyes. "Nice try, what is it really?"
He splayed his hand across his heart, shrinking back. "You don't believe me? Ouch. You're supposed to trust your boyfriend, you know."
"My boyfriend's a crazed lunatic," I whispered quietly, and he only smiled.
It was weird... after I first agreed to enter his house, he started getting all lovey-dovey and snuggly with me, and then recently—after we expressed our love and I healed—he went back to being a creepy lunatic who seemed almost psychopathic.
But I knew this was still Sebastian due to his runes; I even went to the library at one point in time to look up runes on angels, and I snuck into his room at night to draw one on him with a permanent marker.
Just to see if he was North somehow.
But he never reacted; in fact, the next morning he burst into my room while I was sleeping and tackled me.
He decided to punish me for drawing on him, and he tickled me while I started laughing.
This was still Sebastian, and I felt like this creepy, leery, menacing side of him was his playful side, too, and he got lovey-dovey at night and snuggled with me, and he made me breakfast the next morning; my favorite meals my mom always made.
He also got lovey-dovey when he hurt me; like when he accidentally broke my ankle.
It wasn't really his fault; he was just... there, I guess, and I landed wrong. So, it was mainly my fault, but whatever.
But I felt like he was trying to be nice to me because he wanted me to trust him, and now that I did, he went back to his original-self.
And, I'm not gonna lie, it's kind of sexy...
"Earth to Skye," Sebastian said, making me glance up to find him smiling. "What are you thinking about, me?"
Yes, but I wasn't going to tell him that.
"Has North ever had a girlfriend?" I asked curiously.
Sebastian arched his brows at the question but gazed up, thinking.
After a moment, he looked back down. "Yes, he did, but he didn't love her. He was just pretending to so he could steal some precious jewelry from her mother, and killed the entire family."
My mouth dropped. "What an asshole."
"That's an understatement," he told me, smirking.
I rolled my eyes.
"So..." Sebastian said, "wanna go on a date?"
"What about Neveah?" I questioned.
He just glanced over at Neveah who was staring at us curiously. "What do you say, up for another third wheeling?"
She smiled and raised her hands in victory. "Hell, yeah!"35Please respect copyright.PENANAQb6158Xnsv

A/N:
I love it when Sebastian is lovey-dovey, but I was worried that the "suspense" needed to pipe back up. So here you go. Don't worry; he'll still be lovey-dovey.
