Magna started to form a ball of fire as his grimoire lifted from his pouch and started glowing. He then pulled a bat made out of fire from his book. As the fireball got closer, everyone noticed Mystic had not flinched a single muscle. Once it got closer, she held her hand and sent it a blast of air causing the fireball to slow down. As it did she raised both arms and charged up her own attack. When she had enough speed up she released it forward, hitting the fireball and sending it right back towards Magna. Mystic realized he wasn't thinking fast enough so she did her flick to send a sphere of air to surround him. Before the attack hit though, Asta had jumped in between with his sword drawn to deflect the attack. The fireball started coming back towards her. She decided to switch up her magic. She raised her arms above her head and activated her water magic. As the fireball was coming towards her she sent a blast of water to drown out the fire. The attacks met halfway and caused an explosion of sorts. The fire dispelled and drops of water were falling everywhere. Everyone was staring in awe at how Mystic just casually changed magic before they broke into a cheer.
