Happy 7th Anniversary to BTS!! Thank you for the 7 years of making music and making the army very happy. You taught us how to love ourselves truly and embrace every imperfection that we have. :)
The house was almost as big as the mansion where Yoongi met up with two of his older friends. They were currently watching their videos of their younger selves and couldn't help but laugh at their goofiness, shoving each other to the swimming pool, drawing ugly expressions on their faces, including bumping cars and shooting paintballs.
"Man. It's so much fun doing those activities with you guys," Namjoon chuckled in relief.
"Honestly, we should do that some other time if you guys are free," Hoseok grinned enthusiastically.
"Maybe for the next two weeks," Yoongi suggested.
"I can't. My students and I have upcoming preparations for the school play," Namjoon said and added in. "But we are still hanging out afterward."
"Sounds better," Hoseok nodded in agreement as well, then Yoongi began to speak out.
"Now that you saw these videos, do you want to go back and join the group?" He peered at him in wonder.
"I want to. However, I'm very happy with my job," Namjoon pressed his lips together contentedly.
"I mean, we could create a new group name, just the three of us," Yoongi acceded.
"Wait. We have to audition again?" Hoseok raised his eyebrow in perplexity.
"No. We don't need to. Plus, BigHit already knows us very well," Yoongi pointed out.
"Unless we move into a different agency," Hoseok gasped in excitement.
"That's too much work. I don't want to be trained for four years," Yoongi groaned irritatingly.
"I agree. We'll think about it and see how it goes," Namjoon said, nodding curtly.
From that moment on, Valerie and Bryan dropped the shopping bags on the couch, sighing tiredly to themselves. They headed to their workplace where they began to research the two well-known groups online and scribbled down their names hastily.
"What is GOT7's connection with EXO?" Bryan asked skeptically.
"I heard them mentioning TXT and BigHit. Here is the recording," Valerie said as she clicked on the button before the voices started to play in the background.
"Is this them?" The guy asked blankly.
"Indeed. That is TXT. The new group that Bighit recruited. Those idiots. They'll never know what will hit them," the EXO member chuckled.
"Sehun. They're a bit less threatening. The boys are a little young to be involved in our charade," the guy pointed out.
"Relax, Youngjae. A couple of minutes won't take that long," Sehun stated.
"If you say so. Shall we go? People will be suspecting us," Youngjae said faintly.
Bryan closed his eyes before narrowing them and muttered suspiciously. "What could be their personal motive?"
"Don't they have rehearsals today?" Valerie thought.
"I guess so and I think this is the right time to meet them backstage," Bryan said determinedly.
Later on in the Gocheok Sky Dome, the two of them had arrived near the hallways where the cameras and the rest of the setups are pushed aside by the staff crew members. Breathing heavily, they saw one of the guys, who was speaking with his manager about the kind of costumes he wanted to wear. They noticed how much he was complaining that the design was horrid. Park Joon Hyung has been there for GOT7 in five years straight, not creating troubles or stresses with them, compared to the other groups who would. Yet, this may be the first time.
"Should we approach them?" Bryan peered over to the left side for reassurance while hiding in the huge black curtains.
"Yes. Now is our chance," Valerie whispered as they quickly made their way towards the guy at a fast pace.
The brunette guy got startled at them and made a weird expression. "Umm... May I help you?"
"No. We are here to gather some information, regarding BTS and TXT," Valerie smiled nervously.
"Hm. What is it that you like to know?" He questioned.
"Well, we are wondering if you had anything to do with them like any previous history of their fights..." Valerie said politely.
"I assume you are a private detective," he smirked.
"And you must be-" Bryan's eyes squinted a little to guess out correctly but didn't get to finish his last words.
"Jackson Wang," he introduced when he held his hand out to shake theirs properly.
"I'm Valerie and this is Bryan," she said, gesturing to themselves.
"Nice to meet you and to be frank with you, we have not been involved with their scandals lately, except the small interactions we've had four years ago at the awards shows," Jackson explained.
"Recently, Bryan and I coincidentally saw one of your friends named Youngjae. We believe that he is colluding with Sehun against them," Valerie responded in concern.
Jackson was chuckling and shaking his head in disbelief. "I doubt that. None of them would even have the guts to commit a crime."
"Please. You got to believe us. We have a voice recording to prove it to you," Valerie pleaded with her hands clasped together.
Jackson was staring at her desperation and tried to open his mouth until the security called his name out.
"Sir! You will be on in three minutes!"
"I'll be there soon, but will you please escort these two out?" Jackson nodded his head out to them, much to their shock.
"Wait! We'll leave. Only if you agree for a consultation," Valerie begged.
"I'm sorry, I can't," Jackson apologized and walked away from them as he headed to the stage with the others.
On the other hand, Valerie and Bryan sighed hopelessly and pondered for a moment.
"Not again," she dropped her arms out in annoyance.
"It's okay. Luckily, I put a small tiny monitor inside his hat and it's attachable," he prompted.
"Thank goodness. That came out of handy," Valerie said in relief.
"Yep," Bryan concurred, then the two immediately ran out to the exit doors of the stadium.
Once they were outside, an idea popped into Valerie's mind as her eyes started to widen in eagerness.
"Hey. I just have an additional plan," she said.
"Ooh. What is it?" Bryan wondered queerly.
"I may have to dress up and sneak into their houses. That way if the security camera turns off, I might as well back it up," Valerie notified.
"Not bad. Sure, we can try. Though, you really got to be very careful," Bryan advised.
"I know. Don't worry, I've got good reflexes," Valerie said, smiling confidently and continued on. "Anyway, I'm going to get something from the gift shop."
"Okay. I'll go back to our apartment and monitor the system to keep track of Jackson's movements," Bryan informed.
"Good. See you later," Valerie waved at him and left when they both parted their ways.
While she was strolling down on the sidewalk, she stopped by and noticed a young couple having a date and laughing with each other. There, it was Jimin and Chia enjoying the meals and the conversation they were having, which Valerie couldn't expect more of how adorable they are. She was standing a little farther away from them where her lips were curling into half a melancholic smile but shrugged it off as she resumed her sauntering.
Little did she know that a few feet apart, she was being watched through the security footage of the lamp post by an anonymous group, knowing that she was alone by herself. Aside from a bunch of citizens roaming beside her, they paused the video of her face clearly and contemplated.
"Boss, this is where the members are right now," one of the subordinates pointed out as he shoved the pictures on his phone.
"What are we going to do with her, then?" The second one asked maliciously. "Scaring her is probably going to be boring."
The leader was grinning from ear to ear and laughing to himself vindictive in darkness. "Just wait. I know exactly what kind of present she will be receiving. You have no idea what will surprise you, Ms. Valerie Nown because I know your secret..."356Please respect copyright.PENANAMNRk2kZM8e
