vs. 1-9: Judah meaning praise to go out first on the march. This also makes sense because Judah had the largest number practically speaking.

vs. 10-16: Rueben the oldest to take the rear or south side.

vs. 17: The tent of meeting in the middle?

vs. 18-24: Benjamin on the west side.

vs. 24-31: Dan on the east marching last. hopefully I can find a picture to embed here for this chapter.

vs. 32-34: These are the standards the Lord put out for organization. Also I think it is worth noting that the other tribes were placed under on leader or tribe to lead the march. Kind of interesting.
