Back in London.
Eder inhaled and exhaled slowly as he opened his eyes to find himself in a sick bay. His breathing was very audible and he could feel the bandages wrapped around his entire body.
He tried to sit up straight but the pain pushed him back down, stopping him from moving an inch. The maroon-haired man could still feel the pain in his right shoulder as his hand got fried by the dark-haired man.
The door slid open and Yvonne walked into the sick bay with Miss Havishma following behind. The pale-skinned woman walked towards a device in the sick bay, ignoring Eder and Yvonne.
"Yvonne," Eder muttered. "Please tell me we got everything we wanted and my sacrifice wasn't in vain."
Yvonne looked at the red-haired man before shaking her head. "I'm sorry, Eder."
Miss Havishma finally turned her attention to the two. "What your boss is trying to say was that the mission was a gigantic failure," she said, moving to stand in the maroon-haired man's sight.
"Who are you?" He asked, not recognizing the dark-haired woman that stood before him. He had been to Winter Weir and had seen photos of Miss Havishma before, but his injury seemed to have caused him to forget.
Miss Havishma extended her hand for a handshake. "Oh, sorry," she said, dropping her hand back to her side. "I'm Havishma Bubentres. The Chief and representative of Winter Weir."
Eder stayed quiet. He stared at the pale-skinned woman for a while before shifting his eyes to Yvonne who nodded yes.
Miss Havishma caught this and a small smile crawled up her lips. "She's too embarrassed to tell you, so let me," she paused. "Winter Weir has control of Earth. But don't you worry, once we get what we came here for, we'll be on our way," she continued.
"Which leads me to my next question: where is Storm 01?"
"I do not answer to you."
Miss Havishma shifts her brows up before turning to Yvonne. The dark-skinned woman sighed and looked at Eder Six. "What happened at the island?"
"But Yvonne, we can't…"
"Eder!"
The red-haired man closed his eyes shut. "I need some rest, please leave."
Yvonne opened her mouth to lash out at the Ealien soldier but Miss Havishma placed her hand on her shoulder. "You heard him, let him rest," Miss Havishma nodded and walked out of the sickbay where she met Sox.
"Sox, hey, why didn't you come in?"
Sox shrugged. "Ehh… don't like those two."
"Right, what is it?"
She handed a tablet she was holding to Miss Havishma. "The Blue squad searched through the whole Serenova isle and much of this… London, but there's no sign of Storm 01."
"I see. Have you put out the wanted list?" Havishma probed.
"I did, but only ranged it to London, we may get a reply soon."
Miss Havishma nodded and paced forward for a moment before turning back. "Make the range the whole of Earth, he might have already left the country."
"Do you think anyone would be able to catch him?"
Miss Havishma furrowed. "Their job is to alert us if they sight him. It'll be suicide if they try fighting him."
"Yeah, I thought so too. I'll make the changes now."
.
.
.
The dark-haired man paired his eyes through the window of a car as they drove through the street of London. He barely stayed on Earth for a month but he had become very famous as his face was everywhere: on the floating billboards, buildings, walls, and even projected from the poles around. Everywhere he turned to had his face around, he had become a wanted criminal.
"Wow, so many posters, old pictures of me, but so many," he said out loud.
Chapta who was sitting next to the dark-haired man nodded. "Mmm, it's too much posters for one person."
"Lady Chapta," the platinum blonde-haired girl who brought Rohan his clothes called from the driver's seat. She pointed straight ahead to alert them of what was in front.
The duo sitting behind followed her hands to where she was pointing. A group of Storm troopers had blocked the road, searching each car before they were allowed to pass.
"What the hell are Storm Troopers doing here?"
"Que? Storm Troopers?"
"Those guys are agents of Winter Weir," he revealed. "Why are they walking freely on Earth's soil?"
The former Storm agent was confused. He thought it was Yvonne and the UNEAD that made him a wanted criminal, but it was much more than he thought.
"Hazel, isn't there a different route we could go through?"
"There is, but we are already surrounded by other cars, there's no going back."
Hazel drove the car forward to where the Storm agents were. Immediately they got close, Chapta grabbed the dark-haired man's collar and pressed her lips against his.
The Storm agent slipped his head through the window. "I'm sorry for the hold-up but we need…" his words trail off as he caught sight of the two. "Err… well."
Hazel looked back and her brows rocketed into her hairline. She turned back to the Storm agent and let out a broken chuckle. "Heh… those two can't get their hands off each other, sorry."
"Oh no, it's fine. You're clear," the agent said before moving away from the car.
Chapta pulled away from Rohan and tucked a stray hair behind her ear while the dark-haired man cleared his throat. "Well, that worked."
"You're welcome for the best thirty seconds of your life," the godmother of Faintpin claimed.
"That's…" she pressed her index finger on his lips and shook her head. "Don't ruin it."
Rohan sighed and looked out the window, he looked back at the stormtroopers before turning straight ahead"Where are we headed anyway?"
"Spain," the brown-haired woman replied. "Unless you want me to turn you in. They did put a load of bounty on your head that could turn a man in million-dollar debt into a lifetime billionaire... But I'll keep you."
"Lady Chapta, with the bounty on his head, surely others will come after him, especially the Hawksworth family. And if they find out you have him, it won't be good," Hazel stated.
"A risk I'm willing to take," Chapta said with her eyes straight ahead.
"I think I'd be better off on my own."
"How? Where would you go to?" The brown-haired woman chipped.
Rohan furrowed as he spoke. "Anywhere that doesn't put you or your family in jeopardy."
"You said you came to Earth alone which means apart from your Weir friends that want to arrest you, you know no one here, and have nowhere to go. So you're coming with me, consider this part of your payment for destroying my car," she stated.
The dark-haired Weir shook his head and let out a sigh. "fine then."
Hazel eyed him through the rear mirror before turning her attention back to the road ahead.
