No one told me Ikea was such a fun place. I know I’m a legal adult but I acted like such a kid in there. We went through the display rooms and it was magical. We went through each one trying to find stuff to go in the house. Everything has such funky names! Like Loberget! I can go tell everyone I got a Loberget and it’s just a chair! Daffi ruined my fun telling me it was Swedish but that’s fine. I still have a Loberget. We figured that with the bed frames we chose we’d have to put our beds in the same space and then have a study room. We spent a bit under $800 which is… more than we expected. We also got a shark toy so that’s probably why. It was $780 on the dot. We’re so so lucky our parents helped getting all the furniture to the house. Uncle Dan let us use his tools as well. So we don’t need to buy any of those either. Daffi and I had saved up for this stuff earlier so this didn’t hit our savings too bad. Though we decided it would be easier to eat takeout for the next few days while we build everything. Hopefully we can get some of our friends to help too. As confident as Daffi and I are, we tried building a table today and just failed. Badly. I’m writing this on the floor.
