I looked around as teens started to regather in the living room.
Some were freaking out. Others were crying.
My eyes landed on the TV.
“Guys! The TV!” I yelled to attract their attention.
“What about it?” A teen yelled back at me.
I ran for the remote resting on the coffee table.
While I pushed buttons on the remote, the teens started gathering around me.
I switch the setting to Live TV and click through the channels. All that showed was a white fuzz for every station.
I stopped at a news channel and push the rewind button.
Only white static showed for a while before the newscasters appeared.
I pressed play and held my breath.
The teens became silent as a lady and man described a fundraiser for the orphanage.
Then suddenly, they were gone.
A second later, the screen returned to blank static.
Glenn took the remote from me and rewound it to watch it again.
“Whoa,” Grace gasped.
