Numbers
Ch. 19
vs. 1-10: A retelling of the sin sacrifice. This time with a bit of added instructions for the guy carrying the ashes.
vs. 11-13: Really didn't like dead things. It makes sense though. With all the disease carried with it. Also I don't think they embalmed people so maybe they didn't have need for a mortician.
vs. 14-19: It appears like God is protecting them from germs with everything uncovered being unclean. Also I wonder what hyssop and ash do chemically.
vs. 20-22: Restating.

Ch. 20
vs. 1: Myriam died and was buried. Not very descriptive but then again we don't get a lot for Aaron or Moses either in their deaths.
vs. 2-9: This is interesting God tells him to take his staff and talk to the rock. Also they never quit. We like to think we would be better but I doubt it.
vs. 10-13: God said they did not believe Him. Did Moses strike the rock out of anger and not expect God to do it?
vs. 14-21: They were very unkind. Also the Israelites had a long memory. They were in captivity for 400 years and still invoked the Edomites like they were family. 400 years is longer than America has been a country.
vs. 22-29: They all wept for Aaron. Not Miriam, sorry I'm a woman and that's sad to me. Aaron died pretty quickly.

Mark
Ch. 9
vs. 1-8: How cool! Also they must have talked a bit more since I doubt Peter, James, and John would have known what Moses and Elijah looked like.
vs. 9-13: They still didn't understand Jesus was going to die. Even though He's told them so many times. That must be frustrating to Jesus, kind of like a parent I guess.
vs. 14-29: Some versions omit the fasting part. I don't care for that practice because fasting is important.
vs. 30-32: I literally chuckled, they didn't want Him to know they were confused so they didn't ask. Sounds like college kids.
vs. 33-37: Exactly, don't try to prove you are great what is the point of that?
vs. 38-41: Casting out devils in Jesus name when earlier His disciples couldn't cast one out. Interesting comparison. Also if someone is not in your group but believes that is a good thing.
vs. 42-50: Good principal with the children. Confused about the transition of fire of salt to people losing their saltiness.
