Dear Daisy,
Today I went out with Zinnia for the photos! They had on this outfit that reminded me of those games you used to love playing. The ones with the characters and they would go on adventures in mystical lands. I loved every second of taking photos with them. Some were close ups of objects while others were of Zinnia posing. It was…the best. I loved it. I want to do it again. Taking all these photos made me feel so happy.
Then to make my day even better I sat down and had my conversation with mom. We talked about why mom and dad split up. There was abuse and apparently there were a bunch of other things going on in the background. She explained and apologised what happened that day as well. She said she knows what she said will cause me pain for a long time and that she knew she couldn’t just put a bandage on these wounds but she wanted to help recover them slowly. I don’t think I forgive her but it’s a start. We also discussed therapy. She said it was a great idea. Then there was this biggest issue. Me moving out with Daffi. At first she seemed worried and a bit sad but as I explained it mom accepted it a bit. Mom even agreed to help me with the application as well as find backup schools.
I don’t think I could have asked for anything better today. I even got to meet up with Daffi, Iris and Dahlia! We met up at a cafe and had some fun! I also signed up for a job there. As much as I love the centre I don’t really earn anything and I need to start saving up a bit more. So I might get a job there. I’m a bit scared but what’s the worst that could happen?
