The evening came when the two girls came out of the Le Bernardin restaurant and started complaining about how the desserts ran out of order.
"Ugh! I can't believe one person is able to have an extra three from the menu. He could've, at least, gave us the other two... Such a pig," a brunette with a balayage wavy hair remarked nastily and flipped it over her left shoulder to text one of her friends.
"Tell me about it. He also shoved the table without even saying excuse me," a blonde girl rolled her eyes in boredom and had a glint twinkling in her eye, smirking. "Anyway, forget that. Let's go for a drink at the bar and we'll meet new guys there."
Both of them continued to walk on the sidewalk in their high heels. Then, someone quickly brushed past them between their shoulders in the middle, much to their annoyance.
"Hey, watch it! You-" the brunette called out loudly but got startled when she couldn't see the person clearly.
The blonde girl raised an eyebrow in puzzlement and asked confusedly. "Who the hell was that?"
The brunette rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Who cares? Come on, let's go this way..."
As soon as they left in a different direction, the hooded figure just kept on walking straight and immediately reached the stoplights with the other pedestrians.
Of course, there was traffic and people crossing the streets everywhere as usual. Either they start heading home from work or they want to visit their friends, family, and other loved ones.
But what can they say about New York? Well, it's a city that never sleeps.
Unless you live somewhere in a quiet neighborhood in town.
Around 11:30 pm, many fans had recently walked out of the venue's main entrance while they were talking amongst themselves.
Laughing and roasting each other because of the random posts they published through social media. Mostly, they enjoyed discussing the current popular boy group, which they couldn't be more surprised about.
"Oh my god! The way his moves were flowing and his acrobatics were on fire," a black-haired girl with eyeglasses squealed in delight.
"Not to forget that Mark is handsome," a girl with pink highlights emphasized and continued on. "I want to know if he has abs. I can't deny that they're probably the main course."
"Uhh. No..." an auburn-haired girl said awkwardly as she rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"What? But doesn't he?" She asked curiously.
"I mean, if he shows them as part of the choreography, then yeah probably," the black-haired girl pointed out, then shrugged off.
"I prefer Jackson. He's the one that stood to me the most out of all," the girl with pink highlights said, grinning widely.
"Ugh. Of course, he's your bias. But all of them in GOT7 are amazing," the black-haired girl pointed out and continued on. "I love them equally, ya know."
"Absolutely right," the auburn-haired girl nodded in agreement.
"Come on, I haven't eaten dinner. Let's go somewhere fancy," a girl with pink highlights said, groaning in hunger.
"Seriously? But we're broke. We just came right out of the concert and now you want to go to an expensive restaurant?" The black-haired girl questioned exasperatedly.
"Okay, fine. Where do you guys want to go, then?" She asked, sighing tiredly.
"Hmm. Let's head to Chick-fil-A's," the auburn-haired girl suggested.
"Sounds good to me," the black-haired girl nodded, then the three of them walked away from the venue, along with the others.
On the other hand, the hooded figure continued to watch them strolling on the sidewalk in awe until its eyes landed on the top of the building, showing a huge billboard poster of GOT7.
FLASHBACK:
Before it was 6:30 pm, people around New York City were arriving at the Madison Square Garden, carrying their bags, purses, and showing their tickets on their phones. They were being checked carefully to see if they have unwanted belongings inside their pockets by the security scanner machine. Each girl gave them their ID until they were told to go to their own section and specific gate. They walked up to their friends and wrapped their arms around each other in a tight embrace. Greetings with kisses on cheeks.
A young girl in her early 20's was walking inside the venue as she looked around, observing everyone talking nonstop amongst themselves.
"Hey!" A familiar voice caught her attention to turn her head towards her best friend on the right side.
"Ava! Thank goodness you're here. I thought you're working overtime," the dark brunette with reddish highlights thought confusedly.
"Well, my boss said that I need to take more rest and since he's hiring new nurses, I might need to have some time off and enjoy life, you know," she explained with a slight chuckle.
"Duh! You're always dedicated to your job, so are you actually going to attend the concert with me or you just want to stop by and say 'hi?'" She asked blankly.
"Both. That's why I'm here, even though we are sitting in a different area," Ava chirped.
"Yep. I figured," she nodded as her lips pursed, then sighed. "Anyway, let's get going."
"Hmm," Ava hummed in response when the two of them started to walk inside the stadium.
Thirty minutes later, the music began to play where many fans burst out screaming with the loudest cheers, especially when they were waving the bomb sticks up in the air with excitement. Colorful bright lights were spinning in every surrounding.
The dark brunette, on the other hand, received text messages from Ava and her other friend named Sally. She looked down on her phone, reading them quickly.
"I see you! I'm at section 118R, row 10, seat #4."
"I'm in front of you, girl. But a bit farther."
She couldn't help but giggle softly to herself at how informative they can be, so she replied to them.
"Thanks for telling me. I'm on 112L, row 7, seat 8."
As soon as she clicked the sent icon button, she lifted her head up to pay close attention to the first song that they are going to perform called Intro: Persona.
"Who am I? The question I had my whole life,
The question which I probably won't find an answer to my whole life,
If I were answerable with a few more words,
Then God wouldn't have created all these various beauties,
How do you feel? How're you feeling right now?"
Her eyes landed on her bias, Park Jimin, and started to fan-girl on the inside at how handsome and graceful he was as a dancer, along with the other members.
"But then other people come out and put the pearl necklace on me,
Ptui! I laugh more than I did before,
I dreamt of becoming a superhero,
Now it feels like I really became one,
But as it goes on there's so much blabbering,
One says, 'Run' another says, 'Stop,'
This one says, "Look at the forest" that one says, 'Look at the wildflower...'"
Sighing to herself, the others around her decided to stay quiet and she noticed that a few people were taking pictures and videos.
"I'm totally into them right now! They're really awesome!" Ava texted.
She smiled at her message and replied back.
"Hmm. See?! I told you, they're going to snatch your wig," she said metaphorically.
The next song came, which is Suga's solo called Interlude: Shadow.
She listened intently to them and was even more impressed by his rapping skills.
"I wanna be a rap star (rap star),
I wanna be at the top,
I wanna be a rock star,
I want it all mine,
I wanna be rich (rich),
I wanna be the king,
I wanna be me,
I want a big thing,
Oh boy let me see,
I got a big dream, yeah..."
"Oh my god! He's amazinnngg!!" Sally texted with lots of heart eyes, purple hearts, and crying emojis.
"Haha. Not totally surprised that he's your bias," the dark brunette replied back.
"Correction. Bias Wrecker," Sally pointed with a stuck-out tongue emoji.
"Please don't let me shine,
Don't let me down,
Don't let me fly..."
She understood what Suga was trying to interpret because the song clearly states how they do not want to be too famous and people should respect them as normal human beings. Yet ironically, others do not understand.
Once she turned her phone off, the next song started to play ON.
(Jimin): "I can't understand what people are sayin,'
Who and what do I need to follow,
With each step then again grows the shadow,
(Taehyung): "Where is this place I open my eyes to,
Maybe Seoul or New York or Paris,
I get up, unsteady on my feet (Yeah)"
(Namjoon): "(Look) Look at my feet, look down,
The shadow resembles me,
Is it the shadow that's shaking,
Or is it my feet that are trembling,
Of course, I'm not unafraid,
Of course, it's not all okay,
But I know,
Awkwardly I flow,
I fly together with that black wind..."
The fan-girls were jumping and screaming as they were raising their hands up towards them, but the security guards in front of them were telling them to back off a little.
(Jimin, Jungkook, Jin): "Hey na-na-na,
Gotta go insane to stay sane,
Hey na-na-na,
Throw myself whole into both worlds,
Hey na-na-na,
Can't hold me down 'cause you know I'm a fighter,
Carried me into this beautiful prison,
Find me and I'm gonna live with ya!"
The others began to sing along with them and chanting loudly as they were banging the bomb sticks forwardly.
(Jimin, Jungkook): "(Eh-oh)
Bring it, bring the pain, on yeah
(Eh-oh)
Come on up, bring the pain, on yeah
Rain be pourin'
Sky keep fallin'
Everyday oh na-na-na
(Eh-oh)
Bring it, bring the pain, on yeah"
During the bridge, Jungkook's vocals were so heavenly and mesmerizing to the sound of everyone's ears.
"Where my pain lies
Let me take a breath
My everything
My blood and tears
Got no fears
I'm singin' ohhhhh..."
Damn, he really hit those high-pitched notes perfectly without even cracking his voice.
Then, she grinned when they began to perform their epic dance moves while she was taking short videos of them.
Five hours later, the concert ended with massive cheering, clapping, and waving their bomb sticks. The seven members were holding onto their microphones before one of them decided to speak.
"How are y'all doing tonight?" Namjoon asked, then held it out in front of them to answer.
"Awesome!" A few of the fans yelled happily while the others were screaming.
"We are so grateful that you came here to see us and we couldn't be more thankful for you guys supporting us through our music," Namjoon stated, smirking then glanced at his friends to say something.
"Hello, Army! You made our hearts go boom, boom, and made us shine brighter like the stars!" Hoseok said, grinning widely, and placed his hand on his chest dramatically, much to the other girls' squealing.
"We love you!" Jin exclaimed, blowing a kiss, and waved at them.
"Hey, Army. We are happy that you are here with us. Thank you for giving us a lot of energy and support. Love you!" Jungkook said, smiling warmly.
"Do you guys have water that I can drink?" Taehyung asked as he made a gesture towards his mouth until Yoongi walked over to one of the fans on the left corner to take the bottle from the girl.
"Thank you," Taehyung said, then he took a sip so thirstily, whereas Jimin decided to talk.
"Hey, lovelies. How are you? I miss this place. Wow. This is much more than just a dream, eh?" He said as his eyes squinted adoringly, making the girls giggle and gushed over by his natural charm.
"Jiminie!! You're so handsome!" They complimented out loud.
"Why, thank you!" Jimin grinned as he kneeled down to touch hands with them, then he let go for a few seconds and stepped back further.
"Awwww," they groaned disappointingly in unison.
"Hehehe. We will see you again with more surprises," Yoongi said deeply and gave a casual wave.
Then, he and the rest of the group bowed down to everyone and blew kisses at the same time before they walked away and headed backstage.
The dark brunette smiled contentedly at the sight of BTS's success.
It was past midnight and the three girls went to go eat at their favorite 24/7 fast food restaurant called White Castle. They continued to discuss what happened at the concert, which they couldn't be more thrilled to see in person.
END OF FLASHBACK
The hooded figure frowned after remembering the previous boy group that many fans so loved dearly.
Coming home in the apartment later at night, they sat down in front of the laptop and began to search for their names and what careers they have now. The keyboard made several fast typing noises just when the pictures of each member appeared on the screen.
From there, thinking about the plan in mind made the lips form into a smile.
