Hi all! I apologize about the hiatus that I've been on the past few weeks. I've got a very important project that I'm working on, and I won't be able to go back to writing my own stuff until I finish it! But rest assured, that I am still alive, and that I plan to get right back into the stories as soon as I am able! :)
Because I haven't got the time to post an actual update to a story, I thought I'd use this opportunity to post a message here to all my followers of my work.

I sincerely appreciate everything you've given to me. Not only a place in your community, but maybe a moment of your time just to read the words I posted on this website. It's the people like you that give my craft meaning, as what's an author without an audience? What's the point in words that are never meant to be read? You give me a purpose to keep writing, and I'm so grateful for that.
There's been a few times where I've thought about putting away the quill (so to speak) and finding another hobby or other. But something always makes me come back, whether it be a comment or review, or just a new story idea. Writing has got me hooked, and I am a most willing addict.
So I suppose what I'm trying to say is that without you guys keeping me on my toes and keeping me on the straight and narrow, I wouldn't be where I am today. I've thoroughly enjoyed my career as a writer thus far, and I intend to enjoy it even more with the coming years. More opportunities are becoming available to me, and I can see myself actually making a career about it without having to publish a book. 'Freelance Author' has a nice ring to it, yeah?
I'm getting off-topic again. In conclusion, thanks to you, I can make something I'm passionate about and love with all my soul something I can actually--maybe--do for a living, depending on what path I take. And I'll never be able to repay that.
