Ch. 2
vs. 1-3: Now I can get behind this offering. Food. Also the smell of bread is soo good! See how God demonstrates His provision for the priest by giving Aaron and his son's a portion after the Lord has had His. Do note though that the Lord gets His portion first because the offering is to the Lord. Many people after this will get in trouble for stealing what is meant for the Lord.
vs. 4-10: What goes God have against yeast? I guess it has something to do with the Passover but it's kind of funny to think about. Notice again the clause of provision for Aaron and His son's.
vs. 11-13: Ok so it's ok to give it as other things but not as a burnt offering. Also I didn't know you could burn honey.
vs. 14-16: a food offering to the Lord. I wonder what all these offering signify.

Ch. 3
vs. 1-5: Gross, kidneys.
vs. 6-11: This is the fat that Hophni and Phinehas took from the Lord. Also a peace offering is described for the first time.
vs. 12-17: All fat is the Lord's there is no provision of fat for the priests. That and blood. That is why the two men were in the wrong eating the fat of the sacrifice.
