*Department H* ( IN SPACE )
Damiano exited a cargo ship that just ported on D.H. He wore a black plain T-shirt coupled with a Jean trousers. Just one look at him and anyone could tell he was pissed. He walked up to a female white agent who helped the spaceship to a stop. "Take me to Miss Havishma immediately!" He yelled at the top of his voice.
The agent looked him up and down before raising her eyebrows. "I'm sorry, who are you?" She questioned.
"I am Damiano Silverr and you will take me to Havishma right this instant." Damiano only got enraged with every second he spent talking to the White agent.
"What's going on here?" The unmistakable voice of Ace McClain came in from behind. The duo turned to face him.
"This man here claims to be Damiano and demands I take him to Miss Havishma," the agent revealed.
Ace looked at Damiano, at first his brows were up then he shook his head up and down, finally recognizing the caramel-haired man. They all recognized Damiano with his expensive clothing, so it was a little unusual now that he was out of them.
"Mr. Silverr, I apologize on behalf of this agent for not recognizing you sooner, even I found it a little difficult. Right this way, sir," Ace stated before showing the way with his hand.
Damiano exhaled softly before walking towards the exit with Electro 44 following closely behind.
"Is everything okay sir?" Ace queried.
"What?"
"The way you're dressed, it doesn't quite speak your name…"
"Just take me to Havishma!" The Electro agent nodded and showed him to Miss Havishma's pad before retreating to his duty.
The door to the pad opened after he knocked a few times. Damiano took a deep breath before stepping into the pad, he found Miss Havishma sitting on a couch with a cup of tea in her hand. Though they both remained quiet, the heat and tension in the room were unmistakably loud.
"Damiano, I almost didn't recognize you with what you were wearing. That's quite the look on you," Miss Havishma uttered softly before lowering her cup to the table in front of her.
"Mmm, the Cyclone agents at MY port refused to let me through without paying for the travel. So I had to sell the suit I was wearing to pay for the fee to get here. It was really difficult to find a buyer for such expensive clothing…"
"Are you gonna stand there all day or you're gonna take a seat?" Havishma brushed away his words. Damiano fixed his top and strode to sit on the couch across the table in front of Havishma.
"I must applaud you for your befitting reply to my actions. I admit I underestimated you," Damiano stated.
Miss Havishma crossed her legs and folded her arms around her chest. "Underestimate?" She scoffed.
"I've heard your warnings, Havishma, and I promise not to make the Z-syrup ever unless with your consent. So please return my assets," the caramel-haired man said.
"Why don't I believe what you've just said?… Do you think it's because I have no way of knowing what's going on in the Quantum Realm Corp? You could say this now and do something entirely different," Havishma stated.
The caramel-haired man dug his hand into his hair and groaned loudly. "You know it wasn't all me!" Damiano barked. "Do you think I'd be able to get the formula from Aix? Not even the best of my hackers could do it."
"So you tried." Havishma narrowed her eyes.
Damiano opened his mouth to talk but couldn't make out any word to help his case. He then pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "All I'm trying to say is that Chief was in on this too. He was the one who plotted the whole plan!"
"There's a plan?" Havishma asked. She picked up her cup of tea from the table and take a sip. "Why don't you enlighten me about this 'plan'? Maybe I'll consider talking about returning your assets."
The moment Havishma mentioned the return of his assets, Damiano sat upright and cleared his throat, he immediately began pouring out whatever he knew to her. "Some months ago, Chief came to me with a proposal. He offered me a lot of money, something I couldn't say no to," he started. "In return, I have my lab scientist make the Z-syrup for him."
Miss Havishma raised her brows. "Nothing I don't already know there."
"I really didn't care why he wanted to make the Z-syrup, but he told me that he intends to sell it to different urban guerillas..."
"… So that I'll be blamed because I have the formula," Havishma giggled.
Damiano nodded. "He wants you out of Department H. He claimed people act as if you were the Chief and not him."
"And you agreed to help him for mere money?"
"Not just for the money, he offered me a position at D.H. something you promised a long time ago when you asked for my help…"
"I made you the Prime of Winter Weir, isn't that more than just the position as Chief of Department H! Isn't that enough?!" Havishma exhaled deeply before rising to her feet. She walked up to her desk and sat on the chair.
Damiano stood up from where he was seated and stepped closer to the desk. "I'm not the enemy here Havishma, Augustine is. He's been looking for ways to get you out of the picture."
Havishma scoffed and bite the side of her lower lips. "Get me out? Oh, how delusional. I made Department H the way it is today. Not only Department H, I made Winter Weir the way it is today, I shaped this planet into the perfect star that it is today and I intend to keep it that way..." She stopped and tucked her hair back. "But it looks like I am alone in this, all those I thought walked with me were actually plotting behind my back." Miss Havishma remained quiet as if taking a long walk down memory lane.
Damiano took a step forward. "I told you everything I know and I promised not to make the Z-syrup, could I get my stuff back now?"
Miss Havishma shifts her eyes to face him. She stared at him for a little while before smiling. "Of course. I'll give back the Q.R.C. but I need you to arrange a meeting…" her words were suddenly cut off by a blue beeping light from the tablet on her table. She clicked on it and it projected a hologram of Ishary.
"Miss Havishma, this is urgent."
"What is it?"
"Two of Department H's agents were attacked by the runway Meta Family down on Zoda... Rain X is one of the agents."
.
.
.
Rain X slowly inhaled and exhaled as he tried not to run out of breath from the covering that was placed over his head. He tried to pull his hands but the magnetic cuffs and the restraint that tied him to the chair he was seated on stopped him.
The last thing he saw after the men of the Meta Family took him from the Cherry parlour was the huge spaceship they forced him into. He felt as the spaceship took off so he could assume they were no longer on Winter Weir.
A door slid open and footsteps approached the Rain agent. There was a little silence before the covering was pulled off his face.
Rain X took a deep breath and looked around the place he was held captive. He caught a glimpse of the three men that were standing a few steps behind with their hands behind their backs. Four richly dressed elderly men and two women sat on a chair in front of the agent, watching him closely, behind them was a huge masked man who was at least twice the height of Asuncion that was standing in front of him.
"Where are we? Where are you taking me?"
"The same place you took all those people on Moonfour."
"This is the guy that murdered Lord Ramsey?" One of the men questioned.
"I want his insides. He should be fed to the dogs in the cabin," another stated.
Asuncion covered her mouth with her hand and giggled while holding the dark-haired man's stare. "I get to decide what we do to him. After all, Ramsey was my fiance." She slowly pulled out a gun from her pocket with a wide smile on her face.
"That's an easy death Lady Asuncion," one of the women called out.
Asuncion furrowed and turned to face the lady. "We don't have time to waste, if we don't kill him now the neutralization syrup might wear off. And that's the last of it."
The door slid open and a man walked into the room. "Lady Asuncion, we picked up a signal of a Department H spaceship catching up from behind."
"What now, Lady Asuncion?" Rain X stated.
Asuncion's smile faded. She swiftly veered around to face the Rain agent and fired three holes in his head, the dark-haired man fell with the chair he was tied to on the ground, motionless as blood dripped down his head.
"Prepare the men, and get them somewhere secure, Khaland," she said to the huge masked man.
