Genesis
Ch. 41
vs. 1-8: Attractive cows? Unlikely cute and fuzzy is how I would describe good looking cows. Also God gives dreams to various people.
vs. 9-13: Now the cupbearer remembers Joseph. Good job.
vs. 14-24: Magicians and sorcerers alike will not understand the ways of the Lord. Also what does it look like for corn to eat corn?
vs. 25-36: Not only did Joseph diagnosis his problem but he also told the Pharaoh how to survive the coming times.
vs. 37-45: Pharaoh treated Joseph rather well. We are starting to see the fulfillment of the dream God gave Joseph.
vs. 46-49: Joseph was a good steward. God used his time managing Potiphar's house and the prisoners to develop Joseph's governing prowess. God uses your trails to temper you for what His divine purpose holds for you.
vs. 50-52: Twins are definitely genetic in the Hebrew people. These are what the half tribes are from. Two halves of Joseph.
vs. 53-57: Earth wide famine? That sounds familiar. Also all people now come to Joseph. That is fulfillment in action. Pharoah is a fat mood. Everyone comes to him and he's like go to Joseph.

Ch. 42
vs. 1-5: Jacob is still afraid after all this time for his youngest child.
vs. 6-11: He really did forget everything about what happened in his father's house. It says he remembered the dream. Also he was 17 when they sold him, not 6. Why do they not recognize their brother? I'd be hurt too.
vs. 12-17: Joseph wanted to see the one brother who did not betray him. How sad.
vs. 18-25: Joseph finally learns the truth of what happened. I'd cry too.
vs. 26-29: I guess Joseph still cares for his brothers to give them provision.
vs. 30-34: They tell Jacob everything.
vs. 35-38: Wow it's almost like Jacob doesn't consider the other boys to be his sons. Rueben seems like an honest man from this story.
Mathew
Ch. 13
vs. 1-9: This is a good parable.
vs. 10-16: So basicaly He speaks in parables to deter those who are not sincere. Those who seek Him shall find Him. God has a way of revealing things to those who are hungry.
vs. 17-23: It's amazing how many people will misinterpret this parable when Jesus Himself gives the meaning right here.
vs. 24-30: That is why evilness remains. So that those who may turn to God can while their is still time.
vs. 31: What a beautiful picture.
vs. 32-35: Another Old Testament prophecy fulfilled.
vs. 36-43: And there is the interpretation.
vs. 44-52: Heaven will be a great place.
vs. 53-28: True people who know you as a child often don't give you credit or listen to you.
