Exodus
Ch. 29
vs. 1-9: Aaron gets anointed. What an honor.
vs. 10-14: A sin offering for Aaron and his family. Interesting.
vs. 15-18: A pleasing aroma. Interesting.
vs. 19-21: What is up with the ear, thumb, and toe thing?
vs. 22-25: Wave offering is quiet literal.
vs. 26-28: The thigh is a call back to what happened with Jacob and his wrestling match with God.
vs. 29-30: These garments are to be passed down. No fast fashion here.
vs. 31-37: Seven Days of ordination. That's a bigger process than most ministers go through for thier's. Its more of a test and ceremony thing now.
vs. 38-46: God will show up and remind His people that He is God.

Ch. 30
vs. 1-10: Do not burn foreign incense on the alter.
vs. 11-16: Everyone pays the same amount for their life. God is saying no one life is worth more or less than another.
vs. 17-21: This basin is commonly depicted as an area of repentance. To be washed clean of sin.
vs. 22-33: Interesting. It says whoever touches it will become Holy. A different line of thinking than what we would see later from the people.
vs. 34-38: The incense and the oil were only to be used for the Lord not as a regular treat to oneself.130Please respect copyright.PENANAsJdv4ZH17G

Mathew
Ch.23
vs. 1-12: How good and true are these words! People love to fill the role for the accolades but don't have the heart for it.
vs. 13-15: Wow these are some strong words.
vs. 16-22: This is why the scripture says to not make an oath but let your yes be yes and your no be no. If your word holds weight you don't need to invoke a higher power.
vs. 23-26: Jesus is now directly talking to the religious leaders of the time. He speaks of them maintaining outward appearance when God looks at the inward man.
vs. 27-29: Wow, Jesus is calling them out for prophet killing when they are about to do that same thing to the son of God. Wow.
