1808 ( Zoda, Winter Weir )
Rain X stood over a bridge staring into a frozen river that was beneath the bridge. He tried to call Miss Havishma again but still nothing. Everything else on the watch still functioned well, everything but calls. He slipped his hand into his pocket and took a deep breath.
As he stared at the river, the only thing that went through his head was confusion. He stood in the middle of a place where he knew no one, and the buildings were slightly a little different than the way they were in his time. The more he thought about it, the more lost in the loop he got. He could only bring it down to two things; time travel and the Z-Syrup.
The dark-haired man veered around and leaned his back on the railings of the bridge. He looked up at a digital billboard to see an advert for a refugee camp for the people of Zoda located near the borders of the Realm.
Rain X had no idea what to do. He thought about going to Departure H to tell them what had happened but realized that he went far back and anyone he knows in his time might not be alive or part of the D.H. now.
He caught a glimpse, through his peripheral vision, of a young girl climbing onto the railings of the bridge just a few steps from where he was. He turned his whole body to look at her. The girl wore a white gown with blue flowers designed all over it that stopped just above her ankle over her pale skin. She had long dark hair that poured over her shoulder and blue eyes.
He watched curiously as the girl balanced herself on the railings. She closed her eyes and a few seconds later, she let herself fall.
"No!" Rain X shouted out loud. In one swift move, the dark-haired man grabbed the girl in his arms and crashed on the ground just away from the frozen river with sparks of electricity flashing all around the place.
He rolled off the girl and coughed out, it was the fastest he had ever moved and he felt as if his insides were burning up.
"What are you?" The blue-eyed girl queried in a breathless tone.
Rain X held his chest and let out a muffled scream as the pain became even more. His right eye turned bright blue as his scream became more audible.
The blue-eyed girl squatted beside the Rain agent and placed her right hand on his forehead. "What is going on? Are you okay? Oh my god!"

Rain X sat on a chair in a small diner with the young girl he saved earlier also sitting across a table in front of him. He watched her quietly as she finished her fourth piece of the seven space-bread kept in front of her.
The blue-eyed girl looked at Rain X and then down at his plate. "Are you not eating?" She queried.
Rain X shook his head no. "Nah, I'm full. All I need is a drink," he said, taking a sip of the orange juice in front of him. The girl extended her hand and pulled his plate to herself.
"Just to be clear, you're paying for all these, right?" She asked.
The dark-haired man looked down at the table and shrugged. "I mean, sure, why not," he replied.
The girl smiled happily and continued swallowing down the food like starving prey who barely caught its victim after a long chase.
"What about your parents?"
The girl doesn't reply. She continued eating and finally gulped down a cup of juice before clearing her throat. "I lost them to the uprising four years ago."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Must be hard..."
"First," she chipped. "Instead of apologizing, how about you pray they rest in peace? Second... I didn't exactly find it hard, it has been an incredible experience without them around, so."
Rain X furrowed as he stared at the girl. He could see it in her eyes that the girl was trying to be strong. "You tried to... Unalive yourself just a while ago."
"I did. And that's because I had nothing left to experience in this life," she stated. "I just used all of my savings and also took a loan to sponsor the research that'll get me a position in Quantum Corp, but they rejected me so I thought it was all over."
"You tried to take your life because one thing didn't work out!?"
The blue-eyed girl stared at Rain X for a couple of moments before breaking down in tears.
"W-why? I'm so sorry," Rain X apologized.
The dark-haired man looked around to see everyone now staring at them.
The girl cried even louder until her face became covered in tears. "I thought if I don't think about it and just end my life it'll all be over! I had no one and couldn't think about anything else to do!" She wailed.
"Err… come on," Rain X passed the girl a napkin that was on the table. "Wipe your face. It's okay."
The girl sobbed before taking the napkin to wipe her tears. She took a cup of water on the table and took a sip of it. "I thought if I just do it quietly it'll be me being strong and able to take responsibility for myself, but I guess I was wrong," she said with a teary voice. "I tried to be strong, I really did."
"Ever since the uprising, ever since I lost them, I've never had it well. And it's not easy being alone on this planet, I miss them, I really miss them a lot." Rain X placed his jaw on his palm as he listened to the girl talk.
"Come on, come with me." Rain X and the blue-eyed girl stepped out of the diner and into the streets of Zoda.
"Why didn't you go to the State? Don't they give home to people who lost their families to the Uprising?" Rain X queried. He remembered reading about the history of the uprising and how the State gave aid to the victims of the uprising back when he was in school.
"I was there. I ran away a few days ago to pursue my dreams, but it didn't work out," the blue-eyed girl stated.
"Tell me about your dreams?"
"I don't want to think about it. I feel I'd break down in tears again if I talk about it. This planet does not give people like me the opportunity to be something great," she replied.
"If you don't like the planet the way it is, then why don't you shape it into how you want it to be?" He said. "Taking your life won't change anything, and it looks like no one wants to change it, so, why don't you."
The pale-skinned girl pierced her blue eyes at the dark-haired man in awe. She then smiled and nodded. "Mmm."
The duo walked for a few more minutes before sitting on a bench under a tree that was covered in snow.
"What will you do now?" Rain X asked.
The blue-eyed girl pinched her jaw for a couple of moments and hummed. "I'll go back to the State's camp to get my loan settled," she said with a smile.
Rain X let out a soft chuckle. "That's smart. You're a really smart kid," The dark-haired man sighed.
"Earlier when you saved me..." the girl started. "... I saw sparks of electricity as we landed on the ground. And the pain you were feeling it was... What are you?"
The dark-haired man remained quiet, weighing whether or not to answer her question. "I'll only tell you if you promise never to unalive yourself, no matter how hard things get."
"I promise."
"Well, I'm actually from the future."
The blue-eyed girl widened her eyes in shock. "Really? What year are you from?"
"1835."
"Oh my god, I can't believe it. Are you really from 1835? How are things there?" The young girl asked curiously.
Rain X smiled and placed his hand over his watch. "It's actually better than things now. There are no more camps, and the Quantum Realm Corp helped in developing the planet, a lot."
"Wow. That's so cool. Wish they'd accept my application so I'll be part of those who made this planet a better place," the blue-eyed girl stated with a small smile.
The dark-haired man noticed the look on the girl's face. "They're a lot of other things that changed this planet, like Department H."
"Department H?" She queried.
Rain X nodded. "Yeah, I'm an agent there. I know it doesn't mean a lot now, but Department H became the best agency in the Cycle organization," he revealed. "We are just one step away from being the best planet." Rain X showed his hand with electricity forming around it.
"Whoa!" The girl exclaimed in excitement.
"A lot of beautiful things that you won't want to miss happened in the future. So stay alive kid."
The blue-eyed girl smiled and threw herself on Rain X, hugging him tight. "I can't wait to get to your time. I promise I'll make sure to also be responsible for developing this planet."
Rain X exhaled before tapping the girl's head gently. "Maybe you already are, kid."
"What's your name?"
The young girl pulled back to look at Rain X. "I'm …" Before she could complete her words, the dark-haired man's senses got interrupted by a bright blinding blue light. As his vision cleared, he was laying on the ground with his eyes fixated on the sky.
"Miss Havishma, I think I found something!" A familiar voice came in from far away. Rain X turned his head to see Percy approaching him.
"Good to see you alive agent. Miss Havishma never doubted."
"Huh."
