From there, Valerie continued to stare at Chia and Royen with two guns directed at their quivering bodies. As soon as she heard shuffling movements behind her, one of them spoke out in awe.
"Val..." he said.
"Dino and DK," she became surprised.
"Vernon told us you needed a helping hand," Dino recalled.
"We've come to arrest them," DK said as they both went over Chia and Royen's backs to lock their wrists with the handcuffs.
They pulled them up on their feet to move along.
"Don't touch me!" She growled furiously, shrugging her shoulders away from Dino, and gave him a revolting stare. "Ugh!"
DK, on the other hand, was grasping onto Royen's arms and glanced back, saying. "I see you've detonated the bombs."
"Hmm," Valerie responded and mentioned. "It was all thanks to your friend."
"He is the best," DK commented.
Valerie nodded with a warm smile and watched them exit the doorway while they were pushing Chia and Royen forward. She took a careful examination of the room, pondering on what she should do at this moment. For some reason, she was starting to become perplexed since she encountered every opponent trying to annihilate her. Sighing to herself, she gazed towards the object that was lying on top of the wooden boxes.
Back on the fifth floor, everyone was still facing the opposite of each other with the armaments in their hands. The tension was surfacing around them of every ounce of resentment, anger, and dolefulness.
Bryan decided to question in a demanding tone of his voice. "What the hell happened at the New Year's Eve Party and led them to disband?"
Kai burst out laughing, saying. "You're asking me. How redundant. They're the ones who literally started their childish and petty fight. In fact, you should thank Chanyeol and my friends for setting up that birthday cake! That was definitely a cherry on top."
"You didn't think about the people you've harmed because you wanted to achieve your ambitious goals. You're the reason why my friends almost broke up due to the scandals you've pinned on us," Jimin argued seethingly.
"Obviously, but that's not what I came here for. You see, your friend has stolen what was mine and I would like to have it back. That also includes the diamonds..." Kai stated gleefully, but his eyes twinkled in vexation.
"You can never have them," Bryan declared.
"Certainly, I can. They belong to me," Kai said, raising his pistol gun towards him before pulling a trigger.
As the bullet had struck out of the hole, Jimin used a protective shield that fired back at the right side of the wall. Bryan blinked a few times anxiously, just when he knew that the battle had set in motion.
All of them charged against one another. They were shooting and crouching down to aim the parts of their bodies, whereas a few of them eluded to different floors to camp.
Fifteen minutes later had passed and the ammunition was depleting gradually in each of their missiles. Rather, half of the members were fighting physically and grappling on with oscillation.
Jimin & Kai's POV
Kai continued to launch both of the guns in his hands simultaneously at Jimin, who started to counterattack with the colt weapon. He ducked and spun himself around to hit him, but he missed. Jimin hid behind the interior column wall, panting ardently, and clicked his gun to prepare the next bullets. He showed up quickly to attack again, this time targeting his upper thigh, causing Kai to grunt and shoot Jimin's lower abdomen.
"Ah!" He exclaimed and shot back, wounding his right arm. He dropped the empty colt and tackled him on the floor.
"Ugh!" Kai growled heatedly and swung his fist against Jimin's cheek. He plummeted through his stomach.
Jimin clenched his teeth in pain and punched back a couple of times across his face until he was kicked by the chin. He stood up and steadied himself from wobbling. He bent his knees down and curled his fists.
Kai also stood up and cracked his head from side to side with a smug expression. "I see you've gotten taller. I'm impressed by your punches, but not enough to outsmart me. You're going to lose, Park."
He then raised his punch forward and tried to triple kick him, but Jimin kept ducking and dodging his attack before using a few of the martial art techniques. Yet, Kai was able to retaliate the same moves and strike him through the chest grimly.
"Argh!" Jimin stumbled back and coughed the blood out.
Kai smirked maliciously with a chuckle. "Giving up soon?"
"Not quite," Jimin heaved out and wiped it off the corner of his mouth. He began to charge and jab him with every single step, whilst Kai was also dodging and beat him up a couple of times.
Taehyung & Chanyeol's POV
The two young men were breathing fervently after one of them received bruises on their eyes and waists. They were standing eight meters apart, setting their gaze to their bodies.
"You betrayed me all along and I trusted you..." Taehyung argued, whilst holding onto his wounded arm. It was slightly bleeding due to the bullet that pierced through his muscle.
"I've had my own reasons. My group was falling apart because you and your friends were earning the limelight from the public eye. We were almost at the very peak of separation, then that's when I had to choose another option. And that is to acquire a great conception," Chanyeol shrugged with a satisfied smirk.
"I should've known you stole our choreography and music..." Taehyung shook his head in fretfulness.
"You were a very candid and credulous person, who is too friendly with people, just like what your hyungs said about you. I had to gain your trust during those times of our rehearsals," Chanyeol described dully.
"So you're telling me that your choreographer's family emergency was all made up?" Taehyung queried in confusion.
"Oh no, dude. That story is true. My, my, Tae. What do you think of us?" Chanyeol snorted.
"Ruthless beings," Taehyung answered, clenching his fists tightly.
"And you are a good boy. That's what you are and you will always be one," Chanyeol guffawed in amusement and added in. "Your career as a saxophonist will flop once your bandmates leave you, just like your former group."
Taehyung dashed furiously and swung his fist against his cheek and kneed him on his private part.
Chanyeol reacted as he elbowed him on his back, along with the punches.
"Hmph," Taehyung staggered and touched his bottom lip that was slightly bleeding.
Chanyeol smirked and hit a couple of blows at his head and upper body. He could care less about his knuckles turning sorely red. He watched him collapse on the floor and belittled him to the extent. "Feeling numb yet?"
Taehyung was about to smack and kick him upward, but he got beaten up from left to right.
"Such a weakling," Chanyeol remarked nastily as he resumed his attacks on him.
As he was about to stomp his foot on Taehyung, his eyes widened when he noticed his ankle being gripped in a crucial twist of 240° angle.
"Gaah! Fuck!" Chanyeol cursed in pain as he fell back and cradled his leg.
Taehyung was shifting on the floor away from him and continued to breathe. He uttered the same words quietly in a serious tone. "How about that? Are you feeling numb as well?"
Chanyeol growled bitterly and spat. "Fuck you, Tae."
"The same goes to you too," Taehyung scoffed slightly with a smirk and pushed himself up to watch him clutch his ankle soothingly.
Jungkook & Sehun's POV
"Argh!" He gasped tiredly and dangled his wrists, then curled them. There were a few sweats forming into droplets on his forehead as he kept jabbing towards his opponent constantly. It was becoming repetitive and no good outcome was deriving.
"Hehe. So hasty," Sehun commented and continued to dodge till he made an uppercut. "You're not the only one who knows boxing."
Jungkook stumbled backward and held his chin from the discomfort he received. Then, he wrapped his arms around Sehun's body before he wrestled him on the floor. Thus, he was punching him in the chest.
Sehun grunted in pain since he was shot by the shoulder. He kicked him on the stomach and bolted upright to swing his fist. However, he missed his attack. His eyes glimmered mischievously and taunted. "You're a tough cookie that is difficult to crack, eh? Even so, your bones will break because my group and I will eventually cease you."
Jungkook stepped back and said angrily. "You've already destroyed everything we have. What more could you possibly want? You nearly killed Valerie."
"Yes, that was quite close. It would be better if you both have burned in the wildfire. That would have been a blasting show," Sehun nodded thoughtfully.
"Not really. It's you who should've been there. Not her, not everyone, and simply not me," Jungkook stated sharply and began to charge forward to pummel him.
Sehun ducked his head and kicked his heel against the side of his head.
Jungkook blocked his punch. He immediately slipped to the right and combined the moves on him, which were hook-upper-cut-round kicks.
Sehun lifted his leg and dragged his whole body to slam harshly on the floor.
As a result, Jungkook rolled over and groaned achingly.
"Pitiful. You just had to be madly in love over heels with that Valerie," Sehun remarked mockingly and approached him at a moderate pace. "How sickening."
Jungkook glanced over to the left and saw a medium-sized metal pole lying near him. He grabbed it and pushed himself up on his feet. He spun it above his head for a few seconds before hurling it across Sehun's neck and front kick aggressively on his abdomen.
Therefore, his head and back hit against the interior column wall, leading him to slide down in a total slump position.
"Never underestimate a golden maknae..." Jungkook stated as he was staring and panting breathlessly at the sight of Sehun's unconscious dangled body. He threw the metal pole off to the area with a clunking noise.
Hoseok & Baekhyun's POV
They both block every punch and kick, but Hoseok was being wheeled all over until he was sent flying to the wooden boxes.
"Ahh!" He exclaimed and scrunched up his nose. He hissed and clutched on his waist due to the soreness. "Huhu..."
Baekhyun scoffed and said with a jeering smile. "Your experience of pain is hilarious..."
Hoseok slowly got up and tried to steady himself, narrowing his eyes at him. "Your name is one too. I don't know how the rest of the people in the world are going to pronounce it. I wonder what they would think before they eat a breakfast meal."
Is that supposed to make me laugh?" Baekhyun snorted and tilted his head sideways. "Just the thought of watching you fart on live made you an entire joke of the sports community. It's repulsive, actually."
"There's nothing wrong with that. Besides, I was sabotaged at that time during my tournament," Hoseok said sternly as he stood apart from him.
"Oh, poor you. I guess you don't notice other people despising you because of your ego as a tennis player," Baekhyun pointed out and smirked. "That humiliation served you right. I gotta say, I admire that Chang-sub guy more than you."
He then scampered and grabbed a wooden plank before he bashes it on his body.
Hoseok acted fast when he threw the ax, which cut it in half.
Baekhyun loses his grip on the wooden plank as they plunge in a thudding noise. Angered by his eagerness, he tackled him without hesitation.
The two of them were rolling over, making all the boxes toppled off. Hence, the taser slipped out, much to Hoseok's alarm.
He clutched onto it as soon as he activated the button and electric shock Baekhyun on his side.
"Arghh!!" He screamed agonizingly when his body was quaking involuntarily for ten seconds.
In just about a few minutes, he wheezed out and flicked his eyelids, altering his expression in outrage. "You fucking shit head... I swear I will steal your title and end your witless career!"
Hoseok smiled melancholically as he was gazing at him. "You can tear my name down as J-Hope, but you can never tear everyone down into losing hope because the truth of the matter is... There is hope."
Baekhyun was glaring daggers while he was on his knees, holding gently on his arm bruises.
Namjoon & Suho's POV
Gunshots were fired, making a ruckus in the background and they were very cautious on every move.
Namjoon was crawling under the concrete cylinder and held his handgun firmly.
"Come out, Professor Kim. You can't be camping all the time or else your students will think you're being such a big wimp," Suho taunted playfully as he was twirling his weapon between his fingers. He stopped by and observed the stacked crates blankly in front of him.
Namjoon shut his eyes and drew his breath in thought. "I'll just wait..."
A deafening sound of wood had ruptured, which made him flinched and covered his face with his arms.
"I found you," Suho grinned sadistically and fired his gun at his body.
Namjoon rolled away in quick haste and raised his gun to aim towards his left wrist and leg two times.
"Gah!" Suho shrieked in anguish after releasing his firearm out of his hand. He collapsed and growled seethingly. "I will fucking kill you! You're just a dumb teacher with dumb lessons. More so, a shitty leader!!"
Namjoon pushed himself up on his feet and softened his eyes. "You may think that way, but I'm not going to prove what it means to be those things. You're going to figure that yourself. I'm not perfect, but you can never undervalue the power of knowledge..."
Suho hitched his breath and said scornfully. "Like I give a shit."
"It's up to you," Namjoon's lip curled into a half-smile, knowing that he is indeed weary.
Jin & Chen's POV
Their fists had clashed and wrestled with their heads rigidly. None of them thought of surrendering, so they kept tangling with their arms and legs.
Chen began to jab towards his stomach.
They stumbled away, whereas Jin front kicked him on his private part.
Chen was clutching his hands to cover it up, gritting his teeth in irritation. "Ugh! You really shouldn't do that!"
"You threaten to burn down my restaurant and my employees, which is the only business I have left," Jin said calmly.
"So what? You got your friends back. Although, I would like to see you get torture by this!" Chen exclaimed as he raised a sharp blade from his jeans to impale him.
Promptly, Jin instantly grabbed a broken glass from the crates before smashing it against the top of his head. The shards had fallen around them, including himself.
"You talk too much..." Jin mumbled faintly and tossed the bottle in disregard.
Yoongi & Xiumin's POV
On the other hand, the two young men were brawling with their punches and kicks after they had run out of their bullets in their guns.
Yoongi received slightly dark bruises on his cheekbones, whereas Xiumin's nose had bled.
Xiumin smirked cruelly at him, saying. "Your basketball career will flop. You should've resigned already... Anybody can replace you that easily."
"In the next couple of years, but I don't see that happening," Yoongi noted.
"The death threats didn't faze you, eh? Not even the vandalism on your house property," Xiumin snorted and continued on. "There should have been a more grandiose eruption, along with your impulsive girlfriend."
Yoongi found a mini lighter and secretly gazed at his opponent in thought. "Hopefully, this will distract him."
They were breathing heavily until Xiumin didn't realize his pants were catching on fire.
"Ahh!!" He yelped and patted them out, but he got splashed by water before getting knocked out.
"Idiot..." Yoongi muttered as he gripped his fist and shook his head inattentively.
Seventeen & EXO's POV
Joshua raised his hands up defensively, saying. "Look, man. We don't want to hurt you. This is getting tiring, so let's have accommodation..."
"You're kidding me, right?" Lay scoffed lightly and continued on. "Who would want to have a peace treaty with some lowly group? No thanks."
"You don't have to. We've already given up our weapons," Vernon said quietly.
"Please... Your simple act of kindness is leading you nowhere," D.O. remarked and shook his head dismissively. He continued on as he clicked his gun to target them. "Have fun in hell."
Abruptly, the smoking bomb was rolling by their feet before the ignition started in their surroundings. Lay and D.O got smacked on their heads by a wooden plank, much to Joshua and Vernon's shock.
Bryan was wearing a face shield and jogged all the way to their side. He passed each one onto the Seventeen members.
"Looks like D.O just got KO'd," Joshua hollered with a swag gesture, smirking proudly.
"Where were you?" Vernon asked curiously.
"I had to search for other tools to distract these lunatics. Plus, I found a signal on my phone to call the cops, but someone else already did," Bryan answered, exhaling out in relief.
"Who?" Joshua wondered.
"I have no clue. They told me they are unable to mention a person's name," Bryan shrugged.
"The good news is that they're coming," Vernon said gladly.
"Hmm," Bryan hummed in response and glanced around to see that only a few remaining are still battling with one another.
Jimin & Kai's POV
Both of them were wrestling one another as their bodies fell down and rolled away. Kai was on top of Jimin as he kept beating him up until his nose was bleeding.
"No matter how many times you use your methods. It's pointless because I always win!" He stated viciously and started to choke his neck.
Jimin was gagging and his eyes hovered to find the weakest spot, which was Kai's wound on his upper thigh. Then, he pressed it so harshly, provoking him to scream.
"Ahhh!" Kai let go of his grasp and staggered back.
Jimin bolted upright to pummel and used a Brazilian kick on him.
Successfully, Kai bent over a little as his body was near the wall.
Jimin was about to pulverize him, but his fist instantly stopped at the approximate meters of Kai's face. His nostrils were flaring and exhaling out of breath before he lowered his hand.
"What the hell was that for? Finish me!!!" Kai demanded vehemently.
"I'm not like you," Jimin said, gritting his teeth in annoyance. He slowly turned around to walk away.
Kai was about to wrangle his hands on his head, but he suddenly got flipped in a twisted turn with his back on the floor. He started to become dizzy as soon as he got an uppercut for the last time with his nose bleeding.
"I was hoping we could've come to a resolution. Since you refused, there's no chance for me to be back in the Padding Squad," Jimin noted.
Kai was gazing up at him and chuckled in amusement. "You're never going to understand, neither all of your friends. I'm doing you a huge kind favor, especially towards that freakish Valerie."
"No, you did not. You've brought too much turbulence and affliction on everybody else around here. You deserve more than just a punishment," Jimin pointed out while the officers barged in the room.
"Mr. Kim Jong-in, you are under arrest for theft, drug dealing, and murder. You are not allowed to speak of your crimes until you are permitted," the first agent advised as he put handcuffs on his wrists.
"Let's go," the second agent said to Jimin and the others, who nodded in agreement.
On the other hand, Woozi was jogging through the doorway and halted when he saw everyone evacuating. The police have seized the subordinates away. He was holding onto the mini camcorder and noticed Wonwoo and Bryan talking. He recalled back to the moment he stumbled upon the masked hooded figure.
FLASHBACK:
"Give this to Bryan," the cloaked person informed.
"Okay..." Woozi said and scratched his temples quizzically.
The cloaked person nodded curtly and faced their back on him. Before they were about to run towards the window, they stopped in their tracks.
"Wait! Just out of curiosity, would you tell me who you are?" Woozi asked gently.
The cloaked person looked down and slowly glanced a little over their shoulder to answer. "In the fullness of time, when the flowers bloom, the sky becomes clear, and the sun shines on the brightest day..."
They turned around quickly and hopped out, much to Woozi's puzzlement.
"Wait!" He exclaimed with his hand reaching out, but he sighed when they disappeared.
END OF FLASHBACK
He tilted his head down and looked back as he slowly approached them.
"Guys," he murmured, clearing his throat to catch their attention.
"Woozi..." Bryan said blankly.
"Here," he said as he handed the device. "I'd figured this is the evidence you needed."
Bryan took it and scanned it all over, then stared at him genuinely. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Woozi nodded curtly.
"I guess it's true. The pen is mightier than the sword," Wonwoo chuckled in amusement. He twiddled the laser pointer between his fingers.
Bryan sighed in relief and tried to call Valerie. Though she wasn't picking up, much to his puzzlement and confusion.
Phone automated voice: "I'm sorry. This person is unavailable. Please leave a message."
"Why aren't you answering?" He asked worriedly.
Wonwoo walked up beside him, asking. "Hey, dude. You alright?"
"Yeah, I guess," Bryan said hesitantly.
"Everyone wants to know if you would like to hang out with us at the gathering. The seven young men are going to meet up with Mr. Si-hyuk, who would like to speak to you," Wonwoo informed.
"I see. I'll be there at what time?" Bryan asked.
"Right now, actually," Wonwoo said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head.
"Oh okay. Let's go," Bryan said as he shoved the phone inside his pocket.
Both of them were strolling out of the building, leaving it in peace.367Please respect copyright.PENANArbga2CKFXW
