Exodus
Ch. 14
vs. 1-4: So Pharoah saw them going through the wilderness and thought, 'Now's my chance?" The devil is just the same but it is all for God's glory.
vs. 5-9: When you decide against the path God wants you to take and you have promised you get into sticky situations. Pharoah should have remembered the plagues.
vs. 10-14: How quickly doubt settles in!
vs. 15-18: The last Egyptian God to put down is Pharoah. The Egyptians will know that God is the Lord of all.
vs. 19-20: God gave them space from their battle and fought it for them.
vs. 21-25: The Lord fights for them. Help me to let the Lord fight my battles and not try and win on my own.
vs. 26-29: With the sea dry how long would it take to cross on foot?
vs. 30-31: What a mighty sign.
Ch. 15
vs. 1-3: Always rejoice in the victories and give God the glory!
vs. 4-10: The first song in the Bible. We get to see them sing of what God has done.
vs. 11-12: This part is used in many songs today!
vs. 13-18: Nice. Interesting that they are already speaking about future enemies fearing them for what God ahs done here but later they will lose that bolster.
vs. 19-21: Miriam was a prophetess! Women in ministry. Also she lead them in the dance! How beautiful.
vs. 22-25: Marah means biter remember this because later Naomi will use this name.

Mathew
Ch. 18
vs. 1-4: It's hard to understand what child like in the kingdom means. I understand it as humble, filled with wonder, always asking, desiring to be with the father, leaning on Him, trusting Him, and not concerning myself with the problems of this world. There's so much there.
vs. 5--6: Be careful how you treat children.
vs. 7-9: If that thing you like causes you to get too close to sin and fall in then get rid of it. That's why some churches preach against alcohol. Too many people can't stop and become drunks, its better to just not tempt it.
vs. 10-14: God will take care of the children.
vs. 15-20: If you are having an issue with someone here is how you should resolve it. Also when it says two or more agree, that context is important. If we agree on this even through contention there God will be!
vs.21-35: What a true principal to follow. God has forgiven a lot from me and I need to bear that in mind when someone else wrongs me or owes me money.136Please respect copyright.PENANAkGMqm2yPBh
