I look at Edmund and shake my head "survive?” Edmund take a deep breath and nods "if the werewolf doesn't have a strong connection then the bond won’t work and the person could die during transaction.” I shake my head and take a deep breath "wow.” I look at the book and take a deep breath "so what's this got to do with me?” Edmund smiles softly and shrugs "the red shield.” I laugh sarcastically and shake my head "you can’t be serious?” Edmund opens the box and pulls out an arrow brooch and nods towards my scar "may I?” I nod and hold my wrist out and he pinche’s it and sticks it in the middle of the table "if the tip of the arrow goes blue when the blood rubs of then your fine but if it goes red then the red shield.” I look at the tip of the arrow and take a deep breath "ok.” He goes back into the box and pulls out a napkin and take a deep breath "ready?” I take a deep breath and nod "ready.” He wipes the tip of the brooch and I watch it closely as he removes the napkin and watch the tip turn red.
My grandpa take a deep breath and shakes his head "I am sorry.” I look at him and shake my head "about what?” Edmund smiles softly and opens the book "While a red shield is special and rare it also makes them a target. The black daemon wolf was cursed after killing a village of people and other werewolves and only way to break the curse is for the black daemon wolf too kill a red shield. Vampires will also target the red shield for Its blood as a blood of a red shield is like a drug for a vampire and It's the only thing that can cure a werewolf bite.” I look at my grandpa and shake my head "so that's why that wolf has been after me ever since I came to town?” My dad nods "it smelted you as soon as you came to town and it caused us too crash the night you came to town.” I shake my head and laugh nervously "in the camera you gave me earlier there was a black wolf in the background of one of the pictures.” My grandpa raises his eyebrow and shakes his head "are you sure?” I nod and take a deep breath "yeah that's why I left because I didn't know what it meant and panicked.” My grandpa nods towards Edmund "I will go get the camera and Edmund can fill you in with the rest.” I shake my head and touch my grandpa’s hand "don't you want to stay and find out more?” He looks at Edmund and smiles "we went over this a few years ago.” I shake my head and laugh softly "what?” Edmund nod and my grandpa walks towards the door "won’t be long.” He closes the door behind him and I face Edmund.
"What does he mean he went over this years ago?” Edmund take a deep breath and sits back on his chair "your mum left with you years ago because the black daemon wolf.” I shake my head and scoff "no my mum left to become an actress?” He shakes his head and smiles "that was one of the reasons but the main reason was you.” He sits forward and goes into the black box and pulls out a camera "these are pictures of you that your grandparents took one weekend you went with them to the log cabin.” He shows me the camera and I see pictures of me when I was younger with bite marks around my wrists and neck "what are those?” He sticks the camera back and take a deep breath "vampire bite marks.” I shake my head and stick my head on my hands. "You went away with your grandparents one weekend and complained about a man.” I look up and shake my head "trying to eat me.” Edmund nods "yeah.” I shake my head and laugh nervously "I remember that but I thought it was just a dream.” Edmund nods and smiles "no it was real.”
He nods towards my wrist "the black daemon wolf hunted you down that weekend and tried to attack you but your grandpa stood in front of the wolf and the wolf got his arm and then your dad found me and I explained everything too him and that's when your parents made the choice to send you and your mum away for your safety.” I stand up and shake my head pacing the room "I am sorry I just.” I look at Edmund and laugh nervously "It's a lot to take in.” He nods and smiles "I understand.” He stands up and take a deep breath "I will give you a few minutes and come downstairs when you’re ready ok?” I smile and nod "thanks Edmund.” He grabs the book and hands me it "read this if you have any questions and I will try answer some if you can’t find them.” I take the book and he walk’s the door "Edmund?” He turns around and smiles "yeah?” I look at the book and laugh nervously "how do you know so much about this?” He smirks and closes his blue eyes and opens them and showing black eyes "we are werewolves.” He raise my eyebrows and nod "enjoy the read.” He winks and closes the door behind him.
I look at the book and shake my head "ok.” I sit down and open the book "ok!” I start reading the book and finish it as someone knocks on the door "It's only me!” My grandpa pops his head in and smiles "can I come in?” I stick the book down and nod "yeah.” He walks in and sits down "I gave the camera too Edmund and he confirmed it was the black daemon.” I fling my head back and take a deep breath "I don't know what to do grandpa.” I can feel tears fill my eyes and my grandpa shakes his head "hey!” He walks over towards me and hugs me "you don't have to do anything.” I hug him and shake my head "but this wolf isn't going to stop so It's either me that dies or the wolf.” My grandpa shakes his head and sits down next to me "there is another option.” I raise my eyebrow and laugh nervously "what?” He smiles and nods towards the door "you can bond with Ethan.” I shake my head and take a deep breath "what?” The door opens and Ethan walks in "you can’t be serious? she will die!” I stand up and shake my head "Ethan!” He looks at me and shakes his head "I can’t.”
He walks out and I walk after him but my grandpa grabs my arm "let him cool of sweetheart.” I shake my head and take a deep breath sitting back down "he’s right grandpa we don't know each other that well.” My grandpa smiles and rubs my arm "I see the way he looks at you and I know you feel something for him.” My grandpa leans back and laughs softly "believe me I wouldn't suggest it if I didn't think I would work.” Edmund walks in and shakes his head "what happened?” My grandpa looks at me and take a deep breath "Ethan heard me saying too Misty about doing a bond and stormed of.” Edmund looks at me and smiles "is that something you would consider?” I shake my head and shrug "I don't know.” Edmund sits down and smiles "we don't know each other that well.” Edmund holds my hand smiles "yous don't have to do it right now yous could do it once yous get to know each other better? It's totally up too you though dear.” I look at me grandpa and shrug "I guess It's something I would consider.” I look at Edmund and shrug "I like Ethan a lot and I know this black wolf isn't going to stop until I am dead.” My grandpa nods towards Edmund and he stands up "I’ve called my pack and they are going too hunt for the black daemon werewolf and we can hold it until you and Ethan are strong enough or you can just kill it then and there?” I shake my head and take a deep breath "I don't know. I will need to think about it I guess.” Edmund smiles and nods "ok.” I stand up and take a deep breath "I guess we should go back downstairs then and hopefully Ethan calms down.” My grandpa stands up and smiles "yeah that will be best.”
My grandpa walks towards the door and I follow after him with Edmund behind me closing and locking the door after him before following me down the stairs into the kitchen where Grayson and Nicolas are sitting "is it true?” Grayson looks at me and shakes his head "she’s the red shield?” He looks at Edmund and he nods "yeah.” Grayson shakes his head and laughs nervously "so now what?” Edmund shakes his head and take a deep breath "that's up too Misty.” I take a deep breath and shrug "I don't know.” Grayson scoffs and walks past us and runs out the door "what is it with your boys?” Edmund shakes his head "shut up Nic you aren’t helping.” My grandpa's phone rings and smiles "It's your grandma.” He nods towards the phone and nods "I should take this.” He walks towards the back door and closes it behind him.
"I don't see the problem.” Nicolas stands up and shrugs walking towards me "I think she would make a lovely wolf wife.” He touches my hair and sniffs my neck "lovely indeed.” Ethan runs into the kitchen and shoves Nicolas "get your hands of her.” His eyes turn black and Nicolas laughs sarcastically "calm down lover boy.” I touch Ethan's arm and he pushes me into Edmund's arms "Ethan!” He turns around and looks at me shaking his head "I am sorry Misty.” His eyes turn blue and I shake my head "I am fine.” I take Ethan's hand smile "let’s go.” I walk out the kitchen and up the stairs "where we going?” I look at Ethan and smirk "your room.” He smirks and I roll my eyes "what one is yours?” He nods towards a door and I open it "here?” He nods and I walk in turning the light on. 437Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡQkEQp5dsbC
