Department H.
"I'm sorry, I didn't receive any message about you," Scarlett stated.
"Oh," he stopped. "Must have slipped her mind, she is getting old after all."
The sky-blue-haired lady narrowed her eyes at the man sitting before her. "Commander Ringworm, was it? Could you please explain the situation?"
"With pleasure." The said commander leaned back on his chair and cleared his throat. "After the gallant victory on MoonFour and Clave-Ar, Miss Havishma needed someone to watch over the star while she took care of other matters."
He continued. "She intended to give this duty to Ace McClain, but things didn't work out too well so I ended up being the Commander of the new squad that was created on Moonfour… you really never heard of me?" He furrowed.
Scarlett shook her head no.
The orange-haired man's face palmed and sighed disappointedly. "I was away for a few days and everyone screened me out of their mind, I feel hurt and insulted."
"I'm ehm… I'm sorry about how you feel, but could you proceed?"
"Right," he started again. "While I was fulfilling my duties, Miss Havishma ordered me to return to Winter Weir and assist you at the Prime Hall for the meeting."
"But I'm supposed to be the one representing her…"
Steve put his hands up. "Oh you're still representing her," he chipped. "She wants me to be there to help stir the meeting in a good way."
"So you'll be assisting me?"
"Kinda… there's a topic she wants me to put out when the meeting starts," he revealed.
"Miss Havishma told you? And not me? Oh god, she still doesn't trust that I can… what did I do wrong? After almost getting killed on duty, this is what she's repaying me with? I thought we were close. Like… oh." She dug her hands into her sky-blue hair.
The orange-haired man's brows shoot up. "Oh no, she does trust you. Miss Havishma feared that Department H had been bugged by the enemy party, so she informed me about the plan, to inform you just minutes before the meeting started, that way, the enemies won't know or be able to counter what we had going."
"Miss Havishma initially had plans to attend the meeting virtually, but things got a little more intense on Earth so she's having us handle this, that's how much trust she has."
Scarlett dropped her hand and a smile slowly crawled back up her lips. "Oh," she muttered before leaning forward. "What's the plan then?"
Meanwhile, inside a car in front of the Prime Hall of Winter Weir, Galliard, a member of the People threw his head back as he laughed at a joke made by the caramel-haired man, the Prime of Winter Weir, Damino Silverr.
"And with Miss Havishma gone, this is going to be a really fun meeting," Damiano asserted.
Galliard nodded agreeably. "I actually have thought about a way to get her completely out of the picture," he started. "She did say she would be returning in a week, it's past that now, we could raise a complaint and make the People believe she's dead."
Damiano pinched his jaw and nodded. "Yes, that's a very good plan. Maybe if we hire some sky pirates to hijack and destroy her ships on their way back..." They threw their head back and laughed again.
"Oh, how I am already anticipating the coming days without Havishma all over the place."
"Indeed." Damiano paused for a moment before speaking. "Let's head inside, the meeting should be starting anytime now."
The duo proceeded to the room where the meeting was to take place and both took their seat. A few moments later, other members of the People and the leaders of each respective agency of the Cycle Organization, including Madeline Gurley and Emerald Klay, slowly began to make their presence in the Prime Hall.
Damiano threw a nod at Galliard. He crossed his legs and cleared his throat before speaking. "Without wasting any more time than we already have, I'll announce the commencement of this year's, Prime meeting."
The door suddenly slid open giving way for Scarlett and Commander Ringworm to step into the room. Damiano leaned forward with a frown as he realized who it was. "What are you two doing here? Does the security let just anyone in here?
"I'm sorry for not making it here on time," the sky blue-haired girl chipped.
"What do you think you're doing here, Scarlett?" Damiano queried. "A representative can't be sent to a Prime meeting, it is a written rule..."
"Only if the individual is out for much more pressing matter, also written in the same rule you've just mentioned," she chipped.
The orange-haired man inched forward. "Miss Havishma couldn't make it back at the scheduled time because of how pressing the matter has become over at Earth. She can't even attend the meeting virtually, so she sent us to sit here as her representative, hopefully, we will be able to match her role."
The caramel-haired man clenched his fist and turned to Galliard who pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. He stayed quiet for a few seconds before speaking. "Very well, you may sit."

Madrid, Spain.
The twins' spaceship landed in front of yet another mansion owned by the McCarthy. The building was a little old, but it was huge and guarded by some men armed with weapons.
The dark-haired man followed behind Phoenix and Luna as they stepped out of the spaceship and walked into the mansion.
Luna turned to the dark-haired man with a smile refusing to leave her lips. "Make yourself at home, after all, this will soon be."
Rohan was confused. He glanced at Phoenix who quietly moved to pour herself a drink before turning back to the older twin.
"I don't understand. Why are you helping me?" He probed.
"What do you mean?" She moved forward and wrapped her arms around his, pulling him to also sit on the couch.
"I had assumed you would want to turn me in and get the reward... For your family, or yourself even."
The chestnut brown-haired girl laughed. "Hey sis, you hear this guy?" She threw her head back as she continued laughing.
The dark-haired man looked at Phoenix who only held his stare for a second before turning back to Luna.
"Then why are you helping me?"
Luna got up from her seat and filled up two glasses. "We couldn't give two fucks about what the government is offering for a pretty boy like you," she said before passing one of the cups to Rohan.
He collected it and unhesitatingly took a sip. "Sister Chapta is infatuated to you."
The dark-haired man spat out the drink he had poured into his mouth. Seeing this, Luna threw her head back and laughed. "Ha ha ha ha you should see the look on your face right now."
"The more you speak, the more confused I get."
"How about this then… in front of everyone, sister Chapta cried that you be saved, she said she was deeply in love with you."
"That's… wow," the dark-haired man took another sip of his drink, and this time, he swallowed it.
"Dominic immediately ordered that you be protected and brought back safely." She leaned back on the chair and sighed. "I am jealous though, sister Chapta always gets the finest of things while we are left with scraps, it's so unfair."
"I'm not even sure what to say right now, it's all just so shocking."
"Don't you feel the same way about Chapta?" Luna sat up straight.
The dark-haired man's brows shoot up. He turned to the girl sitting by his side and drawled. "Well…"
"Well? What's wrong with sister Chapta? She has everything you could ever want: stable life, pretty face, big…"
"I think Chapta is great," he said, cutting her short. "What I meant to say is we..."
Luna dropped her glass on the center table and turned to Rohan. "Listen, anyone who needs more than a day to know how they feel about another is sick." She went quiet and looked deep into his blue eyes.
Silence swallowed the entire room as the two held each other's stare.
"Do you like riddles?" A soft voice asked from across the room, breaking the quietness.
The duo turned to Phoenix with Rohan's brows up. "Wha… she talks?"
"Only when she's taken a liking to you." She nudged him with her elbow. "Go ahead, answer."
"Err… yeah, I do."
"Alright then: I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?"
"Damn… that's the one I never got."
"You've never gotten any," Phoenix chipped.
Luna rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
Rohan opened his mouth to speak but an explosion interrupted him. It was then followed by rapid and continuous gunshots.
"There's no way." Luna ran towards a window in the room and looked out to see the masked man Rohan was fighting from earlier cutting through the men with his weapon.
