Brunette boys who like to walk around art shops I'm realising are top tier boyfriend material. I sigh feeling his hand in mine, wondering if I pinch myself and stop dreaming, will I wake up in bed prison. No more Matthew, just one tree hill and packets of crisps. Matthew has saved me from myself, I realise laughing slightly as I walk alongside him.

Destination number two has large windows filled with guitars and cellos. Long large wooden beams line the ceiling as we enter, and dangling from them are various acoustic and electric guitars. I spy a piano in the back, standing proudly just past a set of stairs. A grand black piano with ivory white keys, a note on top reads please feel free to play. There are stacks of sheet music from all genres. From classical all the way through to modern day tunes.

Trying out a few of the guitars he watches me strumming and smiles when he recognises the songs I’m playing. I take advantage of the feel free to play sign and give the piano a go. Thinking back to the piano lessons I’ve had I fumble my way through a few pieces by memory. However Matthew sitting next to me on the stool watching my fingers is utterly distracting.

"I mean is there anything that you can't do" he chuckles. I try to show him some basic scales and he places his fingers under mine trying so hard to get it right. I think it's probably the sweetest he's ever looked concentrating and focusing on what he's doing.

I begin singing quietly and he gazes up at me utterly transfixed. His hand rests on my hips as he listens a smile lightly playing on his lips.

I end up purchasing a few books and some plectrums. All to practice with, when I'm sitting in Matty's kitchen later or by the fire. Or maybe I shall serenade him in bed, who knows?

When we leave I feel like I'm on a high. He kisses me outside the shop and I'm sure we have given the young shop clerk enough to be embarrassed about for a few years.

"You hungry yet?" he asks me pulling me into his chest and settling for walking along the quiet path with his arm draped around my shoulder.

We select a place to eat together; I like that he doesn’t make me decide on my own. Eventually we are sitting outside a small bistro on the corner eating Italian and drinking wine.
"This place is a dream Matty" I tell him.

"Yes" I mutter, it's such a weak response but it's all I can muster. I know him so well already, yet he still makes me nervous at times.
