Ross is eloquent isn’t he, I suppose if I don’t tell her he will just tell her himself. I go through scenarios where I tell her, how I would say it. I imagine the disappoint in her eyes, the fact that she has asked me several times if there was anything else and I have denied it. The fact that it will be another problem for us to work through when I could just keep her safely in my arms, where nothing can come in between us. Including my own stupidity.

Placing my phone down I huddle in the bed next to her watching her open her eyes to me and smile. I can’t possibly disappoint this woman, it’s not possible for me to see sadness in her eyes especially if I have caused it.

I pull her on top of me so she's straddling me. She pulls her arms around me. It's not always about sex with her. It’s these moments in-between that change everything for me, this closeness. She sashays into the rain shower as I follow in behind her holding her waist from behind. Resting her head back onto my chest I sigh pushing away any thoughts concerning the party. It’s just us, I’ll keep her away from all of the others.

Scraping her wet hair back as she turns to face me, I kiss her under the shower and she returns my kiss wholeheartedly.
Soaping up my hands I massage her hair and down her shoulders. She closes her eyes relaxing into my touch. I massage down her chest, over her nipples.

"Turn around babe" I tell her.
She obliges facing the other way from me. My hands massaging the knots in her shoulders. I delicately place my hands around her waist and caress her tummy. She spoke about having a big bump the other day before we opted for the emergency contraception and right now I can't help but think about it. I pull the thought out of my head. Telling myself I’m eighteen and totally stupid crazy in love.

Moving her delicate hands over my body and occasionally kissing my chest, she makes me feel so relaxed, like everything I've been worrying about has disappeared under her touch. I reopen my eyes, I couldn't have dreamed of being this close to her.
After kissing her for I don't know how long in the shower, I quickly step out to get her a towel. Wrapping my own around my waist. She smiles as we head back into the room to dress.

Waking up to possibly the hottest guy I've ever met and sharing a shower with him has to be a new high for me. As I’m pulling the curling wand through my hair Matthew laughs and snickers.

The autumnal weather of the last few days has inspired me to pull out my warmer knitted clothes. I don a dark brown jumper dress that hugs my hips perfectly, some hold ups underneath for Matthew to discover later. Completing the look with heeled boots and my Barbour jacket. I sit down briefly looking at the leaves rustle up outside and turn my mobile on. A stream of calls and a message which I have missed from Ross. I shake my head unbelieving.

Unsure of my options here I opt for a causal reply thanking him for his concern although telling him that I am fine, I thank him for being there for me.
