Ch. 23
vs. 1-10: Balaam could only speak what God gave him. I don't honestly believe he was trying to curse and failing. It's more like he is being pressured to curse and knows he can't because God wont let him so he's putting on a show. Maybe that's in hopes of getting money maybe its for evil ends but nevertheless this is still God using him. God can use anybody.
vs. 11-18: This guy thought location would change God's mind? Interesting.
vs. 19-24: God is not man that He should lie. When God tells your enemies that He will fulfill a word but we still doubt. Just remember that problem you are facing God has already talked to it before you even saw it.
vs. 25-30: Still not getting it.

Ch. 24
vs. 1-9: Balaam said I don't even need to seek this time I know what God wants. He doesn't change His mind like that.
vs. 10-14: Blessed are those that bless you and cursed are those that curse you. Amen. Balak still doesn't get it. He's about to find out.

Ch. 25
vs. 1-5: They will struggle with this worship of Baal over and over again. The calf was also a symbol of Baal.
vs. 6-9: So many died because the men wanted a pretty face. How true is that even today.
vs. 10-13: Phinehas is revered for is Zeal by many Jewish people. Especially during the Pax Romana when Christ showed up on the scene that's where we get the zealots into play.
vs. 14-18: Harass them God says. What a statement. They tricked you now Harass them. The Israelites will continue to struggle with desiring women from other nations and we see with King Solomon what the effect of that action has on the people.
