Dear Daisy,
I have so many things to tell you about today. It was… full on to say the least. We spent the first half of the day doing shirt signing. I mainly just got all the year twelves to sign mine and three teachers.
At a break I helped Daffi out with his comic or so he says. I mostly just stood there as he drew me to ‘model’. I’m not sure if he wanted to just make me look stupid or not. At least Iris joined in too. We both looked like dumbasses in the middle of the library. I’m pretty sure Daffi took a photo of us too. I’m going to murder him if he puts in on the group chat… he’s also really close to publishing the first part of his comic. I’m really excited for him and proud at the same time.
Now for the…not so amazing stuff. So after school the three of us went to Dia’s house which was surprisingly big. No, bigger than big. It was gigantic. You know how there was that house we always walked past to get to the milk bar? IT’S THAT HOUSE! It was a bit surreal that the place we thought was owned by some crazy rich dude. I mean well, technically we weren’t wrong. But there’s an actual family living there. The inside looked nothing like what we thought it was too! Like, it’s fancy but there aren’t fancy paintings or butlers. We didn’t really get to spend a lot of time touring. Dia showed us the bathrooms and the kitchen and her room then that was basically it. Her room is so so big! It’s split into two parts, a sewing one and her actual bedroom. Fabric was everywhere I swear. She cleared a circle of fabric which we got to sit in. It was kind of fun. But I feel bad for Iris, there were so many steps inside. He can sort of walk due to the time he spent in the hospital but Brennan had to help him a bit.
Now the Dahlia issue. So Daffi and I told the group we had something important to tell them beforehand. It was a bit awkward but Daffi and I basically told everyone everything that happened in a timeline. Iris looked mortified the entire time. I feel bad because Dahlia is like, his closest friend they’ve known each other since kindergarten; if someone told me you did that I wouldn’t know what to do. Everyone believed us, luckily. No one really asked for proof which was a relief. We all sort of agreed to drift away from her once school is done but we won’t cut her off entirely. I feel a bit bad… yeah she dated me to date my best friend and made him uncomfortable but maybe she just has some stuff to work through? I’m not sure. I guess I won’t have to deal with her too much in the future since I only have three more days left of high school.
Love,
Kai
