“My life is complete!” Josiah held his Pendant up proudly for all to see. “I got my Pendant before Byrant. I can die peacefully.”
“No. I don’t think so.” Glenn stepped in front of Josiah. “I thought I heard his before I heard yours.”
Josiah gasped at the thought.
“I heard them at the same time,” Noel offered, trying to keep the peace.
He still looked ready to defend his case.
“Come on.” Noel turned around, confirming that everyone had their own bag of food and water. “Let’s go find the others."
