Chapter 22.
I get into the car and shake my head and spot a crate of bottled water in the back and grabbing a bottle drinking it in one. I stick the keys in and my phone dings "who is texting me this late?” I pick up my phone and see a text messages from Cameron ‘Ethan just told me what happened ok you?' I look at the time and raise my eyebrows 'It's 2AM why are you still awake? yeah I am fine' I start the car and drive out the driveway down the road "now where can I go for food?” I turn on the satnav and search for food places that will be open and see a bar that is open 24/7 "that will do.” I smile and stick it in the satnav and drive down the road. Halfway down the road I shake my head and lick my lips "where’s that water?” I grab another bottle from the back seats and nearly crash into a mailbox "whoops.” I swirl out the way of it and laugh nervously "maybe I should have sobered up a little.” I take a deep breath and shrug. I pour half the bottle of water over my face and shake my head "better." when I reach the town border my phone dings and I reach down and grab it and see a text message from Cameron 'I just got back from the vets why are you awake? good I was worried when Ethan told me.' I ring her and stick her on speaker “hey you night hawk.” She answers after the third ring and I laugh softly “hey girlllll.” She laughs sarcastically “someone sounds drunk?” I laugh softly and nod "maybe.” I press my foot too hard on the gas making the car roar “where are you?” I look out the window “eh.” I see the town border sign "I have just gone past the town border.” She shakes her head and laughs nervously “what? Where are you gone at this time?” I laugh softly and shrug “I needed food so going too that bar by the diner because they are the only place that does food all day so heading there.” I look at the satnav and smile when I see It's 2 miles up the road. “I can imagine your dad isn’t happy about you making him drive all the way out there for food.” I laugh awkwardly and shake my head “I’m not with my dad.” I cough and laugh softly biting my lip "I’m myself.” It goes silent for a few seconds and I look at the phone and see the call still connected "hello?” I hear a loud bang “what do you mean you are yourself? please don’t tell me you are drink driving!?” I laugh awkwardly and hear a door slam and Cameron run “Misty pull over and stay there and I will drive down and get you.” I look at the satnav and shake my head “no I’m okay honest plus I’m nearly there so don’t bother wasting your time.” I hear a motorbike start-up “I am already on my way I will be there as soon as I can.” The line goes dead and I shake my head and keep driving.
When I get to the bar there’s a few motorbikes outside so I drive towards the other side of the car park away from them and take a deep breath fixing myself before heading inside. I open the door and I see a few men in biker jackets at a table and a man behind the bar cleaning glasses so I walk towards the bar and walk into the table with the biker men and cough "sorry.” I shake my head and take a deep breath before walking towards the bar and smile at the bartender. "What can I get you?” The man comes over and I look at around and smile "can I have a food menu please?” He grabs a menu from under the bar front and hands me it "thank you.” I look at the menu and take a deep breath "can I get a double cheeseburger with large fries and nachos on the side?” She writes down on a notepad and raises his eyebrows "you want something to drink?” I cough and look towards the drinks behind me "a whiskey.” He raises his eyebrow and holds his hand out "menu please.” I smile and nod handing him the menu "thank you.”
He sticks the menu back under the bar and turns around towards the window behind him and knocks on it. A woman opens the window and he hands her the piece of paper and looks at me and smiles closing the window. The man looks back towards me and smiles “food will be ready in 5 mins.” He turns back around and grabs two whiskey glasses and I notice a red wolf tattoo on the left side of his upper shoulder and I can’t help but stare at the tattoo. He pours the glasses and hands me one “it looks like you have had a crappy day so let’s cheers to a better day tomorrow?” I smile and nod "cheers.” I cheers his glass and down the drink in one “another?” I wipe my mouth and smile handing him my glass “yeah why not just keep them coming.” He nods slowly and turns around pouring another two "was it a really crappy day then?” I nod and take a deep breath "yip.” He smiles softly and points to a chair “have a seat and tell Danny all about it.” I smile and sit down and he hands me another whiskey. “I found out my boyfriend back in Hollywood has been sleeping with another girl behind my back.” He whistles “ouch that’s a bummer.” I nod and smile “tell me about it.” I down the drink and he smiles and brings over the bottle smirking “this could be a long night.”
I smile and he pours me another whiskey “cheers.” I throw back another drink and see someone reach over from behind me grabbing my glass “hey!” I turn around and see Cameron standing behind me “hey.” She shakes her head and doesn't look very happy "Cameron!” I look at Danny and smile "this is my friend Cameron. Cameron this is Danny.” He smiles softly and nods “I know who she is.” He walks out from behind the bar and walks towards us "I’m good friends with her dad.” He hugs her and laughs softly "what are you doing here?” She looks at me and smiles sarcastically “collecting my very drunk and very underage friend.” He looks at me raises his eyebrow "what?” Cameron nods and take a deep breath “yeah she’s only 18 Danny.” I shove her softly and laugh nervously “spoil sport.” He take the bottle of whiskey and sticks it back on the shelf and shake his head “yous need to leave.” I shake my head and take a deep breath "I want food first.” Cameron take a deep breath and looks at Danny "fine but yous need to leave after she eats.” He turns around and walks into the kitchen. "Come on.” Cameron walks towards the back of the bar and I follow "sit here.” She points towards a booth at the very back and sits down across from me.
She shakes her head and takes a deep breath “what were you thinking?” I fling my head back and take a deep breath “I wasn’t.” She shakes her head and leans forward “what happened?” I shrug and give her half a smile “I’m a good person and I was such a good girlfriend but because I wouldn’t sleep with him he went and slept with someone while I am here being loyal.” Cameron looks towards the biker blokes who are all looking over “shh keep your voice down.” She looks at me and shakes her head "what do you mean? so he cheated on you?” I nod and laugh sarcastically “he’s been sleeping with another girl back home and I bet It's not the first time he’s cheated on me.” I wipe away the tears that start too run down my face and she smiles softly and holds my hand "then he’s an ass and didn't deserve you.” I smile and take a deep breath "thank you.” I sit back flinging my head back "I’ve always been the good girl you know? I’ve always got good grades and I’ve never got arrested or ever been in trouble.” I look towards the bar and take a deep breath "I just wanted a drink and too live a little.” I look at her and smile "I’m sorry I dragged you out here and for the trouble I’ve caused.” She shakes her head and smiles “don’t worry about it.” She smirks and sits back "I just wish you came to me and told me and I could of at least came with you.” I look up and see her smiling at me “thank you.” I nod and take a deep breath "you really are an amazing friend. My friends in Hollywood would never come out at early hours and get me drunk. I guess I was so blinded by it I never knew what a real friend was.” She smirks and shrugs sitting back “well you don't need them.” I smile and rub her arm "no I really don't.”
Cameron's phone rings and she pulls it out her pocket and take a deep breath “It's my dad he will be wondering where I am.” She presses a button and sticks her phone on the table "I will call him later.” She looks towards the door at the back of her "I’m going to the bathroom so don’t move okay?” I sit back and nod "ok.” She gets up and walks towards the door behind her and I take a deep breath and look towards the kitchen door for my food. After a few seconds her phone rings again and I see look over and see Ethan’s picture come up "hmm.” I smile and grab It answering it “hello Cameron's phone.” I smirk and lean back "Misty?” I blush when he says my name “10 points to you.” I lean forward and run my fingers through the bottom of my hair “where’s Cameron?” I look towards the bathroom door and see Cameron walk towards me “she’s just coming back now.” I look at Cameron and she shakes her head “oh she looks angry.” I laugh softly "think I’m in trouble.” I hand her the phone and smirk “It's Ethan.” She take a deep breath and take a deep breath taking the phone “hey Ethan what's up?”
She sits down and I can hear him raise his voice on the other line “what's up? Well for starters you stole my bike and now you’re out with Misty at 2AM?” She rolls her eyes and leans forward and places the phone on the table on loudspeaker “I’m sorry I took your bike but it was the fastest way to get too Misty.” She looks at me and take a deep breath "she’s been drinking and luckily she rang me while she was driving so I came and got her to make sure she was ok. I should have asked you first I know.” I look at my phone and smile “wait she’s been drinking?” I sit back and roll my eyes "where are yous?” I shake my head and mouth “no!” She smirks and picks up the phone “at Danny's.” I shake my head and lean back "no don't bother because the time you get here we will be leaving. We are just waiting for the food.” She nods towards the kitchen "which looks like It's coming now.” I look over and see Danny carrying a tray with my food and a large glass of water and sticks it in front of me “here drink this kiddo.” I smile and shake my head “I am so sorry for this.” He smiles and nods “don’t worry we have all been there and had our bad days but believe me drink isn’t the answer.” I smile and lift up the glass of water "well thank you.” He smiles and nods before walking back towards the kitchen.
“I got to go Ethan but don’t worry I will take her home right after she eats.” She hangs up before he could say anything else and I laugh softly and lift up my burger “your brother is hot so I don't mind if he comes.” She rolls her eyes and points towards the water “yeah well he’s pissed off so I don’t think you will find him hot when you see his angry side.” I lick my lips and smile “mm.” I take a sip of my water and wink "Ethan mad? with his arms all tense and his muscles showing and those big black eyes looking right at me with his cheeky smile? yeah that sounds horrible!” I laugh softly and she flings a nacho at me “that’s my brother.” I wink at her and smile "I know which is why it makes it harder to stay away.” I take a deep breath and shrug "but he’s always so kind and he’s always looking after me which is cute.” I look of into the distance and shake my head "you are really crushing hard on Ethan aren’t you?” I shake my head and take a deep breath "no boys are evil.” She laughs and shakes her head handing me the water “drink.” I roll my eyes and take the water drinking it in one happy?” She smiles and nods "yes.” She looks towards the door and take a deep breath "but he doesn’t look it.”
I look over towards the door and see Ethan walking towards us “oh look here comes my boyfriend.” I look at Cameron and she shakes her head but I can’t help but laugh softly. "Oh look you can see his muscles through his tight leather jacket.” I pick up a chip and wink at her and she rolls her eyes and leans back. I look back towards the door and see Ethan approaching us shaking his head “what the hell Misty?” He sits down next too Cameron and take a deep breath "what were you thinking?” I look at Cameron and smile softly "I wasn't.” He looks at Cameron and raises his eyebrow "clearly.” I look down and take a deep breath “I’ve just had the worse day okay? Please don’t be mad Ethan.” I touch his hand smile softly "I nearly died today then too top it off my so-called boyfriend has been sleeping with another girl.” I pull my hands away and look down towards my feet "what?” Cameron rolls her eyes and take a deep breath “are you ok?” He stands up and sits next to me and he hugs me "yeah I am now.” I wink at Cameron smirking and she flings her head back and shakes it.
I take a deep breath and nod “I’m ok I just needed a drink and then I got hungry and this was the only place what was open so I just drove her without thinking.” I look into his eyes and smile softly "I am sorry I know I shouldn’t have but I just wanted to live a little you know?” He shakes his head and take a deep breath “I’m just glad you’re ok.” I rub his arm and smile "I am ok I just wish I didn’t waste so much time on him.” I look at Cameron and take a deep breath "I guess he wasn't the right one for me but I won’t give up looking for a decent boyfriend.” Cameron sits forward and raises her eyebrows and I smirk at her “like you.” I look back at Ethan as he smirks "what?” He shakes his head and take a deep breath "your drunk.” I lean into his chest and he cuddles me for a few seconds "right finish your food and we can get you home.” Cameron laughs softly and nods "don't think she’s going to be eating her food anytime soon.” He looks down and sees me sleeping "I will carry her out.” He gets up softly and lifts me into his arms. "I will drive her car back and trail my bike to the car and you drive Grayson's bike back and I will meet you back home ok?” She nods and Ethan nods towards my car "open her car.” She laughs softly and shrugs "I don't have her keys.” He nods towards my jacket "check her pocket.” She take a deep breath and nods and checks my pocket and grabs my keys "open the car.” She opens my car and Ethan sticks me in the passenger side and does my seatbelt up "here.” Ethan hands her Grayson's keys and she hands him his car keys "see you at home.”
Ethan grabs his bike and hooks it too my car when he spots Danny walking out the bar and waves towards Ethan "hey!” Ethan stands up and walks towards the drive side door and smiles "did she not pay?” Danny raises his eyebrow and smiles "what?” He shakes his head and smiles "no not that.” He looks towards me at the car and take a deep breath "be careful with her.” Ethan looks at me and shakes his head "what do you mean?” Danny raises his eyebrow and looks at Cameron standing by Grayson's bike "every pack is looking for her.” Cameron shakes her head "what?” Danny laughs nervously "yous didn't know that?” Ethan shakes his head "no but my dad told us to keep an eye on here too.” Danny take a deep breath "It's not my place too say sorry boy.” Ethan take a deep breath "It's fine. I know the deal.” Cameron shakes her head and gets onto the bike "well I am asking dad.” She starts the motorbike and pulls her helmet down "I want to know why everyone wants her because no one is getting her!” She drives of out the car park and down the road.
