Down across the mid-alleyway and street shopping, Bryan and Ava went to the Gyeongju World for the rides, whereas Valerie and Sally were taking a stroll while making plans for their vacation trip. The girls bought strawberry slushies for them to drink.
"This place is the best, especially the food here. Yummiest!" Sally commented dreamily.
"They always do and they never run out of orders because they have extra stockings," Valerie stated calmly.
Sally glanced at her observantly and asked. "You haven't answered the question."
"Huh?" Valerie became dumbfounded.
"Oh, come on. I'm sure there must be someone who is going to be your future boyfriend. I'm glad you and Bryan have solved the issues and how are you doing with your pursuit of your career? Last time, you told me that you wanted to become a detective," Sally recalled back quizzically.
Valerie slowly smiled at her and explained. "It's in progress and I'm studying it daily."
"Ah, that's good. Nothing else happened, right? All I know is that you and Bryan got involved with the criminals who caused gun fires in the middle of the streets and stole money from people. Good thing that was already solved and I'm glad they're in prison," Sally nodded in relief, placing her hand upon her chest. "And I'm glad you two are okay."
"Never better," Valerie grinned as she laughed faintly. Then, she looked away a little bit with a slight faltered expression on her face anxiously. "She can't know the other cases about K-Pop groups... She'll get affected by this situation and I need to find a way to prevent that from happening."
"By the way, what kind of trip do you want to travel to?" Sally asked blankly and sipped her strawberry slush.
Valerie stared at the front view and answered shortly. "Jeju Island."
"Oooh! I always wanted to go there! I just want to feel the solid sand on my feet," Sally said giddily.
"It's been two years, eh? Let's take this opportunity," Valerie suggested with a smirk.
"I'll invite my boyfriend to come and join us. This is going to be so much fun," Sally chirped, tiptoeing up and down, then sent text messages on her phone.
"I can't wait to meet him. What does he look like?" Valerie wondered.
"Trust me. He's not just an ordinary guy, but don't freak out," Sally advised gently.
"Why would I freak out?" Valerie snorted funnily.
Sally raised her eyebrow at her doubtfully and crossed her arms.
Three hours later, they all stood by in front of the real-estate house where Sally is linking her arms with her boyfriend, much to Valerie and their friends' astonishment and bewilderment.
"Hey, guys... What's up?" He greeted, staring at them with his eyebrows furrowed confusedly.
"Min Yoongi...?!" Valerie blurted out shockingly and continued on to question. "Sal, he's your boyfriend?!"
"Duh! I know! You're speechless because he's one of the former rappers in the former group. He's the famous basketball player I've been talking to you about," Sally widened her smile openly.
"But-but I thought he's someone else from a different team and is in New York for the play-offs..." Valerie stammered with a frown.
"Yeah. I thought so too," Bryan murmured.
"Same," Ava chuckled in agreement.
"No, guys. Look I know we haven't spent a lot of time together and I haven't told you any details about my boyfriend, Yoongi. No offense, boo," Sally looked at her boyfriend cutely, which he shrugged off.
"It's fine, I guess," he answered.
"Yoongi... The guy had to be Yoongi?! Why not, Kyle Lowry?" Valerie gazed dully at him and sighed.
"This is an awkward moment for us because..." Yoongi was about to explain, but Valerie gave a warning stare not to say anything about how they met, so he nodded firmly at this instead. "I thought her and Bryan looked familiar when they were shopping at the malls and grocery stores. Small world."
Sally understood slowly and smiled. "Ahh, right. That's nice. Well, now you guys know each other."
Valerie hummed sheepishly. "Yeah."
Bryan thinned his lips concernedly in thought. "This is not going to be good since we just put up a fake act towards Sally..."
Yoongi turned his head to look at her in realization. "Oh, that reminds me... I was wondering if I could invite my friends with us."
"Which friends?" Sally asked keenly.
Yoongi looked at her and said. "Namjoon and the others."
"Wait, wait, wait. You're back with your former group members?!" Ava repeatedly with her flabbergasted expression.
"Not exactly. We're just friends, not in a way that you were expecting," Yoongi grinned.
"That's great! You should!" Sally encouraged him.
"What...?" Valerie frowned with her face frozen.
"Of course!" Sally nodded with a gesture.
"Okay," Yoongi chuckled at her eagerness as he opened his phone to text them all.
Valerie tilted her head sideways in worry, which Bryan had noticed that she was fidgeting her thumbs nervously.
"Anyway, we must be going now. I'll see you around, boo!" Sally said, hugging Yoongi tightly where he did the same thing.
As soon as they let go, she and her friends waved at him goodnight before going inside the car to travel back to their apartment. The basketball player watched them leave out of his sight until he headed back into his house.
He couldn't believe that his girlfriend is friends with Valerie and Bryan. Obviously, the two are also stunned as well since they didn't know Sally's boyfriend would be none other than Yoongi.
