Dear Daisy,
The school took us to Gumbya World today, exactly like they did in Year Seven. I'm pretty sure they plan it like that.
Since the bus ride was like an hour and a half we brought a card game with us. Was it the best idea in retrospect? Not really. But whatever, we had fun playing and since Iris was in the wheelchair space we sat next to him and basically stuck the cards in his lap. They fell over so so many times.
We started off at the swim area and stayed in there for ‘way too long’ according to Daffi. He’s not wrong either. We were VERY pruney. I think we got distracted splashing each other with water and chatting. Iris wasn’t super confident with swimming so we didn’t force him to or really swim ourselves. Do you know what we did do though? We went on all the waterslides. It was absolutely fucking crazy, hearing Daffi and Iris screaming so much. They kept bullying me about the way my scream sounded. I didn’t even know that was a thing. I pushed Daffi over in the animal area as payback though.
I’m honestly not sure what happened after. It was just a lot of moving around and talking. We got in the pool and avoided Dahlia a few times.
Actually, Daffi’s boyfriend made us food! I can’t believe I forgot that. It was delicious, he made us sandwiches with bear-shaped bread and macrons that looked like sharks. SHARK MACARONS. You would have absolutely loved them!
There's only one day left… then high school is over forever. This is crazy.
