Chapter 33.
I turn around and walk towards the window and look out it and see stairs leading up towards the front "help!” I rattle the bars but they don’t budge and I lose my grip and fall back and lie down for a few seconds but jump up when I hear a howl and smirk. I run towards the window and shake my bars “Ethan?!” I hear the cell entrance door open and footsteps approach “shut up!” I turn around and see Mr Walter walking towards me "Sydney?” Sydney walks in holding a needle drip and an empty blood bag "I am coming.” She looks at me and smirks "I wouldn't miss this for the world.” She opens the cell door and walks towards me "now come here.” I hold onto the window bars and Sydney rolls her eyes "don't make this harder than it has to be.” She pulls my leg and I hold onto the bars tighter "stop!” I hear a howl close by and smirk "Ethan!" Sydney let’s go of my leg and looks at Mr Walter "grab her Syd!” She looks at me and smirks "with pleasure.”
I have a last look out the window and see a wolf appear at the top of the stairs "Ethan?!” He looks down and growls before running down the stairs as Sydney closes the cell door dragging me out with my arm "say goodbye to your precious girl wolf boy because the next time you see her she will be dead.” She laughs softly and winks before pulling me towards the door but looks back when there’s a loud crash and I see the cell wall fall in and Ethan standing over it in wolf form growling. Sydney rolls her eyes and take a deep breath "come get us then!” Ethan bites the bar but falls to the ground moaning and turns back into human form “nice try but the cell bars are covered in wolfsbane.” I look at Sydney and shake my head "no!” I look at Ethan lying on the ground moan in pain “Ethan!”
I try to run forward but Sydney holds on me tight "Let me go.” I look at Ethan and shake my head "let me help him and I will come with you. Just let him go.” Sydney looks at her dad and he nods "fine.” Sydney smirks and digs her nail into my arm making me bleed "ow.” Mr Walter hands her a cup and she holds it over my arm for a few seconds "that will be enough." Sydney hands her dad the cup and she holds my arm up and licks the blood dripping down my arm "sorry was that painful?” She smirks and I take a deep breath "no.” She rolls her eyes "shame.”
I watch Mr Walter give Ethan the cup of blood but he shakes his head "no!” He knocks it over and lies on the ground weak "Ethan.” I walk forward but Sydney grabs me "I don't think so?” I look at her and she shakes her head "we had a deal.” I look at Ethan and shake my head “Ethan please just drink it.” Sydney take a deep breath and drags me out the door “come on I am border of seeing him die now.” Mr Walter walks towards us and I look at Ethan again and take a deep breath "come on Ethan just drink it.” He looks at me and smiles softly before Mr Walter closes the door and locks it. Sydney pushes me upstairs "move.” I head upstairs and out the other iron door "where are you taking me?” Mr Walter closes the other door and locks it "you will see soon enough.” She walks into a room and nods "this way.”
I follow her into a room with a hug fireplace and a woman standing in front of it drinking a glass of red liquid. Sydney stops and coughs “as requested mother here she is.” Sydney looks at me the woman and take a deep breath “untouched.” She looks at me and smirks "for now.” The woman turns around and she looks like Alice. I shake my head and smile. She grabs a silk napkin and wipes away the blood from her lips and smiles “ahhhh so you’re the red shield?” She walks towards me and smiles “please have a seat.” She points towards the sofa at the side of the fireplace so I walk towards it and sit down and she sits next to me and smiles “that will be all Sydney dear.” Sydney take a deep breath and walks out the room closing the door behind her. Sharon places the silk napkin on her lap and I look at it and smile "nice napkin.” She looks at it and smiles "thank you.” I nod towards it "is it silk?” She nods and lifts it up "yeah.” She laughs softly "I don't like the way a normal napkin feels on my face or when it breaks apart and sticks too my lips.” I smile softly and nod "I agree.”
She looks at my neck and smiles "beautiful necklace.” I look down and smile "thank you.” She nods towards it "may I?” I nod and she leans over and holds my necklace in her hand but it burns her and she shakes her hand "where did you get that?” I laugh softly and shake my head “it was my friends mums?” She raises her eyebrow and shakes her head "that belonged to my.” I nod and smile "your sister? I know.” She looks at me and raises her eyebrows “you know my sister? Where is she?” I shake my head and smile "what?” She raises her eyebrow and smirks "oh god you don't know?” She shakes her head slowly and smirks "know what?” I smile softly and look down “your sister passed away.” She looks down and shakes her head "what? when?” She stands up and walks towards the fireplace "before I was even born.” She looks at me and nods towards my neck "then how come you have her necklace?” I stand up and hold it in my hand "her son gave me it.” She smiles and nods "she had a son?” I smile and walk towards her "3 and 1 girl.” She picks up the glass from the fireplace and drinks it “one of her sons are locked in your cells right now.” She looks at me and coughs "what?” She sticks the glass down and runs towards the door "Sydney!”
She runs towards the iron door and opens it and quickly runs down the stairs unlocking the other door. I see Ethan lying on the floor still hardly moving “oh my god Ethan!” I run over to him and bend down lifting his head up onto my knee "Ethan?!” He opens his eyes and smiles "Misty? are you ok?” I kiss him and hug him “I’m fine.” I look at Sharon standing by the cell door "give him your blood.” I nod and grab the cup of my blood still lying on the floor “Ethan here.” I place it too his mouth "no!” He shakes his head and moves it away "please Ethan you have too.” I shake my head "come on Ethan you can’t die on me now.” I jump and look at the hole in the wall when I hear a howl outside and Sharon looks out it and walks over towards us picking Ethan up and holds him in her arms like he was a baby “come on we got to go.” I stand up and follow her out the cells before looking out the window again towards the full moon "where?” She looks back in the cell before closing and locking the door “someone the black daemon wolf won’t find us.” I shake my head and run after her upstairs to the first main lobby where she locks the other iron door "this way.”
She runs up the main stairs and runs down a hallway and into a room with a large bed and lays Ethan down on the bed and going into the bedside drawer grabbing a syringe "may I?” She nods towards my wrist and I nod "yeah.” I look away and she places the syringe needle into me and my blood goes into it "here.” She hands me a napkin and I smile "thank you.” I clean the blood of my arm and Sharon nods towards Ethan “hold his head down.” I raise my eyebrow and she laughs softly "what? I don’t want to be bitten thanks very much.” I hold his head down and run my hand through his hair "especially by my own nephew.” She smirks and I nod "good point.” I look at Ethan as he starts to open his eyes "hey there.” He smiles weakly and his eyes start too close again "ready?” I nod and Sharon sticks the needle into his arm and press’s down the syringe making him opening his eyes and they go black and he growls.
He tries to get up and I hold his head down with all my force "done.” Sharon removes the syringe needle from his arm and smiles “you can let him go now.” She walks towards the bin and I let go of his head and he opens his eyes and smiles "he’s waking up.” I look towards Sharon and Ethan looks over and quickly stands up speeding over towards Sharon and grabs her by the throat choking her and slams her against the wall. “What have you done too her?” I run over towards them and pull Ethan's arm “Ethan stop!” His eyes go black and her face starts to go blue "she’s your mum’s sister!” He looks at me and his eyes go blue "what?” He lets her go and she falls to the ground holding her neck "you ok?” I bend down and she nods "yeah I am fine.”
She stands up and I look at Ethan who is pacing the room "what do you want with Misty?” Sharon looks at me and shakes her head “nothing.” He shakes his head and laughs sarcastically "then why is she here?” Sharon looks down towards the ground and take a deep breath "when Sydney told me who she was and I was going to make a deal with the black daemon wolf but when she told me who you was I changed my mind.” He shakes his head and smirks "why?” He looks at Sharon and laughs nervously “It's not like you know us.” She smiles and shrugs "I know.” She looks down and take a deep breath "I thought my sister.” She nods and smiles "your mum left town when we got separated but all this time we were both in the same town living.” He shakes his head and laughs nervously “so you never knew? about any of us? after all these years?” She shakes her head and take a deep breath “no.” She smiles softly "I’m sorry about your mum. I wish I had the chance to get too know her.” He looks at her and smiles “she was a pretty incredible woman.”
He walks towards me and holds my hand "so are we free to go?” Sharon nods and steps aside from the door "wait!” She runs towards the window and looks out it "maybe not.” Ethan runs towards the window "the black daemon wolf must have followed your scent here.” Ethan runs towards me and take my hand "then we should leave before it attacks us in here.” Sharon shakes her head and closes the curtain "there’s wolfsbane on every door and window so it can’t get in the castle.” Ethan laughs softly and looks around “I know. I can smell it.” Sharon smiles and nods “sorry about that.” She walks towards the door and take a deep breath "I will tell Sydney too leave yous alone and yous are more than welcome to stay here for the night.” She nods towards the window and smiles softly. Ethan nods and smiles "thank you.” He walks towards the bed and grabs his phone "I will ring my dad and let him know what's happening before he freaks out even more.” Sharon smiles and nods.
Ethan rings his dad and laughs "hey dad.” He looks at Sharon and smiles "you will never guess where we are.” He looks towards the window and nods "in Sharon's.” He smirks and nods "I know.” His smile drops and he stands up and shakes his head "no no no!” He looks at me and shakes his head "yeah he came with me but I’m not sure where he is.” He runs towards the door and opens it running out it and down the stairs "Ethan?!” Me and Sharon run after him as he runs towards the cellar door and opens it "what's going on?” He runs down the stairs and opens the second door and we see the wolf in the cell by the broken wall sniffing the ground before looking up at us growling with blood dripping from Its mouth.
