Genesis
Ch 37119Please respect copyright.PENANA2sglrhmJEC
vs. 1-2: It doesn't give us Jacob's lineage. Weird.
vs. 3-4: Honestly favoritism sucks. However, it appears that Joseph was being mistreated by Jacob's wives too.
vs. 5-8: So after Jacob shows favor Joseph decides to share his dream of them bowing down to him. Yeah that's grounds for a fight among siblings.119Please respect copyright.PENANAwOJjTw3AkU
vs. 9-11: So his father rebuked him but kept the dream in his mind. He must not have thought the interpretation was right or something. I've heard people referring to the number as if it refers to the time. Just an interesting thought.
vs. 12-17: Looks like the big brothers are trying to get rid of their little bro. Aren't they a little old for such childish games? Joseph is seventeen yeah but they should be in their 20's right?
vs. 18-24: Wow, some people hate dreamers. At least Rueben tried.
vs. 25-28: Judah is the lineage of Christ but he wasn't perfect. Also it seams like from his language he thinks the brothers will kill Joseph despite what Rueben already instructed them.
vs. 29-36: Rueben is sad but more so for what will happen to him? What a horrible thing to do to your brother and father.119Please respect copyright.PENANALPGd6Sjd9D

Ch. 38
vs. 1-5: So Judah had time to conceive a child and find a wife while he sold his brother? Wow.
vs. 6-11: So Judah's children were struck dead by God for being wicked. I wonder what the first one did?
vs. 12-15: So Judah wronged Tamar. Now I guess he gets what he deserves.
vs. 16-19: Clever.
vs. 20-26: At least he owns up to it. Tamar is actually in the lineage of Christ.119Please respect copyright.PENANAz7ZXFDN0wS
vs. 27-30: Twins must run in the family. How cute. This story is like Jacob and Esau but seemingly more wholesome.
