It was a dark night in New Orleans, as Katherine Pierce staggered, injured, delirious, pale, losing a lot of blood, and in search of help. She was fighting to stay awake. She had been attacked and bitten by what she assumed to be an Augustine vampire, in which she had killed.
Suddenly, she felt the ground beneath her and everything began to go gray.
Klaus Mikaelson was heading for the bar for a drink, but stopped at the smell of heavily flowing blood. Then he looked to see someone laying in a desolate street, quite injured. So, he went to see who it was.
Once knelt down at her side, he immediately recognized her.
"Katerina?" he called to her, hoping she would awaken.
After a moment of silence, he assessed her condition and could see that someone had viciously bitten into the right side of her neck. So he gently pulled her into his arms and bite his wrist, putting it to her lips, making his blood go down her throat to help her heal since, for some reason, she wasn't healing.
A few minutes later, he took it away and it instantly healed. He then watched her wound heal. He then got to his feet and headed home, her in his arms, knowing she'd be okay.
