UNION
A batch of soldiers rushed in front of Hailey and Yvonne. Without hesitation, they opened fire at the figure that approached them. A red energy shield appeared, blocking the shots.
The shield disappeared and the figure suddenly appeared in front of one of the soldiers. The man punched him and the force of the punch sent the soldier flying into the soldiers behind.
He stood straight and exhaled deeply before turning his head to look at Yvonne. "Hello, Miss Starla. I hope you didn't miss me too much?"
"Jacob Marksman," Yvonne muttered.

.
In an airplane.
Eder Six restlessly paced around the deck of the plane as it soared through the sky. He dug his hands into his hair and cussed.
"But I saw Jacob exploded with my two eyes back in Winter Weir, how is he still alive?" The dark-haired man probed.
Six sighed before taking a sitting on an empty seat. "Okay, here's the deal about it," he started. "A long time ago, our engineers came up with an idea to make life easy for the citizens. They wanted to make something that'll perform all the basic house maintenance, hence the Genesis."
"He created a robot that helped with cooking, cleaning, whatever work that'll help people. As time went on, they developed this creation even more; Genesis, Genesis 1, Genesis 1.0, Genesis K.D., and the most recent one for house care, Genesis 2, they can talk and converse, even look like normal beings."
"And then an engineer, El Chapman, thought that the Genesis would be a great way to limit the lives lost during battle, so he started the Genesis 8 project, creating robots that'll fight in battles and defend the planet, the project was a success and it was accepted by the H.O.E."
"The Genesis halted at 8 with no new creations only upgrades of the already existing one, until Ada died of an incurable illness in 1786."
The dark-haired man's eyes widened in shock. "1786?"
Eder nodded. "Ada has actually been around even before the galactic war. She was very skilled in battle and led her team to many victories," he continued. "But in 1786, a virus attacked one of our military bases, infecting everyone in it, and Ada was part of those in the base. She was diagnosed with this virus that infected the neural spine."
"The virus continued to spread and in as little as two years, she couldn't even breathe without the help of external devices. After she passed, El Chapman thought of a way to transfer her brain and some of her core organs that weren't fully infected by the virus into a young and alive body: that was the creation of Genesis Z."
The dark-haired man only stared in shock as he listened to Eder. He was just as much amazed at everything he had heard from Six.
Eder continued. "After multiple failed tries, it wasn't till after the Galactic war was the project completed and fully working. We had resurrected one of the best minds on our planet and even made her better. The H.O.E. immediately ordered that the process be used on other individuals on Earth, but because of the very few resources and the amount it took to foresee the experiment, it was only done for four more individuals.
"Venus: she has similar features as Ada. Minus-3, you know him as Cake Armi: he is basically a human CCTV, every moment of his life, from when he was created to the moment the information will be extracted is recorded in his eyes. And among the five Genesis Z is Jacob Marksman."
"That bastard," the former Department H agent mumbled.
Eder ignored his comment and continued speaking. "Jacob was also in the military base when the virus struck, but…" he paused for a few seconds as if looking for ways to put his words together. "But he took his life before El figured out his research."
"We did manage to secure what we needed to save him. Though Genesis Z do have minds like that of human beings, they also have codes aiding their minds.
"But Jacob was different in the aspect. Marksman is a weapon. He is so advanced that he can rewrite his code however he sees fit, and that was the mistake we made, giving him control of his code. He broke his code and went crazy, disappearing from our radar after destroying Nator. Our engineers read his cloud history before he broke free, and they saw that he plans on destroying the whole of UNEAD. His code seem to have been corrupted and he believes we killed his family.
"The Jacob you fought on your planet is nothing but a fraction of the real Jacobs's mind. A clone code of what we had left of the real Jacob, and if he has the Powerball, it will be difficult to defeat him."
The dark-haired man sighed. "What if I help? His 'codes' haven't interacted with me before so he'll be facing a whole different entity."
"It's a good idea, but he has the Powerball. The Powerball is like an AI with a mind of its own too. It can grow and learn from its user, and even expand its range of attack," the maroon-haired man revealed. "It can absorb light, heat, cold, electricity is not an exception."

"You do not want to do this Jacob," Yvonne mumbled while inching backwards with Hailey behind her.
Jacob laughed. "How the tables have turned." His hands slowly morphed into blades. "I remember saying those exact words to you years ago when you had your soldiers aimed their gun at my pregnant wife."
"You have to understand Jacob, what was done, had to be done."
His smile faded and his face turned neutral again. "And you have to understand, that life returns people's actions to them in various ways. I am but the results of your actions."
Jacob breathed out loud as both his hands turned into a long sharp sword. He then bent a little, shooting his upper region forward and his legs slightly up, ready to launch himself at the duo.
Before he could launch his attack, rapid footsteps filled the air as an entity swiftly approached from behind the duo, it was Ada.
She leaped over the two and planted a tremendous kick that sent him flying back. Without wasting time, she charged forward, throwing strong and rapid punches that forced the bald man to defend himself. Jacob managed to create distance between his opponent to calm his senses.
"Ada," he muttered. "I do not want to hurt you. Stay out of this Ada."
"I wish I could." She was very fast that to a regular being it looked like she teleported to where Jacob was.
She tried a left punch but Jacob dodged, giving him an opening. He drove his sword hand into her abdomen. But this didn't affect Ada in the slightest.
She grabbed Jacob's head with both her hands and headbutted him so hard the flesh on his face tore off. She then hurled him through a glass door beside them.
Ada turned to Yvonne. "Don't just stand there, go…" Before she could complete her words, Jacob sent her flying into the glass wall behind with a thunderous punch.
Ada quickly got back on her feet and charged forward. She raised her hand to attack the bald man. Just as she was inches away from colliding her fist with his jaw, she froze in her tracks, unable to move.
A mischievous grin crawled up Jacob's lips as he looked at Ada's fist.
The red-haired lady tried but couldn't move any part of her body. She felt a force holding her from even blinking.
"That's right," Jacob started as his right hand once again morphed into a long sword. "I have the Powerball, that only makes you all slaves to my will."
