*The Underground, Winter Weir*
A Department H spaceship landed on the soil of the Underground, meeting the already ported ships there. The door slid open and a battalion of the Rain troopers matched out to join the Electro squad already there.
"Reinforcement is here Captain Havishma," a man from the Rain squad, with brown hair and yellow stripes on the sides of his hair said. He had a lit cigarette in his hand.
"Captain Mamen, I'm glad you made it. Come." Havishma led him into a nearby camp they had set up. Inside, they met with Electro 28 and two other agents from the squad.
"What's the status?" Mamen asked.
She placed a tablet on a table and tapped on it. The device projected a picture of a young girl.
"Who is the youngy?" Mamen queried.
"This is Scarlett Starr, the daughter of Prime Starr. The terrorists have her and 24 other citizens of Zoda captive, here, in a local academy. They demand 200 barrels of pure fuel or they will all be terminated."
Mamen puffed on his cigarette and pulled a chair to sit on. "Why don't the bastard just give em what they ask for? Doesn't he want to see his daughter again?"
"First," she started. "The terrorists have no idea that she is the daughter of the Prime. Second, Winter Weir do not have as much as 200 barrels, and even if we do, there's no way we'll let a terrorist group have that much pure fuel," Havishma barked.
Mamen leaned back on his chair and sighed. "What is the plan then?"
"You."
"Me?"
Havishma nodded. "You and your squad will move in with a car filled with 200 empty barrels and hopefully draw the terrorist out. All you have to do is stall. Long enough for my squad and I to get in, and rescue the captives along with the youngy," she explained
Mamen removed the cigarette from his mouth and threw it on the ground. He stood up and stepped on it. "Well, what are you waiting for guys? you heard the lady."
"Mamen," she called out.
He turned to look at her. "Can you not smoke out there, you'll ruin the plan."
He remained quiet for a few seconds before nodding. "You got it cap."
Havishma turned to Electro 28 after Mamen left the camp. "Mamen can't stay more than ten minutes without looking to put a stick in his mouth, and if he does, he blows up the whole plan because the terrorist are well aware that even the light from a cigarette can cause an explosion near a pure fuel. We gotta finish this quick."
"Got it," Electro 28 said before strapping his guns in the belt.
Outside the camp, Mamen had some of the troopers from his squad climb into the barrels with fully charged guns. As he climbed into the car, he took out a cigarette from its packet. Just before he lit it, Havishma stuck her hand through the window and snatched it from his mouth.
"No cigarettes, Mamen."
He groaned and ignited the car. "Fine, I won't smoke till the mission is over, I promise," he assured before igniting the car. "I'll see you on the other side, cap." He stepped on the acceleration pedal and drove away.
Havishma puts on her helmet and commanded into her comms,
[Let's move in too, squad.]
[Roger.]
Mamen approached the local academy. The group had already been contacted that their request has been reached and will have the pure fuel shipped immediately. The truck was halted by two unarmed members of the group some meters away from the main building. There were scattered trash cans all around the field.
A man in body armor walked out of the building with some men following behind him. They each had pistols strapped in their belt. It wasn't laser guns.
"Step out of the car," the man yelled.
Mamen stepped out of the car with his hands up. He had no body armor on, just the regular Rain uniform. The body armor the troopers used to wear is strong enough to stop lasers from piercing and completely repel bullets.
"Here, the pure fuels you asked for." He said, slowly dropping his hands.
"Step away from the truck," the man demanded.
"Not till I see the 25 captives you mentioned."
"You'll see the captives after, I secure the 200 barrels. One less, and I'll kill every last one of those chickens."
"Whoa, boss-man. Chill, listen..."
Meanwhile, Havishma led her squad into the building through a secret door. They had a complete layout of the building and knew every pathway to follow, which the terrorist know not about.
[Easy team. Stay vigilant.]
It was dark and the only sound they heard was the flowing water from above. Thanks to the helmet, they could see the path they walk through.
[Picking up two heat signals from ahead, they are both armed,] Electro 28 warned through the comms.
They all paused and link their backs to the wall. They saw the flashes of torch and voices followed.
"Are you seeing this?"
"Is this what I think it is?"
The flashes and voices drew closer.
"It's a secret passage outta here. We need to tell the boss about this."
As they both turned to leave, Havishma jumped out of hiding and quickly shot them down before they could take another step. They took down some other members of the group as they went further.
[I'm picking up numerous amount of heat signals straight ahead captain,] Electro 28 stated.
[The captives.]
They walked further and into the brighter part of the building. They pushed open a door and rushed into the room. Havishma and her entire squad members' faces flooded with shock. She took off her helmet and dropped it on the ground, looking around at the kidnapped citizens. "We are saved," the citizens exclaimed.
"Didn't the information say twenty-five only?" One of the Electro agents pondered.
"There are over fifty here."
Back outside, the leader of the group pulled out a dagger from his boot, in fear of blowing up the entire place. "Step away from the truck, now!"
Havishma looked around for Scarlett and took her out of the crowd.
"About time you got me out of here," she said, with an irritated voice and look. "One more second here and I would have lost it."
"I'm surprised you stayed alive with that attitude," Havishma said.
"I'm the daughter of the Prime, they couldn't do anything to me if they try. Plus you'll watch the way you speak to me"
Outside, the men swiftly inched backward in fear as Mamen took out a cigarette and a lighter. They glanced at each other in shock and confusion. Mamen froze too as his hand with the lighter reached for the cigarette.
"Shit."
The leader of the group quickly took out his gun and shot Mamen thrice. It sent him flying back into a pole behind. The sound of gunshots made the hidden Rain squad emerge and open fire at the group. The leader of the group ran back into the school. His men reached for the trashcan and took out guns.
Havishma looked out through the window. She caught sight of Mamen lying motionless on the ground with a lighter in his hand and the two sides exchanging fire.
"We need to get out of here," she said as she turned back to the others.
"That's what I've been saying..."
"Shut the fuck up, Scarlett. Just shut it," Havishma yelled at her.
She grabbed Joe and pulled him away from the others.
"What about all these people?" Electro 28 probed.
Havishma looked back at the people. They were all shaking in their seats.
"We can't move all these people through without the group catching up to us. even if we do, we don't even have enough space in our vehicles."
"Are you suggesting..."
"It's the only way out. We take the girl and leave."
She looked into his eyes and he reluctantly nodded. "Take the girl."
Electro 28 grabbed Scarlett and went back the way they came with the rest of the squad members. An agent stayed back with Havishma. She turned back to face the citizens.
"Are you not taking us out of here," an elderly woman among them queried.
Havishma grimaced. She picked up her helmet and put it on, taking a step back. "I'm sorry."
"Don't leave us here," another one of them cried. They all stood up to rush toward them, but Havishma points her gun at them.
"Stay the fuck back!" She barked.
She turned to the last remaining agent and placed her left hand on his chest. "You are a great man Electro 101."
He slightly bows his head. "Considering what I'm about to do, I don't quite think so. But I'd do anything for Winter Weir and Department H Captain," the agent said.
She smiled under her helmet and walked towards the exit but stopped as the agent called her out.
"Rowan," he said. "My name is Rowan Schlavigan captain."
She couldn't see his face, but the pain and sadness were clear in his voice.
"You shall be remembered right here Agent Schlavigan." Havishma placed her hand on her chest. "Head held high agent."
She turned and walked out. Electro 101 took off his helmet and turned to face the others there. He smiled and clicked on the object Havishma placed on his chest.
*PRESENT DAY*
The Prime and Grace Light sat in the back seat of a car, driving away from the Prime Hall.
"Should you really be threatening Miss Havishma with the evidence?" The Prime questioned.
"Every member of The People already agreed to let them carry on, we have no choice but to make her cancel the expedition herself. Knowing Miss Havishma, she'll have no choice but to do as I say."
"I hope you're right..."
A loud honk filled the air and their vision was blurred by a very bright light from ahead.
