He pulls the boat out the harper into the open water so I standing up grabbing my bag and beer and head towards the open front of the boat "this is a good spot.” I lie down taking my shoes of and grabbing my sunglasses from my bag before lying back with the sun hitting against my face. After we get into the open water Hulk starts barking and I turn around and see Hulk jumping into the water swimming towards us. I look at my dad and laugh "slow down.” He leans forward and shakes his head "what?!” I stand up and walk towards him "slow down!” My dad slows down and I bend over the side of the boat when Hulk catches up too it and help pull him up "there you go boy.” He shakes the wetness over him making me and my dad all wet "thanks for that Hulk.” I walk towards the front of the boat and sit back down taking my top of "Misty!” I turn too my dad and laugh "calm down dad.” I take my top of revealing my bikini top "I came prepared.” My dad reach into his bag and pulls out a pair of sunglasses and sticks them on her face. I lie down and Hulk runs over and lies next to me resting his head on my legs. I stroke Hulk’s head and he wags his tail "good boy.” I lie down with my hands behind my head and relax. After a few minutes I feel Hulk stand up and he starts barking "Hulk shh!” I stroke his back and he run towards the front of the boat barking over it "Hulk!” I sit up and gasp in shock when I see something in the water swimming towards us "emm dad?!” I look back towards my dad but he doesn't look at me "Dad!” He pulls his sunglasses down and smiles "you say something?” The boat shakes and my dad falls of his chair before quickly standing up holding onto the side of the railing before sticking the boat on automatic control and running towards us "what was that?” He looks at the side of the boat and I look at the other side "no idea.” Hulk continues to bark and I look at him and run over "what is it Hulk?” I see a large black shadow in the water and I gasp "over here dad!”
My dad runs over and leans over the side and shakes his head "we got to get back to shore.” He runs back towards the back and turns the boat around making me lose my balance "wow.” I manage to catch it and hold onto the railing before sitting down and holding onto Hulk’s collar. "What's going on dad?!” My dad shakes his head and looks over the side of the boat "that thing in the water is dangerous.” I look over and see the black shadow go under the boat "what is it?” My dad shakes his head and take a deep breath "It's.” The boat shakes again and Hulk falls into the water "Hulk!” I look at my dad and shake my head standing up "dad stop the boat!” My dad looks over the side and shakes his head "I can’t.” I look back into the water and see Hulk slowing down "dad!” I shake my head and take a deep breath "screw it.” I jump into the water and swim towards Hulk grabbing his collar dragging him towards the boat as it slows down "dad!” I see my dad lean over the side of the boat and holding his hand down "give me your hand.” I shake my head and pull Hulk towards him "take Hulk first.” He take a deep breath and grabs Hulk’s collar pulling him up "right now give me your hand.” I reach up and grab his hand but I feel something grab my leg pulling me down "dad!” I let go of my dad’s hand get dragged under the water kicking my legs. I manage to get free and start swimming up again but hit my head of the bottom of the boat knocking myself out.
When I wake back up I try open my eyes but my take a deep breath goes all blurry and I can see a shadow blue over me with their mouth around mine. I choke and cough out water and sit up but feel someone gently back down "dad?” I rub my eyes and open them and see clearly. Ethan is kneeling over me smiling. I close my eyes and shake my head "Ethan?” I rub my head and look around "where am I?” Ethan stands up smiling "you’re at my house.” I look at the large lake house behind me and laugh nervously "you live here?” Ethan holds his hand out and smiles "yeah.” I take his hand he pulls me up gently and I fall into his arms "wow sorry.” I smile "no It's ok.” I stand up straight and look towards the lake "oh my god my dad.” I run towards the lake and look out. "He’s fine.” I look at him and shake my head "what happened?” He walks towards me and smirks "I saved you.” I raise my eyebrow and take a deep breath "but how?” I look at him and smile “how did you get too me?” He nods towards the house "let’s get you inside and warmed up and I will explain everything.” I look at the large beautiful lake house and nod slowly "ok.” I shake my head and follow Ethan towards the house. "I saw you and your dad on the boat from my kitchen window and I saw something weird in the water so I ran over too try warn yous but next thing I know you’re in the water with Hulk and I see you getting dragged under so I swam over and dragged you back too shore.” He looks down at the ground and take a deep breath "do you know what it was that was in the water?” I shake my head and take a deep breath "no I just seen a black shadow.” Ethan nods and take a deep breath "well let’s get you inside while we wait for your dad.” Ethan opens the back door as we approach it and I laugh nervously "thank you.”
I walk into the door and it take me into a large open space kitchen with a large dining table where Grayson and an older looking Ethan is sitting all looking at me "make yourself comfortable and I will grab you a towel.” I look at my wet clothes and smile "thank you.” Ethan nods and smiles before running of through the kitchen and out the door at the other side. Grayson looks at me and smirks "you can sit down you know.” He looks at the older man and shrugs his shoulders "we don't bite.” The older man shakes his head and doesn't look too pleased "never mind him Misty.” He looks at me and smiles "but please make yourself comfortable until your dad gets here.” I smile and walk towards the table and sit across from Grayson who rolls his eyes when I sit down "I will be upstairs.” He smirks towards me before standing up and walking out the same door Ethan went out of. Ethan walks back into the kitchen holding a towel and hands me it smiling "I am going to go check on Grayson you going to be ok?” I smile and nod wrapping the towel around me "yeah.” Ethan rubs my arm and turns around walking towards the door and disappearing into the hallway "you want a drink?” I look at Edmund as he walks towards the fridge "yeah a water please.” He grabs a beer and bottle of water and hands me it "thank you.” He sits down opening the beer with his teeth and smirks "still got it.”
I laugh nervously taking a sip of water as he take a drink of his beer placing it on the table "so?” He looks at me and smiles "your dad tells me your already friends with my children?” I shake my head smiling "not all of them.” He take a deep breath and nods towards the door "Grayson?” I nod and smirk "yeah.” I laugh nervously and shrug "I just get the feeling he doesn't like me that much.” Edmund smiles and shakes his head "that's just Grayson being Grayson.” He shrugs and rakes a sip of beer "he’s very weird with new people.” He sticks his beer down and smirks "I am surprised Ethan even spoke to you.” I raise my eyebrows and smile "why?” Edmund shrugs and smirks "he’s usually more private than Grayson.” I look towards the door and smile "really?” I look at Edmund and he nods smiling "yeah.” I laugh nervously looking towards the door again seeing Ethan appear smiling nervously "dad?” Edmund turns around and smiles "what?” Edmund take a sip of his beer and Ethan smiles softly at me and take a deep breath looking back towards his dad "Grayson rang Nicolas.” Edmund chokes on his beer before standing up aggressively "he done what!?” Edmund walks towards the kitchen door and storms past Ethan who laughs softly as he comes back into the kitchen and sits across from me. "So?” I laugh nervously "what's wrong with your uncle Nicolas?” Ethan smiles softly and take a deep breath "he.” Ethan holds his finger up and smiles "too be continued.” He stands up and the front doorbell rings "that will be your dad.” He walks towards the door "I will get it!” He opens the door and I hear my dad’s voice “where is she?” I stand up and head towards the door and spot my dad standing at the end of the hallway "hey dad.” He looks at me and take a deep breath "oh Misty.” He runs towards me and hugs me "you ok?” He let’s go and looks me up and down "yeah I am fine.” He take a deep breath and smiles "good.” He looks at Ethan and nods "go wait in the car honey I am just going to speak too Mr Denver.” I smile and walk towards the front door smiling towards Ethan "bye.” He smiles and nods "bye Misty.”
I walk out the door and walk towards the car looking back before opening the door and see Ethan running towards me smiling "Misty wait!” I hold the car door open and smile "what's up?” He reaches me and smiles nervously looking down "I just wanted to make sure that you are ok?” I nod slowly and smile "I am fine thanks to you.” He nods slowly and laughs nervously "cool.” He stands up straight holding the door open for me "so I guess I will see you at school tomorrow?” He blushes and nods "I guess you will.” He licks his lips and I get into the car "goodbye Misty.” He smiles and closes the car door slowly when I get in and runs back towards the house looking back one last time smiling closing the front door. I lean my head on my side window smiling but jump when someone taps it. I look up and see Grayson standing at the side of the car with a serious look on his face "roll down the window.” I smile nervously and roll the window down and he hands me a piece of paper "what's this?” I take the piece of paper. I start too unfolding the paper and Grayson places his hand over mine stopping me "not here.” He looks around and take a deep breath "wait till you get home.” He moves his hands and I place the paper in my jacket pocket and nod slowly "ok?” He nods firmly and turns around and walks back towards the back of the house. I shake my head and take a deep breath "weird.” I look at the front door and my dad opens the door and walks out laughing with Edmund before shaking his hand nodding. Edmund stands at the front door entrance smiling towards me before walking back inside closing the door behind him. My dad walks towards the car and smiles when he gets in sticking his belt on "ready?” I smile and nod "yeah.” He sticks the keys in and drives towards the exit leading us into an off-road wooden area.
I look around and smirk "they live in the middle of nowhere?” I look out the window and examine everything as we drive past "no.” My dad shakes his head laughing nervously "they live about a mile from the border sign.” I see a sign dogged into the grass at the end of the wooden area "Dens woods.” I look at my dad and he nods "yeah that wooden area is their private property.” I look back towards the wooden area and smile "what all of it?” He drives down the road and smiles "till about.” He nods towards a fence and smiles "that's where it ends so from there to a few yards the other way the property is theirs.” I look at the fence and see a red moon carved into it one of the wooden slacks and shake my head before facing the front. "So are they very private?” My dad nods and smiles "yeah they keep them self too themselves.” I nod and smile "especially Grayson he’s like some private mystery.” My dad raises his eyebrow and smiles "Grayson?” I look at him and nod "at least he’s the good one out of them.” He looks at me and smirks "Ethan's a troublemaker and I know who I would rather speak too.” I roll my eyes and sit back "why what's he done?” My dad shakes his head and laughs nervously "noting that concerns you.” He take a deep breath and raises his eyebrow "just stay away from him.” He nods and smirks "ok?” I roll my eyes and shake my head "no.” My dad looks at me and I smirk "he did just save my life after all.” My dad’s face drops and he roll his eyes "yes I guess he did.” He shakes his head and take a deep breath "but he’s still trouble.” I shrug my shoulders and smile "yes well I owe him one so sorry daddy I am going to have too disagree with you on this one.” He rolls his eyes before pulling up to the front yard and parking the car.
