Reminiscing a few years back, some of the celebrities were invited to the party that BTS is currently hosting at the Plaza Hotel building. They had given the cards to the receptionist and what their reservation is. The lucky fans also got selected by the raffle tickets online to attend with them.
"Wow! I can't believe it? That's such exciting news! You're actually going to meet them. I mean, who would've thought?" Sally said gleefully and continued on to groan. "I want to be one of those people so bad, but ugh... I'm so jealous and I may not get the chance to see them and most of all, Yoongi."
"Relax. I'll give him your number, so you two can have a nice chat. Though, I don't know if that's possible," the dark brunette girl thought weirdly.
"Really? Come on, it's time to break the impossible and turn it possible," Sally quoted.
"Alright. I'll see what I can do, but remember BTS has very tight security and I have to ask for one of the staff members' permission to speak to Yoongi," she chuckled slightly.
"Ahh! Yay! You're the best. Hey, what about you?" Sally asked curiously.
"Me?" The dark brunette repeated in puzzlement.
"Yeah. Don't you want to meet up with Dooly? Wait. Doesn't he remember you from our high school? He's changed a lot," Sally pointed out.
"I'm not sure if I do... I agree. He did change in a good way and very, very subtle..." the dark brunette trailed off of her words as she bit down on her lip nervously.
"What's wrong? You seem to go quiet all of a sudden," Sally asked worriedly.
"I'm fine. I just remembered something, you know," she said reassuringly. She was staring at the necklace she was holding, which was a silver butterfly necklace. Then, she carefully placed it down on top of the drawer.
"You know, you can tell me anything, so please allow me to ask you this... Weren't you guys friends before? I mean, I wasn't there in our whole senior year because my parents and I had to move out since they got new jobs at Massachusetts. I had to study there," Sally explained gently.
"Don't worry about it. You didn't have a choice, so it's understandable," she noted.
"Okay. So tell me... Weren't you two friends?" Sally asked again.
The dark brunette, on the other hand, paused for a moment and answered. "Yes... We were. It's such a long time and we are not in close contact anymore. I'm going to be late. I got to go now, bye!"
"Wait! How is that-" Her question got cut off when the phone ended the dial, which the girl sighed out in relief.
She closed her eyes and tilted her head down. Staring at her reflection in the mirror, she was contemplating in mind whether she should back out and give her ticket to someone else.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to see him again. I got to get over myself. What's important is that I'm there for the rest of the group," she thought boldly in her mind. Pursing her lips and sighing tiredly, she stood near the door glass window to watch the cars pass by.
She nodded and slid the curtain closed, then walked over to her closet. From there, she gazed at her red satin off-shoulder, knee-length dress, along with the black strap high heels that she bought four days ago. She touched it gently with her fingertips, tracing further down to the bottom, and couldn't be more thrilled.
Later on at 10:00 pm, all the guests were settled down on their tables while they were having different conversations about their business meetings and upcoming projects. On the contrary, the dark brunette almost came in late and found her seat at the right corner of the room, which is near to the stage. She glanced around hurriedly and lowered her head down in shyness where the two random guys in black suits were staring across from her in awe.
Then, the woman with a sparkly sequin navy blue long dress leaned in over to her shoulder and whispered.
"You look stunning," she said, smiling genuinely and continued on. "They're admired by your beauty."
"Hehe. Thanks. I just took a quick shower and threw on a bit of makeup. That's all," the dark brunette giggled nervously with a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Sometimes, being simple can be interesting," the woman stated and grinned.
The dark brunette nodded firmly and took a sip of a glass of water. She saw the leader of the boy group, stepping in front of the stage and heading towards the microphone, then clears his throat.
"Hi, everyone. Thank you all for coming in. You know, I usually don't do a lot of heartfelt speeches other than the one I did at the United Nations. But I would like to say a few words. First, I would like to thank the staff and our manager for making this event to celebrate, not only the accomplishments that we worked hard for over the years. Though it is mostly to celebrate my best buddy, V's birthday," Namjoon said with a proud smirk, making them applaud him.
The dark brunette was clapping with both of her hands as well when she checked over the boys, who were laughing and patting him on the back.
"I know that there have been tough days where we sometimes lack sleep due to the tremendous amount of work we've put on, especially when we were traveling around the world for a tour. However, we still kept going because music and dance have been our passion since birth and they are the reasons why they motivate us, inspire us, and it wouldn't happen if it wasn't for the fans," Namjoon paused for a moment to push his eyeglasses forward his nose, then continued on. "So I would love to thank them and our families' support..."
Jungkook's eyes began to land over the message that popped up in Taehyung's phone, causing him to startle out in shock. "Hyung. Is that Chanyeol?"
"Yeah. Why?" He asked skeptically as he grabbed his phone to read it.
"Nothing. Just wondering because it seems that he's thanking you for helping him and his friends with their moves," Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows confusedly.
"Hmm. It's something that I'm willing to do," Taehyung said faintly while he was texting under the table to reply back.
"Oh, okay," Jungkook murmured quietly until he received a notification about a video of EXO's new concept teaser of their song previewing their choreography. That's when he started to become even more suspicious. "What?"
"What is it?" Jimin glanced at him blankly.
"Look," Jungkook leaned in with a whisper and held his phone closer to his face.
Jimin's facial expression became astonished as his mouth agape, then slightly hovered his gaze at Taehyung. "That was one of our new dance moves... How did they upload their comeback so fast? Their ratings are going higher."
Jungkook widened his eyes alarmingly and elbowed his friend on the arm, questioning angrily with a hiss. "Hyung... Did you really show them the moves? You know, that was supposed to be our idea for the next album!"
Taehyung raised his head up and breathed out silently. "You guys didn't inform me earlier. You were all busy talking about who's singing the first lines."
"It doesn't mean that you should give credit to them. That's illegal," Jimin pointed out with a glare.
"Technically, it's not because you never asked..." Taehyung retorted back defensively.
"Guys, keep it low. Namjoon is still speaking," Jin shushed them as he placed his index finger between his lips.
Jimin and Jungkook were glaring at Taehyung in disappointment and continued to listen to their friend enclosing his speech instead.
"Now, that dinner is ready, let's get this party started!" Namjoon hollered coolly.
"Woooohoooo!!!" Everyone bumped up their fists in the air and clapped once the music started to play in the background. The waiters and waitresses arrived at each table to serve the main course of the food on their plates.
Jungkook wiped his nose, sniffing before he stood up from his chair to go to the washroom, whereas Taehyung followed behind.
"Kook! Wait!" He called out, much to the others' surprise.
Although, the young man was ignoring him and shoved the washroom door open to wash his hands in the sink.
"Wait!" Taehyung called again and entered to explain loudly. "Jungkook! I'm sorry! Okay, I didn't mean to upset you, alright? Listen, their mentor had to go on emergency leave because his mother is dying of cancer. No one was available at that time to teach the group their choreography and you know how busy the other crew's schedule was, so I decided to volunteer and help them out for a little while. What is so wrong about that?!"
"Nothing!" Jungkook lied as he looked up at him neutrally.
Taehyung became puzzled and rolled his eyes, saying. "That's nonsense. I've known you ever since and I know how you react to these kinds of situations like this. There's no reason for you to get mad at me because you would've done the same thing for them."
Jungkook blinked a few times and stared at him deadly. "You are right. I would... with permission!"
"See? That's the problem there! You think that every decision I make solely depends on you when it's not. You need to stop being so controlling all the time. I thought we were past that already," Taehyung argued.
"Maybe not. Imagine how the rest of them feel when they find out what you did. Oh, wait? Sooner or later, they will," Jungkook said sarcastically.
Then, the door was pushed open by Jimin, who was glancing back and forth between them and casually crossed his arms.
"It must be true," he said sternly, giving a cold stare at Taehyung.
"Oh! Come on, you guys! This was only a one-time experience and you can't accuse me of something that was unintentional," he sighed in exasperation.
"Are you sure about that? What if they all know that you are befriending EXO? Think about that for a second," Jimin sneered.
"I did! And I don't regret it," Taehyung admitted, much to their bewilderment.
The three of them stood in silence while the two men were continuously gazing at him discontentedly.
"Guys!" A familiar voice called out as the footsteps were coming closer to the door, who was none other than Jin himself, panting heavily and holding the door with his hand gripped on the handle. "Namjoon wants all of us to perform our number."
Jimin looked at Jungkook calmly and nodded in understanding. "Okay..."
"We'll be there in just a second," he answered monotonously.
"Good. Hurry up, then," Jin reminded and walked away from them.
On the other hand, Taehyung lowered his head down to avoid eye contact with them when he started to exit the washroom, but his shoulder was gripped tightly by Jungkook's grasp in which he stopped immediately.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes at their backs and breathed slowly through his nostrils to steady his composure. Fixing his tie and clearing his throat, he began to head back inside the room and sat on his chair with a faltering smile on his face. Yet, Yoongi and Hoseok were the only ones who noticed his emotions that were displayed on his face.
"Okay. Now, there are some of you who requested for us and we would like to dedicate this performance to you all," Namjoon announced gently and signaled the boys to stand up from the table to go to the stage with him.
The dark brunette and the other guests were clapping until they waited for them to prepare in their own positions. All the lights turned off, leaving only one where the song started to play.
(Jungkook): "Do your thang
Do your thang with me now
Do your thang
Do your thang with me now
What's my thang
What's my thang tell me now
Tell me now"
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(Suga): "Ayy
The heart no longer races
When hearing the music play
Tryna' pull up
Seems like time has stopped
Oh that would be my first death
I been always afraid of"
(V, Jimin): "Heartbeat racing in my ears
Bump, bump, bump
Eyes wide open into my forest
Jump, jump, jump
No song affects me anymore
Crying out a silent cry"
(Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jin): "Ocean with all light silenced shut yeah, yeah, yeah
My wandering feet held in a rut yeah, yeah, yeah
Every noise and sound's been cut yeah, yeah, yeah
Killin' me now, killin' me now
Do you hear me yeah..."
Jimin and Jungkook were secretly glaring at Taehyung as they both nudged him a little on his shoulder, much to the girl's startlement.
"What is going on with them? They seem mad at him. But what could it be?" She suspected peculiarly in mind.
At that moment, her phone vibrated in her hands as she unlocked it after seeing her friend's message.
"Don't forget to send me lots of pictures and videos with BTS," Sally said with a winking emoji.
"No problem," she answered simply while typing the words rapidly, then shut off her screen to continue watching.
(J-Hope): "Deeper
Yeah, I think I'm going' deeper
I keep losing focus
No, just let go of me
Let my own feet carry me
I'll go in myself
In the deepest depths
I saw myself, myself"
(Jimin, V, Jin, Jungkook): "Ocean with all light silenced shut yeah, yeah, yeah
My wandering feet held in a rut yeah, yeah, yeah
Every noise and sound's been cut yeah, yeah, yeah
Killin' me now, killin' me now
Do you hear me yeah
Sinking slowly like in a trance nah, nah, nah
Struggle but it's all ocean floor nah, nah
Every moment becomes eternity yeah, yeah, yeah
Film it now, film it now
Do you hear me yeah..."
Once their performance ended, everyone started to cheer and whistle when the guys bowed down to them respectfully with their smiles.
"Thank you!" Hoseok exclaimed brightly.
"Alright. It's time for y'all to hit the dance floor!" Jin shouted actively as soon as the DJ put his headphones on and turned the volume buttons up when the modern music remix was playing. Several guests got up from their seats and made their way to the center while they started swaying their movements and doing acrobatics.
During that time, the dark brunette was looking around to find Yoongi and saw him entering the kitchen to speak with the employees. She bolted up and jogged all the way to his direction, whereas Jimin's eyes landed on her strangely.
He was starting to figure out who the person was, but couldn't pinpoint at what she clearly looks like since there were other people blocking his view. He was tapped lightly on the shoulder, making him turn around.
"Hey. Are you looking for somebody?" Hoseok asked.
Jimin went black and answered with a shrug. "Sort of."
"Ahh. Is it someone special?" He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.
"No... I'm just skeptical," Jimin scoffed, shaking his head in annoyance.
"Okie Dokie," Hoseok chirped, then left when he went to go and blend in with the others on the floor.
Meanwhile, two of the staff members had carefully placed the four-layered cake on the circular cardboard and organized it before they pushed the cart towards the door. They displayed it near the windows as Yoongi thanked them with a curt nod. He gasped slightly at the girl, who was holding onto the paper and giving it to him shyly.
"Hi, Yoongi! You don't know me, but one of my friends has been a huge fan of yours and the way you deliver your songs like Agust D and First Love is totally awesome. Anyway, she wants to meet you in person and wants to be friends with you. Sorry for causing trouble, but I promise you that we are not those crazy, obsessive fans that you-" She didn't get to finish her sentence, even though she was nervously blurting out.
Yoongi held his hand kindly to stop her and asked, smiling warmly. "It's alright. I would love to meet your friend. What's her name?"
"Sally," she answered shortly.
Yoongi nodded and took the paper from her hand and folded it neatly, then slid it into his left pocket. "She has a nice name."
"Yeah. That's my bestie," the dark brunette said, grinning happily.
"So you enjoying the party?" Yoongi asked with a gesture.
"Definitely. I mostly enjoyed watching you guys perform and not to forget how splendid Namjoon's speech was," she said wholeheartedly.
"He is very expressive and thoughtful about the things and the people he cares about," Yoongi said, chuckling while he was rubbing the back of his head and complimented her. "You are gorgeous.
"Thanks and you're a cute-looking guy with the gummy bear smile that every girl adores," the dark brunette giggled, then she started to hear loud voices near them in wonder. She looked behind her, then looked back at him anxiously. "What's going on there?"
"I don't know. But this doesn't sound good at all," Yoongi noted firmly and walked out of the kitchen to know what is happening in the scene.
"Let's stop for a moment right now and appreciate what our dear friend has done for all of us. Taehyung, you have been a fun-loving, playful, and outgoing person that we love so much. You steal our food or sneak them before the start of our rehearsals sometimes. He's a hungry dude and may not survive if there's none," Jungkook joked teasingly, much to the others' laughter.
"What are you doing?" Taehyung gritted his teeth with a hiss.
"Describing you and how important you are. As I was saying, he sometimes goes to different meetings with the other groups for giving them the best time of their lives. He sings so low that he barely can go any deeper than he already is," Jungkook said, plastering a fake smile and continued on decisively. "Deeper into his little secret..."
Everyone else remained silent on their spot, including the dark brunette girl that was feeling astounded as she shuffled herself quickly beside them.
"Jungkook. That's enough!" Taehyung scolded to raise his voice.
"Why? Because I'm letting everybody else in the room finally discover who you really are," he said, laughing scornfully. "Guess what, y'all? He made a devious bargain with EXO by giving them our choreography because he is too kind. Happy Birthday, Hyung..."
He then walked away from them as they all gasped in dismay when they started to whisper amongst themselves indistinctly.
"How could you?" Taehyung asked fuming when he shoved him on the back with his hands.
"No. How could you? You've been nothing but a liar, a cheater to the group. You made a promise that you wouldn't dare to help them and yet, you insisted," Jungkook pointed out, facing him with a scowl.
"I had no choice. I've told you about how their mentor's mother is dying of cancer. Do you obviously think this was an easy decision to make? I had to do what's right because nobody was there," Taehyung said desperately and continued on. "How selfish can you be to question me as if you have the authority?"
"EXO has a lot of options to call anyone to help them with their projects. Anyone can take that initiative and you are working with us. Not with them, so this is not an excuse," Jimin remarked frigidly.
"For you it is. But for me, I'm doing what I can to help others' needs. Unlike you, you only care about our group's reputation," Taehyung commented.
Jimin stepped in front of him and shoved him on the chest harshly. "What the hell did you just say?!"
Taehyung retaliated back and clenched his teeth. "You heard me! You're arrogant like him. You two are just the same."
Jungkook suddenly ran up to him and punched him furiously on the left side of his face, making the others gasp in shock.
Taehyung punched him as well, whereas Jimin kept shoving him down to the floor until they were beating him up as the cameras were flashing behind them and shouting.
"Guys! Stop!" Yoongi yelled vehemently, yet they didn't listen.
Then, Jin and Hoseok clutched tightly onto Jimin and Jungkook's shoulders to pull them separately from Taehyung, who already has his nose bleeding.
"Boys!!" The BigHit manager screamed grimacingly when he started to approach them at the sight of what he apparently had seen. "This... this is a disgrace. How dare you put yourselves into such humiliation? What are you some kind of amateurs? New Year's is coming up and you are going back to your old ways? How pathetic. I will speak to the three of you privately."
Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung gazed at him apologetically and noticed that everyone was staring at them awkwardly.
Namjoon couldn't help but feel disappointed in them while crossing his arms.
The dark brunette, on the other hand, frowned at them until she heard a ticking noise coming from the cake and glanced towards the other direction.
"Everyone! There's a bomb!" She exclaimed out loud with a warning, making them all terrified as they started to fuss around the room.
Unfortunately, it was all locked, which further puzzled them.
"Why is this locked?!" One of the guests asked, panicking.
"I don't know!! Someone must've closed it without even knowing!" Another one guessed.
She quickly grabbed her black leather jacket on the chair and went up to cover the cake as soon as it exploded into pieces of crumbs, splatting her whole entire figure. She stumbled back, whereas everyone else fell down unconsciously to the floor as the smoke was infiltrating their surroundings. Her eyes were closing slowly before she succumbed to darkness.

...
"911, what's your emergency?" A voice called out on the phone.
"Yeah, everyone passed out by the massive smoke and a few of them are hyperventilating," a guy with a mask informed.
"What's your location?" A woman's voice asked.
"New York, Plaza Hotel," he answered.
"Okay. We are currently on our way," she said, then ended the dial.

Later on, the others had already woken up and were standing outside of the building about to head home while some of them were lying down on the stretchers and were carefully placed inside the ambulances.
The dark brunette was sitting on the stairs of the main entrance as she groaned at the throbbing pain on her head and fluttered her eyes open when she saw Sally and Ava hugging her.
"Thank goodness. You're awake!!" They said gladly.
"Yeah," she mumbled weakly.
"You okay?! What happened?" Ava asked worriedly.
"I-I don't know. I just heard a ticking bomb inside the cake, so I warned everyone to get out, but the doors were locked," she explained, frowning.
"I see. Hey, I've heard that BTS went back to their private hotel," Sally said and continued on, grinning excitingly. "By the way, Yoongi greeted me in person. Can you believe that? That's crazy."
"Totally," Ava nodded and chuckled.
"Hmm..." the dark brunette hummed in response as she gazed off into space.
"What's wrong? You seem a bit glum. Did something happen at the party?" Sally asked concernedly.
"Well, yeah. But if I tell you, would you swear not to tell anyone about it? The thing is... Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung had an argument," she stated faintly.
"What?!" They asked in bewilderment.
"But how and why?" Ava became confused.
The dark brunette lowered her head down gloomily and sighed in exhaustion. "Taehyung helped EXO with their choreography for their new song that was posted recently today, so Jimin and Jungkook became mad at how he gave the credit to them. They tried to beat him up, but luckily Jin and Hoseok stopped them before they went any further. Just imagine the three of us fighting in front of the guests. That would be pretty hilarious for some..."
"Haha. Hopefully, it doesn't happen. Don't worry, I'm sure they will come to a resolve," Sally said softly.
"Look, Taehyung is not at fault here. He didn't do it on purpose, you know," the dark brunette pointed out.
"Considering the fact that those two are quite jealous of how close friends he is with them doesn't mean they should hurt their friend. I'm shocked that they literally did that," Ava said in disgust and continued on in thought. "Jimin and Jungkook should have told Taehyung about it before if they wanted to keep the choreography. It's not like he's able to read their minds."
"Agree," Sally said.
The dark brunette nodded and stood up from her spot while she wore her jacket on. "Well, there's no point in sulking now."
Sally smiled and said. "Yeah. Even if you missed the countdown, there's always next year."
"Yep, she's right," Ava said, chuckling. "Come on, let's all go home."
The dark brunette nodded with a smile as the three of them were strolling on the sidewalk and headed towards the parking lot.455Please respect copyright.PENANAwGLnkJhiJk
