Ch. 5
vs. 1-4: This is a pretty understandable quarantine habit.
vs. 5-10: Discussing how to make it right when you sin unknowingly.
vs. 11-22: Basically a litmus test for marital infidelity. If the woman cheated she's held accountable and if she's innocent she gets her husband off her back.
vs. 23-28: Not totally understanding this passage. I would need to further study this.
vs. 29-31: This might be in the case that a woman is with child that the father suspects isn't his own? Baby trapping is a real thing.101Please respect copyright.PENANAzxQCech1So
Ch. 6
vs. 1-4: A Nazarite vow, I can think of another Nazarite in the Bible.
vs. 5: This sounds like Samson.
vs. 6-12: Interesting that the man can be defiled even without any action of his own. God has provisions for this but it is still worth noting.
vs. 13-21: Not sure what this vow is suppose to do or why they take it. It could be worth a study.
vs. 22-27: The infamous blessing. This is where that song comes from. Also0 how cool is it that God places His name on His people? It really drives home the family thing. God is our father we have His name upon us.

Mark
Ch. 7
vs. 1-5: Just saying, I understand Jesus's point but please wash your hands before eating. It's kinda gross.
vs. 6--7: Jesus is saying they only claim to worship God. They can't even recognize who is standing before them.
vs. 8-13: Typical bad faith tactics changing the argument to a different matter to prove their own point.
vs. 14-23: Jesus is saying that your heart is more important than your physical cleanliness habits. Both are good though. You should make your bed. You will feel better.
vs. 24-30: This woman humbled herself so that her daughter might be healed. What a good mom. I know many mothers that would rather keep their pride than have their children do better.
vs. 31-37: Proves the before point by using spit to heal someone.
