Chapter 16.
When I wake up again I quickly sit up looking around and realise I am on my grandparent’s sofa. I stand up and feel Hulk at the bottom of my feet and laugh softly "sorry boy.” He sits up and places his hand on my knee "good boy.” I stoke his head before standing up and heading to the kitchen with Hulk follow behind me. I walk into the kitchen and see my grandma by the cooker making food “hey grandma.” She turns around and smiles when she sees me and runs over hugging me tight "thank god you’re ok.” I smile and shake my head "what happened?” She looks at me and raises her eyebrow "you don't remember?” I shake my head and take a deep breath "nope.” She laughs nervously and heads back over towards the cooker “you passed out.” I walk towards the fridge and grab a bottle of water "how did I get back here?” She looks at the cooker and take a deep breath "the Denver boys found you and brought you back.” She turns around and shrugs "they said they found you lying on the ground so they carried you home and even brought your car back and fixed it.” I look out the hallway towards the door and smirk "that's nice of them.” She hands me a bowl of chicken and garlic soup “yeah it was.” I take a sip and she smile “so you don't remember any of that?” I shake my head and take a deep breath “no.” I shrug and take another sip of soup "I remember leaving school because I was ill and decided to come home but my windscreen wipers broke and that's about it.” She turns around and nods "well how are you feeling?” I nod and sit back "just sleepy.” She smiles softly and nods towards the door "why don’t you go upstairs and have a shower? Your dirty clothes are in the wash.” I look down and laugh nervously "I didn't even realise I didn't have my dress on.” She smiles softly and nods "I got you changed because you were all wet and dirty and left you on the sofa too sleep.” I stand up and nod "thank you.” I grab my bottle of water and head towards the door "I am going for a shower then for a nap.” I turn around and smile "I am not hungry but if I get hungry later I will come down so tell dad not too wake me and that I am fine.” She nods and smiles "ok sweetheart.” I nod before walking towards the stairs and running up them with Hulk right behind me.
I get into my room and spot my jacket on the bed and grab my phone from my pocket and stick it on charge before heading into the bathroom and turning on the shower. I stand under the shower and rinse my hair closing my eyes I have a flash back of me standing in the rain with a woman and seeing the black wolf attack her dragging her into the woods and it makes me jump back knocking the shampoo down making a small bang and Hulk running in growling looking around "It's alright boy it was just me.” I stick the shampoo back and step out the shower wrapping my dressing gown on and walking towards the mirror cabinet by the sink. I run my hands through my wet hair and let it drop into the sink before taking a deep breathing and flinging my hair back "I need to get out of this house It's driving me insane.” I walk into the bedroom and grab my phone and see a text message from Cameron "dammit I forgot I was meeting her.” I look at the time and see it was half 5 "Hulk stay.” I run towards my drawers and grab clothes before running into the bathroom and getting changed and towel drying my hair. I run back into the room and grab trainers before grabbing my phone and purse and opening my bedroom door "grandma?!” I stick my head out and smile when she doesn’t respond and walk down the stairs opening the front door. Hulk sits on the steps and tilts his head "stay boy.” I quietly close the door behind me and run towards my car and get in it. I look into the living room window and see my grandma sleeping on the sofa and smile grabbing my phone too leave her a voicemail "hey grandma I am away out for food so don't wait up.” I stick my phone down and realise It's 5:50 so quickly drive of towards the mall.
I get to the mall at 6 and take a deep breath "just on time.” I park right by the entrance door and quickly get out running into the mall too avoid the rain and walk towards Cameron store where she is just locking up "hey!” She turns around and smiles "just on time.” She hugs me and I smile "I always am.” She sticks her keys in her bag and nods "ready?” I smile and nod slowly turning around towards the car park. She looks up at the window and take a deep breath "I should have brought a jacket.” I shake my head and smile "you have a store full of jackets.” She laughs nervously and nods "true.” She looks up as a lightning strikes the sky and smiles opening the exit door "I love lightning.” I raise my eyebrows and walk out towards the car park "I like watching it from inside.” She laughs softly and nods "so what one is your car?” I point towards the car right in front of us and she smirks "I like you’re thinking.” I unlock the car and she gets in the passenger side grabbing her phone from her bag "should have charged this in work.” I hand her my phone and smile "you want to use mine.” She shakes her head and smiles "no I will be fine.” I stick my phone on my knee and she take a deep breath "can you maybe just text Ethan or Grayson for me and tell them I am out with you and will be back late so don’t wait up?” I smile and grab my phone "ok.” I go onto my texts and laugh nervously "do you know their number?” Cameron nods "yeah I know Ethan's.” I hand her my phone and she types and smiles "done.” She hands me the phone back and sticks her belt on. I stick my phone in the space in the middle of the seats and stick my belt on "so where are we going?” She nods towards the exit and smirks "you drive and I will direct.” I raise my eyes brows and smile "ok then.”
I stick the keys in and drive towards the exit when my phone dings "check who that is.” Cameron grabs my phone and smirks "It's Ethan.” She opens the text and coughs "you ill?” I look at her and smile "what? no?” She looks back at the phone and shrugs "Ethan said 'Misty shouldn't have left the house as she’s not well and that’s why she left school' maybe he’s talking about another Misty?” I laugh softly and nod "I wasn't feeling too well earlier but I am fine now.” I look at her and smile and she sticks my phone back "alright well I shall leave it at that.” I look at the phone and take a deep breath "that's probably for the best." When I get out the car park I look at Cameron and nod nods "oh yeah I am giving directions.” She looks around and nods "head towards my house.” I raise my eyebrow and she smiles "left.” I nod and turn left and head down the road.
