On that day, all the clients were sitting in the chairs while they were brainstorming ideas for their next project based on the food they want to sell. Though, others prefer social media marketing, whereas only a few people would rather choose other productions.
"You want to advertise a pack of donuts with extra flavors and artificial sweeteners? Will that satisfy many customers' needs? Do you know that there are some who are diabetic and may have some food allergies?" The guy with nerdy glasses pointed out dully.
"I'm completely aware of that. But sugar is what we need in our lives, ya know," the brunette guy stated.
"Wow. How dumber can you get? Sugar is very bad for our health, so I suggest we go with healthier alternatives like honey," the girl with red hair said, scoffing.
"You mean vegan? Hah. No thanks," the blue-haired guy gritted his teeth in a grimace.
"Obviously. Being a vegan will change your lifestyle and make good choices," the red-haired girl said.
The black-haired guy decided to speak up. "What about creating a new set of interfaces where we can all use advanced social media wire-frames to simply connect with many users? Let's just say a bigger screen that we can step onto, which will activate our holograms?"
"And just how are we going to do that, Mr. Suckerberg?" The hazel-brown hair girl asked mockingly and continued on. "It's impossible if you think about it. More likely, the lamest idea I've ever heard. I would stick to the regular online communication."
"Excuse me?! But our generation is advancing to higher technology. This could totally change everything," the black-haired guy retorted defensively.
"Oh, please. The next thing that would've happened is robots taking over the world and it's already there," the hazel brown-hair girl said in exasperation.
"Yeah, you're adding too much stuff that will make people addicted to it, so why not do something that will save our planet instead of destroying it, you fool," the red-haired girl snorted out.
"What did you say, you bitch?!" the black-haired guy growled in annoyance.
"Enough!" A deep voice scolded boldly which caught their attention on him after getting startled at the moment.
He was wearing a black formal suit as he was fidgeting the pen in his hand. His eyes narrowed coldly towards their direction, making them frightened of how strict he is. Behind him indicates the signage of the Fairview Park Corporations where he was sitting directly at.
"All of your ideas are ludicrous. A big full of garbage. They are becoming redundant and mostly, pathetic," he banged his fist on the table, shocking them a little and yelping out as they squirmed in their seats. "If I ever hear another hogwash aim, I promise you I won't hesitate to kick you out of this company. Never again I will ever let you disgrace my father's name."
Everyone lowered their heads ruefully while they remained in silence, saying. "Sorry, sir."
He stared at his employees deadly and breathed out heavily as he slammed the pen on the side. He snapped his finger as he pointed to one of the guys in the back and demanded calmly. "You..."
"Me...?" The scrawny guy asked nervously.
"Yeah, you. Who else am I looking at? Now, show me what you got," he gestured while folding his hands together.
"Um... Okay, sir," the scrawny guy said faintly, standing up from his chair and turned on the projector screen as he cleared his throat. "My idea for this presentation is based on traveling." He then clicked on the button that shows the picture of Jeju Island and continued on. "This has brought many people together because of how peaceful and attractive it is. Not only it brings joy, fun, and anticipation, but it also brings memories. The most enjoyable part about Jeju Island is music since we want to live in that moment, not worrying about anything. That is why I'm presenting you a musical extravaganza show with all the lights, special effects, displays, and free surprising giveaways, including a photo booth to everyone. What is more important than spending time with your loved ones? Thank you."
As he concluded, the rest of the employees began to clap slowly with their hands as their lips curved into a wide grin, then faltered back when they noticed him signaling them to stop immediately.
He then leaned forward and rested his right arm and tapped the table with his index finger, saying calmly. "Jeju Island is definitely one of the most beautiful places in our country, despite the dark sides of history that foretell. However, do you honestly think that music will solve problems? How sure are you that people will buy into that? Your idea lacks knowledge and consistency, only demonstrating nonsense and emotions in this business. I suggest you find another strategic plan or else I will be the one to sign you off of the contract and lead you to the door as soon as it closes in front of you, along with your belongings. Is that clear?"
The scrawny guy shivered slightly and bowed his head down apologetically. "Yes, sir."
The boss stared at him inimically and glanced carefully towards his co-workers on the table, informing them. "If anyone of you here in this room does something completely idiotic like him, I swear I will not hesitate to fire you. Now, let's move onto the next set of course."
The others nodded in agreement and opened up their folders until one of his assistants knocked on the door gently.
"Sir! You have a guest. She's here," he said neutrally.
"Let her in. The rest of you should scram and get back to your own work," he ordered as they shuffled quickly off of their seats, exiting the doorway.
A few seconds later, a young woman wearing red heels with a black outfit came strutting slowly towards him with her eyes and a seductive smile appearing across her face.
"Babe..." she said huskily as she wrapped her arms behind him and kissed him on the side of his cheek. "I missed you."
He turned around and grabbed her hands to straddle him as he went closer to her face. "I missed you too, Chia. What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you and I was thinking that you need a break from work. Call it a day and let's go out for some hot pot," she said kissing his cheek, then she got rolled over his desk, whereas her arms laid out upfront and began to stroke his hair.
He started kissing her aggressively into a heated passion while his hands were roaming over her whole body and nibbled her collar bone, causing a slight moan out of her.
All of a sudden, there was a knock on the door that was locked.
"Sir! You have a visitor!" His assistant called.
The couple broke apart from each other as they were breathing heavily and looked up at his direction.
"I'll remind you soon," he whispered to her ear.
"Okay. You better hurry. I don't like to be kept waiting," Chia said flirtatiously, patting him lightly on his face and unlocking the door before she walked out.
He cleared his throat and fixed his hair up as he composed himself, saying. "Come in..."
Then, the girl entered the room with her eyes hovering towards him as she glistened nervously and greeted him politely. "Hello."
"Hi. To what do I owe you this afternoon?" He asked monotonously as he flips over the papers in the binder.
"My name is Valerie Nown. I'm a private detective from New York in regards to the case of the New Year's Eve party incident that happened three years ago and I just want to ask you a few questions..." she said gently and watched him leaned back in his chair and glanced at her bluntly.
"Ask away," he urged.
"Umm... I know that you are not in close contact with them, but what exactly happened to BTS? Why did you guys suddenly break up?" She asked formally.
"And why do you want to know?" He questioned as he narrowed his eyes at her in doubt.
"I asked you first," Valerie muttered.
He scoffed as he paused for a moment to stare at her mockingly. "Well then, if that means to entertain you, then be my guest. You see, I was one of the guys in the group to support them all the time. Though, I didn't appreciate the way they were tolerating. Now, does that answer your questions?"
Valerie remained silent for a few seconds and spoke up slowly. "No. I don't understand. The thing is, there are still some fans that are wondering what caused you to disband so suddenly. There are those who actually do care," she explained simply.
"That's a stupid reason," he remarked.
Park Jimin. A business CEO of Fairview Park Corporation was very successful with managing the operations and resources with the board of directors and working with trustworthy clients in different kinds of projects. He was respected by many, whom they knew how he cooperated. One mistake can lead to a huge disaster that will disrupt the company.
Of course, he was scary as a mochi. If anyone made disarray or made any excuses, he would surely fire them and destroy their life. His eyes were filled with hostility and strictness that everyone else had feared.
Valerie asked as she kept a genuine smile on her face. "Don't you want to figure out this dilemma? Aren't you curious?"
"It doesn't matter. Let me remind you because I'm only going to say this once, my past does not concern you. I could care less if you're a detective or Sherlock Holmes. Leave before I gain another headache from you," he ordered calmly.
"But joining back in the Big-hit agency will mean something to you," Valerie pointed out desperately.
"I refused to go back to that useless damp of a hole," Jimin sneered bitterly.
"You said to yourself that music and dance have always been your passion," Valerie said with a slight frown.
"I let go of that dream and I will never go back. There's your answer. Now leave or else I will ban you forever coming here," Jimin raised his voice irritatingly.
"For once in your life, just tell me-" Valerie begged.
"Guards!" Jimin called when the two men in black suits came in and grabbed Valerie's arms out.
"Why?!" She questioned desperately and continued on. "You, Taehyung, and Jungkook must have some misunderstanding-"
"Get her out!" Jimin demanded angrily and watched her being dragged away from the room until she was led outside the main floor harshly.
They scoffed at her nastily and walked away, whereas Valerie looked down and sighed frustratingly as soon as she left the building.
On the other hand, Jimin was sitting in his chair and continued on to do his paperwork until his guards informed him that the visitor was gone and he thanked them for doing their job. They bowed down respectfully to him and went back to their original positions.
Although, his eyes began to wander at the sheet that was placed on the side of the table in which he read carefully the name of his former group. He became annoyed and started crumpling it into a ball before tossing it into the trash can.425Please respect copyright.PENANA1C5YDNicyM
