vs. 1-6: Then Joseph died. Pretty much sums it up.
vs. 7-14: Watch how quickly people forget their history.
vs. 15-22: In the Hebrew the midwives nationality is intentionally vague. Its interesting that they would be listed as such.

Ch. 2
vs. 1-10: Moses was a Levite. Also the Prince of Egypt was a bit wrong here. Moses would have known he was a Hebrew since he was nursed by his mother. What a blessing that his mom gave him away to save him and God allowed that she would get to nurse him still.
vs. 11-15: Moses tried to help through his own means but that is not how God always works.
vs. 16-22: Man I guess all you need to find a spouse is to go to a well and help people get water.
vs. 23-25: It said God remembered but it's not like God forgot. More so that He was drawn by their pleas and took action.

Ch. 3
vs. 1-6: Shoes are dirty. When God said it was holy and to take the shoes off it implies that the ground and area is now clean because of His presence. God waited for Moses to draw near to speak.
vs. 7-12: Moses questions if He is worthy to do this thing. I wonder if that is the fear talking. Also God lays out the promise land again right here. God promises to be with Moses to assuage his fear.
vs. 13-32: God gives His Name! Amazing! Also He tells Moses exactly what is about to happen, from plague to plunder.
